I've visited this salon a few times. The pricing is fair, and they do take their time, which I appreciate. That said, the overall experience wasn't very welcoming. When I come in for services, I expect to feel greeted and comfortable discussing what I'd like done. Instead, communication felt unclear and I didn't really get that "spa" feeling I was hoping for, especially for a special occasion. Overall, you do get good results for the price, but next time I'll probably go somewhere with a more professional, client-focused atmosphere. For reference I had gel x removed and gel polish on my hands. For my feel French tip with gel polish. $120

I will be coming back here again and again as I finally feel like I got the best attention and They did an awesome job on me today! The prices are reasonable and comparable. I parked right in front of the venue. Parking in front will be limited past 4pm.

I previously gave this salon 5 stars based on how amazing Peter was doing on my nails. Hence my photo from Halloween. I got so many compliments. However this past time I went for Christmas themed nails and he kept saying he can't do any designs. Shocking when he did so well for my Halloween nails. I got the vibe he just didn't want to do them since i know he has talent. Thought I found my forever nail salon but since he "can't do designs" then okkkayy never mind. I even showed him a simple green triangle with some Rhine stones and he still said he can't !!! Definitely confused ??? Since he couldn't do the Christmas designs, i decided to just get glitter nails. He didn't put a base color underneath for whatever reason so my nails are like uneven colored. The thumb was thicker but you can see how the other nails are kind of see through. Not worth $70 bucks that i paid.

Kimmy took so so so much time making my hard gel nails properly shaped from ANOTHER Salon, so that they didn't break and just look gorgeous and healthy and did so much cuticle oil and just so lovely and I feel so feminine and pretty! they just look like a proper gorgeous manicure so much time we spent with care. Ty Kimmy and Tsi give me the most thorough pedicure. I have beautiful new feet as well! Thank you so much, ladies. You're my new home. read more

I've been to this nail salon twice already and they've done an amazing job both times. The other reviews are accurate, they do pay attention to detail and take care of your nails nicely. My acrylic nails have lasted me over a month with no lifts! Pedicures are done so beautifully and they really pay attention. I would definitely visit again. read more

I have been a long term client. As a business owner, I understand times are tough. However to be charged 15.00 to remove the powder they put on themselves 2 weeks ago? because they don't have a technician to do dip on nails and I am doing gel instead . I tried to reason with the young lady. Telling her it did not make sense. I was a regular customer and they were losing business. It had no impact on her . She wanted those extra 15.00 dollars. read more

Been coming here for a long time and always have a great experience usually getting a pedicure. Nice relaxing atmosphere with updated massage chairs that always work. They have many different services as well. My wife has been coming here even longer and refuses to go anywhere else. Everyone that works here is always attentive and nice. read more

Might be a new favorite for me. I stumbled upon this place on yelp when searching for a salon that would be open late. They close at 8pm! The guy working on my nails did an extremely thorough job and took his time even though I was the last customer of the day. When I mentioned my nails were sensitive, he took great care removing old gel and it didn't hurt at all. Also the place is gorgeous, very clean & nicely designed/decorated. Everyone seemed pleasant and I will for sure return. Street parking was relatively easy even on Friday night. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! What a disappointment! Came here and everything was going fine but then half way through my mani pedi they stopped to do another persons nails! No explanation at all! When I asked they said I had to wait another 20 mins (which would have been an hour) for them to finish. I'm blown away. I won't be returning. read more

I got my nails done on Saturday- Gel x. John took his time and ALL NAILS LIFTED FROM THE BASE. Oh my god. 80$ for NOTHING. They pull my hair out BUT!! Came in here today with my boyfriend expecting a spa experience, instead we encountered a bunch of crackling chickens, a group of women with the ring leader yelling across room asking everyone if they knew Kendra & yelling about how she had been hospitalized! They were loud and obnoxious & we couldn't wait to get out! We left & had drinks!! Please call before you go & make sure this group isn't there. They acted like they owned the place! read more

Very happy to find a new nail salon! I will def be back and highly recommend. I walked in at 5pm on a Sunday and they were welcoming and very pleasant. I was greeted by a gentleman who got me started right away. I found the vibes to be so calm, warm and friendly. The other customers appeared to be very happy and know the staff. My nails look GREAT! Both Julie and Kim took so much time to do my gel mani pedi. They spent a good deal of time getting the old gel off, cuticles, trimming, filing and painting my nails, along with a wonderful hand and foot massage. And even though they were closing at 6pm they didn't rush me out..just the opposite. So many businesses will rush you if close to closing time but both Julie and Kim took their time and didn't once make me feel hurried. These girls are lovely and work hard and I appreciate the really great service and beautiful nails! Oh and the rates are very reasonable...especially in LA! Recommend! read more

