The best part of this experience is that Chris Handy (sales rep) made multiple calls to make sure that the right vehicle was located and that the best price was offered. Even when a $2500 rebate expired, he found an almost exact replica of the ATS (2015 instead of 2016) along with a $10,000 rebate that brought it under the requested price. I went here to look at a car I saw online. The sticker price was way higher than the carfax value. So they're playing a game to get people to come in, pay regular price and think they're getting some kind of deal. Anyways, that's not the worst part. I liked the car, was considering if I'd want to finance or pay cash, so I went inside to talk to Willy, the car salesman. He explained to me what the terms and interest would likely be, but we agreed it was not great terms, so I said don't submit it to the bank, I'll come back with cash. Later that same day, I sent a text asking what the cost of other car I was looking at would be, and then got a call from someone saying I was approved for a loan and to come back. What? I didn't want a loan... so now I have 3 credit check hits on my report for nothing. I called the manager and he said, oh he was just trying to help, it doesn't affect your credit that much. Of course you're not worried about the affect it has on MY credit. He said there's nothing they can do to fix it. So just beware if you sit down with them, they're going to do whatever they want with your information. Unethical if you ask me. read more

Got my car brand new 5 years ago from this dealership. Paid extra for the Denali. After the 5 year warranty is up (at less than 40K miles) the car falls apart. Dash board has cracked 2 times and had to replace both pieces, door handle has broken off, paint is chipping off the other handles, back trunk makes an awful loud noise when I open the back, paint looks like crap and GMC and this dealership I got it from isn't helping with any. You would think the good faith would kick in and they would fix it. I paid so much money to get my Yukon Denali new at this dealership and 5 years later and at JUST now hitting 40k miles it looks like a cheap old car. I get washes and details on a regular bases and it's looks awful. I would think twice before getting a Denali from here. read more

Went to get a service on my leased Yukon and ended up purchasing the new Yukon with help from Morgan the GM he was super helpful and personable and took his time with us I would 1,000 times go back to him for another purchase he got us a great deal. This was a very strange experience. The good is that they had the vehicle I wanted to look at, a Cadillac escalade. The salesman was knowledgeable. The thing I can not get over is that multiple salesmen were wearing bandanas for masks. Not sure how its going to help with COVID, I guess it's a face covering without a seal. My salesman kept playing with it as it fell of his nose.....ridiculous. Who wants to sit 12 inches away from this nonsense. Considering I was there to look at what was supposed to be a 115k vehicle, I would expect a bit more professionalism. I asked him if I could drive the car without him as he made me uncomfortable. He did let me drive it. Then after I drove it I asked to be emailed some information (cost to lease, build sheet on what I drove) that I never received. On top of that they are upcharging the vehicle 30K.....Thats right they wanted 145K for an escalade that did not have every option on it. They can ask for whatever they want, thats fine, I understand that there is a shortage. Would have been nice to know before I drove an hour to get there. Would have been nice if they wore appropriate masks. Perhaps the owner could spring for embroidered GM masks for everyone, especially if they are getting 30k over sticker on a car. I have been about 5 dealers looking for my next car, this was the only one that did not follow up with me and the only one that did not wear a mask. I will not be going back. read more

I have a 90 DeVille I drove throughout the Rockies, Tetons, Zion, Vegas, Death Valley to O.C. Upon arrival things started to need to be replaced. The staff at this place were the most headstrong & knowledgeable when it came to repairing this car. Being it is very old, many svc ctr's tend to shy away but they informed me of what my problems were, gave me an estimate, and we're friendly & composed. A lot of places I go to don't wanna even touch my car, but thanks to OC, (@ $4000 later) I am cruising in style. I didn't get most of my work done at OC, but they were able to steer me in the right direction as to what needs attention. I guess that's the praise for having faith in a good American product. read more

Terrible job from Jake at GMC. No work ethic and doesn't know how to follow up. This type of customer service should not be tolerated and needs to be addressed immediately! Gets all my information, address, social and doesn't follow up with me. I have to send an email to his manager for him to contact me. Then we couldn't get a deal that night, and he said he would follow up the next morning. Well of course the next morning came along and nothing. Be attentive and be prompt. I purchased a pre-owned vehicle this week at the dealership and dealt with Chris Kim(sales associate) and Jaime (GSM). It was a great experience straight shooters and no funny business! I normally don't buy vehicles at dealers but found the right car with right options here and was able to negotiate the right price! (it was pretty well priced to begin with for a dealer). Excellent experience from driving into the lot until the point of which we took delivery on a sharp 2017 Encore. The sales process was seamless, transparent, and enjoyable from the efforts of Austin, our sales representative. Dean also did an excellent job representing both Suburban as a dealership and Buick as a brand. We were a bit skeptical prior to our visit to Suburban, as the lease deal that was advertised seemed a bit unrealistic. This dealership is one the worst GMC dealerships I've ever associated with from top to bottom. Brand new 2020 Sierra I bought before Christmas has some features I needed added on they had the truck for 2 MONTHS and still wasn't complete. Didn't know how to work the equipment they installed. Purchased a 5th wheel to be installed it never happened told me they reimburse me, but instead they did the contract over never said hey we can't put the 5th wheel on and your reimbursement is through your financial company!!! Finance department is trash over there spent 2 days filling out paperwork. Management is garbage as well never even called back and reach out about the situation. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE DONT DO IT!!! read more

