Shares the Chick Fries with my family. By share I mean I ate the vast majority of it. Great portions for the price and delicious. They didn't skimp on the fries, chicken, or sauce. I do wish there was more pickled beets. At least I think it was beets. It looks like plenty when sprinkled on top but as you bite it, it ends up being so sparse that the taste doesn't shine through. I'd absolutely go back auto try out other menu items.

Came here to stop for a quick lunch! My husband and I are BIG fans of all things truffle, so we ordered the truffle burger and truffle honey tenders to share. To our disappointment, the truffle flavor of both items were barely there. I'd say my favorite thing from the two was the burger, which was still pretty good even though there wasn't a truffle flavor. The chicken was good but considering there's so many fried chicken places open now, this one was nowhere as good as many other options. Both items were priceyyyy for what they were as well. This store is located in Windmill Food Hall which is a cool spot! There was plenty of seating when we went on a Saturday afternoon and service was friendly. Overall, although it wasn't bad, I probably wouldn't return here in the future.

It was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! Wow, did I really just say that? Isn't that pretty strong language for a lowly piece of fried poultry? Did I imagine it? The loud crunch, the tender meat, the flavorful crust, on a soft brioche bun with fresh lettuce, pickles and garlic parmesan mayo (sorry "aioli" is too foodie for me to say) made for an epic sandwich. Service was friendly and helpful with plenty of comfortable seating in the Windmill Food Hall. Fries very good, too.

This location is inside the Windmill food hall. The hall was absolutely bustling on the Friday night we visited. Wait time for three burgers and two orders of frings wasn't bad--maybe 10 minutes. We tried the BBQ burger, the Cosmos burger, and the Blue Cheese burger. They were all very good but the BBQ was, by far, the best. It comes with two enormous onion rings, bacon, cheese, and tangy BBQ sauce and your very best snake jaws probably cannot bite this beast. It's an outstanding burger. The Cosmos burger comes with carmelized onions and it's a solid choice. The Blue Cheese burger comes with just a hint of blue cheese and it was undetectable and a disappointment. The burger meat on all three burgers was very well seasoned and delicious. But if you're going to sell a blue cheese burger, put some blue cheese on it, guys. Blue cheese fans love the flavor of blue cheese. You get a very good portion with the frings (onion rings and fries). The onion rings are not greasy and they are very good. The fries were not seasoned and were very average. They were better than In-n-Out fries but that's not saying much. Overall, these burgers are very good. They just need to add a lot more blue cheese to the blue cheese burger and season those fries.

Ordered a Blue Cheese burger at their Windmill location, along with some tater tots and I have to say the burger was EXCELLENT. It's the "smash" burger type where the meat is flattened and charred a bit on the edges. That combined with arugula, blue cheese and I think there's sauteed onions in there that make this an outstanding burger. Tots were good too, hot & fresh. Wish there was a non $8 option. I don't need $8 worth of tots. Half portion would be nice. Granted I did ultimately see an option to add fries & a soda to your meal for $3 more (check price on that tho). Prices are high. $16 for a burger, with no fries is kinda steep but it's hella good.

Ordered the BBQ Chicken Tenders which is PRETTY PRICEY for delivery. $14, but with gratuity, delivery, and tax it is $18.44. The order arrived and was just bbq sauce poured over chicken strips with garnish and pickles. I do give props for the tenders being MASSIVE and filling. My wife had one and was disappointed though which was shocking because she was high as a kite. I believe I ordered wrong though because the title is Cosmos Burger and not Cosmos Chicken. Will try a burger in the future.

This place is awesome. We tried the Hot Chicks chicken sandwich and the Cosmos fries and both were delicious! Although not really comparable to a nashville hot chicken sandwich, the Hot Chicks was flavorful in a different way - the herb aioli was super creamy and made the whole sandwich come together. The fries were perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the onions and the savoriness of the cheese fries. On top of that, the service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be coming back to try their burgers and other chicken sandwiches!

Cosmos burger is located inside the Windmill in Carlsbad. For drinks, we both got a lemonade. Based on the cashier's recommendation, I ordered the garlic Parmesan and the hot chicks flavors. One of them was supposed to be tenders and the other, a sandwich. Both ended up being tenders, but it was alright. The lemonade was refreshing and tart. The tenders were delicious. We also ordered the artisan hot dog, which came with a brioche bun. It was pretty good! Hubby also got a spicy jam smash burger. He said it was so yummy that I needed to get my own LOL. I ended getting the basic burger and the frings to share. These burgers are so great- so flavorful and juicy!

Inside the Windmill food hall, I wanted to try and find my next new favorite crispy chicken burger joint. The foodhall is quite unique and next time I want to eat there instead of take out. When I got to cosmos, there was a sign saying they would be back at a certain time, which was only a short wait, so I did. I ordered the cosmos fries which was actually a little disappointing to me. I did not really like the red and green pickles as the taste was a little weird. However the presentation was quite good. The Garlic Parmesan chicken sandwich was quite good. Give them a try.

