Was under quoted and paid more than double the quote given. - I had 3 nail techs work on my nails that day. I was there for 6** hours. -pedicure nail tech put my feet in room temp water, got the color wrong and I had to ask if they would scrub my feet where she then swiped my heels twice. That's all. I pointed out the color was wrong and the nail was filed at an angle and it stayed that way unfixed. - first nail techs working on my gel x manicure put the extensions on crooked and had to remove some to redo them. Still put them on crooked the second time and told me she wouldn't have time to paint them all and do the art as the shop were closing in an hour and she had to leave right at 7. Nails are very far from cuticle and my cities were destroyed. I then had to wait for the 2nd manicure tech to finish my manicure. -second nail techs working on my manicure was amazing and tied her best to make my appointment enjoyable and make my nails look as good as they can with the crooked extensions and cut cuticles. Nails are still crooked and they look like I've had them on for weeks / already look grown out. Mind you I've had them on for 4 days. I reached out to the owner and she was very rude. She said she needed to investigate where she talked to everyone in the salon and got back to me via text. They offered me a $30 *courtesy credit towards my next visit and that's all. I paid $300 including all tips and they will not make it right but instead blame me; stating the extended time of my appointment was me being late. I was not late. Had an appointment at 4 and called an hour ahead to change it to 5. Also tried to stats the incorrect quote was something they would not have done. But I made the appointment based on the quote. Tried to argue but the owner stopped replying to me all together even after I sent her photos of my nails. Also missed my date that night dude to the service issues and time. :/ The whole reason I went to get my nails done to begin with. Do not go here.

Martin does my nails, and he's always kind, professional, and somehow manages to bring my random little nail ideas to life. One thing I really appreciate is how open he is to feedback. You never know how a nail tech will take it when you want to tweak something, but Martin always listens and makes adjustments without making it uncomfortable. That's huge for me because it makes the whole experience feel easy and respectful. The whole team is attentive too. They've offered me water every visit, and sometimes even snacks while I'm there. It's those small touches that make the place feel welcoming. The spa chairs are a hit btw, and I also love the mini hand/foot massage at the end. It's such a nice extra. Yen does my pedicures, and she's wonderful too. She's thorough, gentle, and consistently does a great job. I know gel nails with designs can get expensive fast, but M Nails Studio has been really fair with pricing, especially for the quality and detail. I noticed the prices were constantly changing and I frequently felt like I was being overcharged. What ultimately made me stop going, though, was developing a SERIOUS fungal infection in my toenails. Two of my toenails became so damaged that I essentially lost them. I brought the issue to their attention right when it started & they said I could take vitamins & it would go away.... When I brought the issue to the salon's attention, instead of showing concern or taking any accountability, I was told it was simply something I must have contracted on my own. I was also left with the impression that it would eventually go away. It didn't. Once I finally went to a doctor, I was immediately told that the infection was consistent w/ something contracted from a nail salon and that I needed to stop getting my nails done while it was treated. I really wish I had been encouraged to seek medical attention sooner instead of having my concerns brushed off, because I may have been able to prevent the amount of damage that occurred. After spending years as a customer, the lack of concern and accountability was extremely disappointing. Nail salons have a responsibility to take sanitation seriously, and when a longtime client raises a health concern this significant, it should not simply be dismissed.

They also then told me the only way that I could book in a future appointment would be online- so I was being punished for having a medical emergency and having the audacity to actually try to reschedule a manicure appointment! I have all the texts to prove this, if annyone out there wishes proof of this. Additionally, they lied, and said that "due to my several cancellations" - when I literally had only had ONE cancellation, five months, previous, again to due to illness. I don't know if this cruel and vindictive behavior that does not value, loyalty and kindness is because the owners are just unkind human beings, or if they're just so overwhelmed with always being shortstaffed that they've decided the only way to handle their personal upset is to take it out on loyal customers. Doesn't matter. I immediately rescheduled with an outstanding manicure salon that just opened literally five minutes from them, and so far those two appointments have been outstanding. Bel-Air Nails. After he was done with my pedicure Jamy, took me inside their room where they do waxing. I needed to wax my under arms, and eye brows. She did a great job; and for both services they charged me $58.00. Even though they are the business owners, I still tipped them well. Place was super clean, with cute decor here and there. Parking shared with other businesses, and one gender neutral restroom also very clean. She even gave me a $2.00 off for my waxing. My only critique is that the massage that Nick did on my legs/feet was too short. Didn't even last 3 minutes. I also like the pressure to be medium to medium hard. He hand strong hands, but didn't deliver. I will definitely visit this salon when I am in the area. Highly recommend to others. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and durability. I came in at 5:20 PM and didn't leave until 7:15 PM, The older lady who did my pedicure also seemed rushed, cut me during the service, and overall it wasn't relaxing at all. I paid $150 total for both services, so I really expected better work and more attention to detail. I think the salon should make sure technicians are properly trained and that the quality matches the prices being charged. No one has time to go back to fix things
