I love Costco! Might be busy, because who doesn't love Costco?! Great service, selection, and value! Food court is consistent too! Been coming here for nearly 2 decades, throughout childhood (from San Ramon), college (mainly to get a $10 pizza, driving from Moraga), and adulthood!

Great Deals, but long line for food I took a try on the $1.50 hot dog, not realizing how long the wait would be. It was a huge line at the food court. I had plenty of time to write and edit this review. On the other hand I got great deals on just about every other product I was looking for.

Great price for hotpot meats

Great Asian hauls for CNY. Costco has a great marketing team and knows their customers' behaviors and buying habits Great job. Check out line is fast and smooth.

Wyatt in the Optical Department

Wyatt is the definition of thorough Customer Service! Even as his break was approaching he displayed patience in helping with sizes & selection! He explained everything and guided us to the best value when it came to the cost of small "upgrades". We appreciated his obvious knowledge!

Five stars. Why you ask? Because on the weekends, they sell fresh ahi tuna poke. I'm drooling just thinking about it!

Love buying my towels from here. They are large enough to use for after shower. Keep those fat towels coming!

Ask the Community - Costco

Does this location's food court have an onion crank for the hotdogs?

Not anymore. Only ketchup, relish, and mustard are available (with some Costco stores eliminating the deli mustard option).

Not many retail stores, but more fancy eateries for the upper class. There's also an Equinox, which is a famous fancy gym. Everything is almost expensive as Santana Row. Some security guards are walking around on duty. The parking garage is a bit curved when you enter and exit. I only like the Christmas tree area, which is beautiful to look at in the evening, including the water fountain in the kids' area. It's nice to walk around and take profile pictures, but not much to do until the holiday season. Overall, this is great for families to hang out and for rich people to dine in.

Shout-out to the unknown vendor who built the 2026 "Year of the Horse" photo booth. A heads-up: the space availability numbers posted outside the parking garage weren't accurate at all, which made the search more frustrating than it needed to be. It was also tough navigating through the crowds at times, especially because the toddlers in our group couldn't see anything over the crowds. That said, City Center Bishop Ranch truly offers something for everyone in the family. There's a splash pad that's perfect for little ones, plenty of restaurants at every price point for picky eaters, and even fun options for adults- like a DIY cocktail crawl for the 21+ crowd. We once made it our mission to try every margarita on property! I ran into my retired high school teacher, bartending at THE LOT (movie theater). On the shopping front, I do all my Anthropologie returns here, and I've been refreshing my inbox waiting for news about Rico Rico Taco opening here (I'm obsessed with their Oakland location). As for dining, I've enjoyed meals and treats from Slanted Door, Salt & Straw, Roam Artisan Burgers, Philz Coffee, Mendocino Farms, Marugame Udon, Delarosa, and Boba Guys. I still can't believe that sleepy San Ramon now has so many fantastic eateries and experiences all in one place. It's quickly become a go-to meeting place for our extended family.

Thank you to Smart and Final for being open during Thanksgiving morning!! I thought that I had all…read moreneeded ingredients in my pantry, then I looked and it was bare. This grocery store is the second one that I visited this morning, and I'm so thankful that they are here and there were many options to choose from, and the aisles were clean, and the two staff members that I spoke to were really nice and friendly even though they were working during this cold holiday morning.

On Friday 5, 2026…read more Danville store # 786 Pathetic enough for a company that's open to the public to have a 2 1/2 star rating. The company in higher authority, needs to look at that as detrimental, & really look at this as a crisis in changing management practices. I'll go into further details. My elderly client likes to shop here to get her items. To stock up for the week. Since she lives in Blackhawk, she prefers shopping at the Danville Smart & Final store. Every time I go in, there's always conflict & harassment within the store. Among the employees, and even the customers that shop. Completely disrespectful and it takes zero dollars to be decent. Which the majority of humanity fails at doing. There's been a couple of incidents between a supervisor named Natina. Calling out a specific employee named Lina, right in front of my client and I. There was another customer in the back of us when, I did not finish my transaction at the register. Completely unprofessional, the right thing to do is take the employee in a private setting and confront the employee not in front of the customers. Another incident with Natina, when I had asked where the Polish sausages were. She had yelled out, YOU CAN'T SEE them? Pointing RIGHT here. I bypassed and telling her anything that I wanted to tell her. Because I'm not with the drama. But unfortunately, after encounter and encounter, of the disrespect. I want to go above and beyond to report the ladies that work at this company in management. Creating so much havoc. When my client and I shop here. The treatment at the store, with the customers & employees is mind-boggling. If there were no shoppers in the store, that whole company would fall to the ground. Which puts money in their pockets to pay their bills. A customer by the name of Carl Kumar. Had reported the company as well for the harassment and treatment of the customers. Not only the customers but a specific cashier & employee that's been with the company for a really long time. I honestly don't know how management. Lisa and Natina. Go to sleep at night with themselves. They must really not like their life, to treat anybody within indecency. My client sees the harassment in the store as well as other customers and myself. Confronting this issue I brought it to the store manager Lisa's attention. Lisa did not want to hear my side of the story. She had told me that because I had confronted her, that this would fall back on Lina. An employee that's been the company for a long time. I didn't feel like I needed to know that. That's none of my business. My problem is not with Lina. My issue is with Natina. A supervisor that is always harassing the employees and the customers. Lisa not wanting to hear the conflict between the situation. Plus solving the issue at hand. I don't know who put her in charge. She's horrible at doing her job. Management at the store is completely disrespectful. I do not know why Lisa would bring Lina into the equation. Other than Lisa wants Lina to lose her job that & isn't right. Lisa said this because i told her. I will report the situation and issues at hand, to the Higher official. Every job title needs to have conflict resolution management classes, in how to solve an issue among the employees. And no harassment or conflict should be even obligated or facilitated between customers EVER. Natina is right! lol I don't own the company at Smart & Final. Neither does she, but she fails to realize that I am a customer. I will not be going to human resources, for any of the conflict at hand or complaints. Simply because I am not an employee at Smart & Final. I am a customer. Which in retail Customer Service the customer is always right. There's always somebody above somebody else. The messiness at the store is mind-boggling. Not only from the customers disrespect by the management at the store, but also to the employees at conflict. Also I would like to mention the lanes at Smart & Final are not wheelchair accessible. They are so narrow for any kind of disabled person to get through those lines and navigate effectively. Too many things in the aisle, with crowded spaces. I also wanted to bring this up to Lisa's intention, but she did not want to hear what I had to say. Therefore Lisa not handling the conflict at hand. I felt like my only obligation at the time was to contact Danville Police to report this issue. The conflict and the issues that are undergoing at Smart & Final store # 786 For sometime now. I will also be bringing this to corporate's attention as well.

These are $500 lenses that I will have to live with for years, so comfort matters. They told me the lab had already started making the lenses and the order could not be changed, this was less than 24 hours, maybe they move too fast and should consider a 24 hour time gap to allow to customer changes, which probably happens many times. They did offer to cancel the order and gave me a full refund, which I appreciate, and the representative was knowledgeable and helped me pick the right type of lenses. This is why I gave them 3 stars instead of 1. What I do not understand is why they refused to place a new order for the corrected lens size when I was ready to reorder immediately. Instead, they simply cancelled the order and sent me on my way. In other words, they would rather lose the sale than work with a customer who is trying to correct something reasonable less than 24 hours after placing a $500 order. That kind of inflexibility is not what I expect from a business that claims to provide personalized optical service. I will never go to them again.