I can't believe today was my first time here considering I have lived only blocks away for the past year! They did an amazing job & showed that they truly care for their customers. I got an acrylic fill with gel & a gel pedicure, both came out perfect for decent prices. They took me in within the same hour of making an appointment! I was so happy that they did. That's huge for me because it makes the whole experience feel easy and respectful. The whole team is attentive too. They've offered me water every visit, and sometimes even snacks while I'm there. Lynn has over 20 years of experience, and it shows. Vanessa was also very skilled and so sweet. I had such a great experience that I booked my next appointment before leaving--something I've never done with a nail salon before. Definitely make an appointment--they're busy for a reason. Also, come early since parking is limited. My services took about 1 hour and 45 minutes, a bit longer than other places, but absolutely worth it for the quality. Nina is great, I always try to book with her. She introduced me to builder gel / hard gel polish, which I consistently get now. Ideal way to grow out and strengthen your nails without adding too much length. Nina is a pro at them. I've had several people do my toes and haven't had a poor experience. I recommend Iohki / Aoki if she's available. There are massage chairs here for enjoyment. I don't get too adventurous with my nails - just solid colors for me. Still, I've seen plenty of ladies come through for colorfully elaborate designs. All in all, I highly recommend this nail shop if you're around the Toluca Lake, Burbank, Studio City, Van Nuys or North Hollywood areas. This is well-situated and I personally like that it's not on a very major street. Pay via credit card, cash, Zelle, Venmo, etc. I really appreciate that they offer so many options for payment, as a number of other small shops require cash. This nail shop is in a strip mall next to a pizza place and a Thai spot. There's free parking in the lot, but spacing is tight and the area gets busy. Come a little early!

I asked for a classic french tip for that's as close as possible to the natural pigments on my nails. I love the results so much. I'm so bummed I'm from out of town, but I'll make sure to visit here whenever I'm in NoHo!

What sets them apart from other places is that they really care about your nail health (won't overdrill/overbuff, very careful with removals, etc). For my birthday, my friend and I decided to get our nails done together, and I thought Organic Nail House was the best place to go. Julie was my tech that day, and she was absolutely lovely. I got hard gel nails done in Japan, and it took awhile to remove, but she handled it with such care. My nails still felt strong. I chose to do white 002 with #13 chrome and it turned out so beautiful!!! I am literally obsessed with this new color and can't stop looking at it in the light!!! I may want to just do this combination every single time!! The salon itself is a very relaxing environment. Especially coming on a weekday, it was extra peaceful and lovely. Also, the owners of this place were very nice and cleared up the misunderstanding we had during my first appt. I appreciated the genuine and kind follow up from them, which means a lot to me! I came back after a long nail break and today was my third and final visit. The last two appts were a little bit off, all the little things that used to make this my favorite place were hit or miss now, but today was almost insulting. The woman doing my pedicure right away seemed new and unsure about everything she was doing. Cool, I'm patient. But it wasn't really the relaxing vibe I was paying extra for- a lot of bumbling around, leaving the scrub on my legs until it started to itch, cleaning the whole basin while my legs were cold and wet instead of drying them first, stuff like that. I was really dying for some pampering today so all of that stunk, but fine. She barely took any length off my toenails despite asking her to cut them short not just file. The clipper hardly touched them. I had to ask her to go back again and she did and they are STILL longer than they should be. But the part that was insane: during my 10 minute leg "massage" (which was only 8 minutes), she was literally texting with one hand and half massaging me with the other for maybe half the time. I was staring right at her in disbelief. I should have said something but I honestly felt weird demanding she massage me better? I wanted to relax, and that would have felt so uncomfortable. At one point she was just absentmindedly scraping her fingernail up and down the bottom of my foot, totally lost in her phone. I've never experienced anything close to this here. When I paid, the woman at the desk asked how it was, and I hesitated (this woman was right next to me) but said, slowly "um... okaaaay, but" and she cut me off "great! You owe $53"- she obviously didn't care, so I decided not to bother. The polish is nice even if my toenails will have to be cut in maybe a week max. That sucks. I still tipped 15% since I usually tip 25 or 30 because they are usually that good, but now I wish I'd tipped less. Absolutely wild experience.

I came in at 5:20 PM and didn't leave until 7:15 PM, The older lady who did my pedicure also seemed rushed, cut me during the service, and overall it wasn't relaxing at all. I paid $150 total for both services, so I really expected better work and more attention to detail. I think the salon should make sure technicians are properly trained and that the quality matches the prices being charged. No one has time to go back to fix things

The worst unsanitary place ever to get pedi very dirty and the techs don't know what they're doing. They cut my cuticle when I was getting a pedi done and the nail polish was old and dried up they didn't know how to paint! It had bubbles and not even on at all. I called and the lady said to come back and re do it then when I came she said they would not fix it. They barely understand. Do not go there they are so bad and have no clue what they're doing just rushing customers to get money! read more

I recently moved to the area, and must say that Cosmo Nails is my favorite nail salon. They have a good attitude and they do an excellent job. (The downside is that it's hard to find parking, and they don't have a restroom inside the salon.) read more