I have always been a car owner but just leased my first car from Suburban and could not have had a better experience. I have been shopping around for a low mileage lease on a compact SUV and found a heck of a deal on a 2017 Buick Envoy. The terms of the lease were advertised online and confirmed on a Friday evening. We drove up early Saturday morning and in a couple of hours I had test drove the vehicle, fell in love with it, and was signing the paperwork. Austin was our sales agent and he was fantastic with showing us all the features of the vehicle as well as keeping us informed as to every step of the process and how much time we could expect between the steps. Dean, one of the managers, was extremely friendly and was a great representative of the dealership. Larry, in the Finance department was also very helpful and completely transparent about the entire lease process and any information I should know for the future. I was not pressured into any up-selling and never once felt uncomfortable. There was a little bit of wait time before sitting down to sign the lease papers but no more than can be expected. I had planned to be at the dealership most of the day and was on my way before lunch time! This is a newer dealership and the amenities are beautiful and several seating areas are comfortable with plenty of coffee and water while waiting. Every person we spoke with was very friendly and made me feel great about making the decision to lease this car. I would recommend family and friends to this dealership! read more

You have to ask for FRED specifically to get ***** (5 star service) He got my 96 Caddy DeVille an oil and filter change and a full sparkling wash before the techs went to lunch. His kids are super athletes in Football and volleyball. They must get their domination trait from him. he takes care of everything for you. FRED got the job done perfectly the first time. The WORST car buying experience.....EVER!!! Last Sunday, Nov. 24th I found a Cadillac ATS, negotiated the price with DARRON their sales manager, gave them my $1500.00 deposit, and then found out I couldn't take delivery of my car, as they couldn't get it detailed (they don't have anyone working in that department on Sunday). So, we agreed that I would return in 2 days to take delivery of my new car and off I went with my SIGNED CONTRACT. Upon my return the following Wednesday, DARRON is on vacation and sends me an e-mail... "I know things will work out." Well they didn't!! KEN and FRED had rewritten my SIGNED CONTRACT, upping the agreed upon purchase price from 2 days prior. When I showed them my SIGNED CONTRACT from their sales manager, they both got abusive....Ken even attacked me by shoving me against the counter and grabbing my signed contract out of my hand!!!! The POLICE had to be called for me to get my SIGNED CONTRACT back and my $1500.00 deposit that I'd given them Sunday for the deal that they were now not going to honor. THIS ABUSE OVER BUYING A CAR!!!! The POLICE OFFICERS suggested I go to YELP to let the public know of their practices. THANK GOD these officers were able to get my $1500.00 and contract back! I took my signed contract later that day to MARTIN Cadillac. The folks there gave me a better car (same ATS model but with $1350 more in options) for LESS money. They handled the sale quickly, without drama, and most importantly,... appreciated my business. read more

Very poor quality service, in the long run. They made me feel like a friend and then quickly made me feel like a victim. I asked for a piece of hardware to secure my front license plate, which I could have done myself, but thought I would ask if they had one while getting an oil change. Weeks later when washing my car, I took the front plate off to find a bolt going into the plastic bumper cover securing the license plate frame. I was so made and all the general and service manager can say was it was protocol. To state the obvious, I didn't ask them to secure the frame because it was already securely fastened. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Now I have a hole to remind me of this negative experience for as long as I have my car!!! read more

Tried to buy a used carola here in July. Called from northern ca and drove down to see it. Everything looked good and I wanted to buy the car for my daughter. It was getting close to closing time and my daughter did not get off in time to see it. Two salesmen and a manager assured me the car would be held with my name on it until we could get there the next day I tried to give them $ to hold it and was told it was not necessary. Well needless to say I called when we were five minutes away and was told there might be a problem. Hmm the second salesman called back and said it was sold that am. Nobody even called me to get a heads up. So much for their word! Can't be trusted!! Makes me wonder what else they were not telling the truth about. No way would I return! Buyer/ shopper beware! We can't believe that with your dealer name, corporation after selling us a vehicle with a bad engine, wrecking our vehicle you guys offered to pay our first payment just to remove the Yelp comment of the WORST EXPERIENCE that we are going trough with Orange Coast Buick GMC Cadillac. This was offered after we went in to remove our extended warranty & gap by the way. If you guys where professional & stand by what you preach, you would have gone above and beyond to make it right, instead you hide behind the curtains & leave us in the dark, but till this day a lil over month after paid my first payment just keep in mind still don't have my truck none has ever reached out to us to try to make sense, or make it right out of this nightmare, we have been very stressed, sleepless nights, nor any phone calls from you David F or any of you general managers, with a simple apology, all we keep being told is accidents happen. My husband had to reach out to Sal in service he's about the only person that has been helpful & communicated with his boss Kevin service manager, because as Van Sales manager said there was nothing else he could do for us was not helpful at all.
