My husband had the shrimp and lobster Mac and cheese, and my son got the hogfish. All of our dinners were great. The hog fish was light and buttery, the green beans were amazing and didn't taste like an oversight, and the Mac and cheese was full of shrimp and lobster and not heavy. The food is fabulous and authentically Caribbean. The kind of food you simply do not expect to find in a nondescript little corner spot. Yet here we are. What really stood out beyond the food itself was the sheer volume of business this place was doing. While we sat, a steady parade of Uber Eats and DoorDash drivers cycled through, alongside families walking in for their own pickup orders. When a restaurant is replacing people's home-cooked meals on a regular basis, that tells you something important: the food is that good, the consistency is that reliable, and the staff clearly knows how to execute both dine-in and takeout without sacrificing quality or temperature. That is not easy to do, and they make it look effortless. A note on timing: I visited in early 2026 and am only now getting around to uploading the photo and writing this up -- my apologies for the delay.