OK so I rarely rate places right after I eat there unless they piss me off enough. Happily, Cosmos Burger did the opposite. I have just had the best smashburger I have ever eaten since this whole trend started. I live in LA and I would drive back to Carlsbad for this burger. It's everything you want in a smashburger: 2 tasty patties with perfectly crispy edges, gooey melted cheddar cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and that Cosmos sauce which was just tangy enough not to overpower everything else. It's a bit greasy, so grab a few extra napkins. read more

Food (5/5 stars): Cosmos Burgers is a new addition at the Windmill Food Hall in Carlsbad! Each of their gourmet burgers comes with two patties and two slices of cheese, and those patties are grilled to perfection. I loved the Spicy Jam Burger because it had a nice balance of heat and sweetness. I'm looking forward to trying their other burgers and chicken sandwiches! Food was alright. Nothing wrong with it, but I don't see myself going back. I'd give 3.5 stars if it was an option cuz I didn't have any problems. The bbq burger had plenty of bacon and onion rings, but the bacon was precooked and smelled and tasted the same as jack in the box bacon. Truffle fries were pretty tasty but almost overwhelming with truffle flavor and had the shredded Parmesan that just falls off and gets left behind in the bowl unless you want to look like an absolute savage and shovel it all in your mouth. Employees were friendly and helpful. Food hall is a pretty cool spot. Even some family friendly games to spend time at. read more

I went to Cosmo Burger, but did not get burgers. Instead I ordered instead I ordered chicken tenders and truffle fries. Both were incredibly delicious. However, they did not give me the correct chicken tenders, I ordered truffle tenders along with truffle fries and only got the fries. The chicken tenders were honey, chicken tenders, and very delicious so I wasn't too disappointed. The place looks like a good joint. There are other foods in the food court and it's a good place so you can get a mixing match of different culinary experiences, so I highly recommend Cosmo Burger and the next time I go back I'm gonna try one of the burgers. read more

So glad we decided we wanted burgers that day because Cosmos delivered! We tried the Hot Chicks sandwich, the Basic burger, and the Frings. The sandwich and burger were amazing, juicy, and generous (especially the hot chicks). The Frings were our least favorite since it lacked some seasoning but we didn't need them since the burgers were so doling and delicious. The servers were so patient with us as we took our time to order. They were so friendly and created a fun and inviting atmosphere that welcomed us with the smell of hot oil. The reviewers must be super hungry or lack options. Good service - kind staff- burnt burgers, greasy. Wife asked me what I wanted to eat for lunch for Father's Day, and I told her I wanted to eat a good burger. I suggested Shake Shack, but she didn't feel like driving down to La Costa. So, we looked up burgers closer to where we live in Carlsbad and decided to try Cosmos for the 1st time. We both got their Cosmos burger which is essentially a cheeseburger and decided to share a Monkey Fries. Our 3 girls each got the kids' menu cheeseburger and fries. Should've gone to Shake Shack or at least In N Out, which is right across the freeway. The burgers were disappointing and lacked flavor. Even my kids who never complain when they get a chance to eat a burger were disappointed. The only highlight was the monkey fries. Maybe I will give this place another shot and try a different burger, but their Cosmos burgers were underwhelming to say the least and it was a bummer especially on Father's Day when all a guy wanted was a tasty burger. read more

Our family is in town for two weeks on a little vacation type trip. We have been here twice in the first few days. The food is so delicious. We have had the bbq burger, cosmo fries, the chicks (regular chicken tenders), hot dog, and all have been so good. We definitely recommend trying this place if you stop in at the windmill food hall. I hate to dump on a small business but $30 for a fast food burger (that was so over done that the edges of the beef were crunchy like potato chips) a side and two cokes is a bit much. The patties need to be thicker, cooked way less and the prices need to be looked at. But hey, California's gonna California I guess. I'd like to see them succeed and if I see some positive reviews where some changes have been made I'd definitely give them a second chance. read more

Had the spicy jam burger and chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. Chicken was perfect, crispy but soft and juicy at the same time. Im a picky burger person, and am often not impressed. Easily one of the best burgers in north county. Beef itself was seasoned right, slightly crispy, and full of deep steak flavor. Both my wife's and my burgers had way way too much ketchup on them. So much that the patties were slipping out of the buns when we would pick them up. It was gross, the taste of the ketchup way too overwhelming. I had to throw out the food. We had been excited to try this place and it was such a disappointment. Overrated, over priced, greasy overcooked burgers, mediocre burger sauce and over salted fries. The chicken fingers' batter was falling off. This place is a mess. If you compare this place with Tanner's Prime, it's not worth your money. You can get a double at Tanner's prime and fries for similar money and it's leagues better. Don't waste your palete or money. read more

OMG finally they opened up a stunning Burger and Chicken spot. First of all the portions were humongous. I didn't think I was gonna get that but by what I'm paying, I think I'm getting a great amount of it! Service was great, they explained how they do their burgers and what different about it! Both burgers and hot dog were really delicious. Sauces were so different then we get used to so it was amazing experience for us. We love it! If you are addicted to burger, you will be a fan of cosmos burgers in Carlsbad! Service was so quick and Ambiance was so fresh! read more

Place is dangerous. Fried chicken? Killer. Hot dogs? Awesome. Burgers? Yep. Wish it wasn't so close, gotta fight the urge to swing by way too often. Definitely my cheat day spot. You guys should honestly limit your hours... bad for my health. read more
