This pizza place is pretty cool. They have a good range of beers on tap. Pizza was average but I must have really good pizza places at home to compare to because everyone says this is the best pizza in OBX. The wait time for take out after 5pm on a Saturday was an hour, but who's in a hurry when you're at the beach? Will return in the future. read more

My family and I have enjoyed pizzas from Cosmos (this location and Southern Shores, just over the causeway) for over 20 years. The pizza here has been uniformly good. That said, our experience this past weekend was shockingly bad. We arrived on Saturday night, waited 30 minutes for a table and ultimately were seated, only to be told first by our waiter and then by the manager that (1) we would not be able to place an order for at least another 30 minutes, but they'd get us our drinks, and (2) even after we placed an order, they wouldn't be able to assure us that we'd get our food within another hour after that - and that was not limited to pizza, but also appetizers and salads. [Never good to hear, but especially when dining with young children and elderly parents] Why? Because they'd taken so many take-out orders that they could not keep up with both the number of pizzas ordered for pick-up and serving the people who were there to eat on site. Sorry - that's just not fair to people who chose to eat on site. Cosmo's needs to figure out how to limit the number of take-out orders (they told us they started taking dinnertime orders at 8 am that morning - that should have tipped them off that there would be potential problems), so that people who show up to enjoy their pizza and other typically good food offerings on site won't have to wait 30+ minutes to place an order and another 60+ minutes before any food will show up. I hope they can figure this out. read more

Raw wings + hungry kids =not the best experience Further...the choice that was given was "they would comp the wings OR give us a re-do". For the price, it should have been fresh wings AND a comp. With all the great restaurants in the OBX, this is a must miss. read more

Me and my sister came in at 10 ish or so but the front desk clerk was a jerk absolutely needs to work on that "totally attitude" I get it your about to close but your open till 11, It wasn't like we came in 30 minutes till close but straight at 10 come on. He was even more of a Smart Alec to the guys after us. Work on that nightlife. read more

Pizza was ok, but the service here at Cosmos was terrible! Our waiter seemed bothered by our requests (extra straws, napkins, etc.). They were incredibly under staffed so the wait to just order drinks was awful. Won't come back. The pizza was not good enough for a return. Order take out at Corolla pizza instead. Understaffed and the one waitress we saw was incredibly rude to us, even yelling "jeez" because I asked to pay for our items. I understand being frustrated because you don't have enough help but don't take it out on your customers. If anything, customers are frustrated with the wait and she should apologize for the wait instead of making things worse. read more

This place was only okay. Our drinks weren't refilled once throughout the entire meal and the subs weren't that special. The antipasto was really disappointing, 90% lettuce! Close to authentic NY style pizza. Sweet little spot near end of Corolla. Cozy interior, great staff, service and bar area. Plenty of signature pizzas or build your own. Nice craft brew selection. read more

Here from Washington, DC. I must say that the pizza here is as good as any in Washington. We had four pies -- cheese; sausage; pepperoni; and a white pizza with ricotta and peppers. Each was outstanding. The wait is long; on Saturday night at 7 it was a two hour wait for pickup. So be aware of that. Otherwise, this is just really great pizza. read more

I would give less than one star if Icould. We have been coming to Corolla for many years and have eaten here every year. The pizza isn't bad, but the service is piss poor. The main guy at the front (not sure if he is the owner) is a jerk, rude as hell and unfriendly. We called and spoke with several different people to confirm order and price (let me add they are short and rude on the phone) and when the order was picked up it was a different and much higher price. When we advised we spoke to several people regarding the price, their response was "well they told you wrong." That's it. No, I'm sorry you were misinformed,etc. There is something to be said about customer service and I'll tel you what, it ain't here. While we were waiting for our food (take out by the way) a party of 10 came in and the same guy said " oh no, we can't seat a party of 10, they need to be spilt up." Their service sucks and I don't care how good or AVERAGE their pizza is, customer service always wins. They won't get another dime from us! read more

After a long day at the beach and pool, our group of 11 walked up to Cosmo's without a reservation, looking for some pizza. What we got was one of the best meals, with the best service, we had all week! Great Lagers on tap, along with a full bar. Our apps were fantastic. Get the breadsticks! I also waited an unbelievably long time to get served. I ended up going to the bar to eat because I was completely forgotten about for at least 30 minutes while standing at the front door waiting to be seated. The bartender was doing God knows what but was not paying very much attention the entire time I was there. When I finally did get to order, I ordered a pizza. When it arrived it was cold. I would have complained but there was nobody around to complain to. And I was really hungry, so I ate it, despite it being cold. I had read some good reviews on here about their food. As far as quality of food I'd give it a 10 if possible. I lived in NJ for 27 years and know how pizza should taste. I lived in GA for 11 years now and good pizza is hard to find so if you have ever lived in the Tri-State area this is the place to go. The only complaint was it took way too long to get it...Maybe it was a hiccup in service but our server comp'd is 50%. If the pie came out in 15 to 20 minutes like it should this place would have gotten a rock solid 5. read more
