We have gone to this Costco a few times since we moved to Bremerton, the people are SO rude! The first time we went, the people ahead of us had some meat that was leaking blood, I told the gal who was boxing stuff and, instead of cleaning it up, she grabbed a handful of paper towels and tossed them at me. After I handed them back to her, she rolled her eyes at us and cleaned up the mess. The next few times we went, the cashiers didn't acknowledge us at all, the last time the cashier actually snapped at me. We bought a large carport and had to wait more than 20 minutes for help that they called for before we even left the door. We would rather drive over 30 minutes to the Gig Harbor Costco than go 10 minutes to Silverdale. read more

They questioned me about my service dog then asked me to leave and i was just returning an item and leaving. They were rude and snippy at the service desk. The older lady with the bob has rude and offered no alternative solutions. read more

i dont have the employee problems i read about but find products not stocked here so have to go to other costcos where the items are available. i believe the stock manager is lazy tries to push inferior and/or higher price items. They need to provide sanitizing wipes. read more

I am very disappointed in Costco and their produce/refrigerated items. Seem to only last for 1-2 days and then moldy. I've complained a few times with no results. They do refund when you bring the items back, but not always worth it after taking 15 mins to find a parking spot and then trying to get into the store. :/ read more

I love Costco, just not the parking lot or the stupid stupid people with their giant carts. Why do you leave your cart in the middle of the isle and walk away? Why are you walking so fast with the car sized basket on wheels? Those things are dangerous! take my kid's out with that cart while you are running for the toilet paper isle... okay.. don't forget to throw elbows to get your hands on that sample.. who knows when you might get another chance to try an 1/8th of a granola bar or 1 ravioli. I love shopping here for specific bulk items like toilet paper, shampoo, meats, berries. The staff are friendly and they always have great deals. My only reason for 3 stars is the quality in the produce seems to be decreasing. Fruit never seems to ripen correctly especially peaches or nectarines, watermelon is a gamble. Apples are great though. But a lot of the produce is from Mexico or not even close to us. The steaks are good but I've noticed I've the last several months they are cut abnormally thicker than usual at the silverdale store so I wonder if there is a new inexperienced meat cutter? I have other friends who also noticed this as well. Is no one checking to make sure they are cut correctly? Obviously not. read more

Ah Costco. Seems that every third car in Kitsap County is headed there at any given time. I broke my leg this year and experienced the atrocious amenities for the handicapped. If you can find a handicap parking slot you'r v. lucky. If you get one of those electric carts, you should promply enter the lottery. A woman who had one said she waited 45 minutes to get it, and I heard they have very few. I buy for myself only and am constantly stymied by the food package sizes that would feed the Seventh Air Force. I can't use salad containers that contain the entire Amazon Rain Forest. Still, I can use the olive oil, spices, and I heartily recommend the jar (NOT gallon sized) of pesto which is fabuloso! And the staff are pretty good folks, too. I love love love Costco!!!! I'm a fan of their business model and have friends who have moved up in ranks working at Costco. I like that they care about their employees and consumers and with this whole Visa being in and AmEx being out, all the better for me since I refused to get a AmEx card just to shop their. Anyways, the Costco here in Silverdale is pretty fun to go to. It's in a busy area, not out in the middle of nowhere like some Costcos I've been to in CA. I could go to Trader Joe's across the street, check out Bed Bath & Beyond, and then spend some time at the Goodwill before I drive to Costco to fill up on gas and eat samples while stocking up on supplies. There's tons of parking though it's always full being in Silverdale with so many people. The workers are all pretty pleasant and I see the same faces all the time for the last couple years. Obviously, the company is good at retaining workers. It's always pretty busy no matter the times I go, usually after 11am and before 6pm. I try to go around 2:30pm since I find that they put out tons of samples starting around that time. There's been times I would take a lunch break around that time or do my errands around that time so I can make it to Costco for free samples for lunch. If I go around once, I'm pretty satisfied and if I go around twice, I'm full. Sometimes, I even get a dose of vitamins while I'm there and even get to fight off my nonexistent colds with their Airbonne samples. It's even better with friends just because free food is always fun with friends! LOL. I'm a fatty, yes I know, but I'm so proud of it. Hahahaha. This particular Costco also hosts Military Family Nights for those in the military without memberships to go and shop once or twice a year, which is pretty nice of them. All in all, how could going to a Costco not be fun? Free food samples, tons of stuff to look at, $1.50 for a polish sausage & soda, $1 for a fresh churro, $5 for a huge rotisserie chicken, etc. Wait, correction!!!! It's only fun until you buy a bunch of stuff and start ringing them up at the register. I do suggest self-control while shopping here, things add up fast! Haha. Trust me, I know! ;) read more

It's always nice to save money especially when you're buying bulk but seems like a lot of items Costco sells are not as good as the quality at the grocery store for example A-1 sauce is watered down at Costco bulk, gum is mushy when you chew it and buy it from Costco's bulk section and their chicken bake is never as good in the box bulk section as they are in their fresh deli. May I also mention that the last few times that my husband and I have gone there we have had employees sweep underneath our feet. Costco is a great place to shop for families! I love to go there and sample things. That way I actually get to taste/see what I am about to buy! I love the Silverdale Costco, my favorite store. This probably sounds totally ridiculous but I was totally insulted when I visited Silverdale Costco Friday before Superbowl. One of the management people with his red beard was wearing Bronco's jersey and spouting off how the Broncos were going to beat the Seahawks. I would suggest that Costco transfer this employee to Denver, where he really wants to be. Hey guy, if you don,t like the Seahawks you could just be neutral (and wear regular clothes). You are in Washington and you could just be courteous to you customers. This is a very special time for us and it is great to see the support by most businesses. Best prices on food in Kitsap! Unless you want to sell your soul to Wal Mart. The staff has always been my biggest complaint with this Costco, between rude door people and staffers flying through the isles trying run people over, however I have noticed that they have gotten better. As for the other customers..... sigh. When my brother comes out to Silverdale we like to shop Costco together, we also like to marvel at the complete morons who shop there. From people leaving their carts square in the middle of the isles, just enough to inhibit others from passing, and apparently the fat slobs who take samples have phobias against standing too close to others as they typically spread-out into a 30 foot radius around the sample station. Additional to people not being able to navigate the isles they also have a hard time navigating the parking lots and streets around it, mostly in Prius's and Outback's, which explains a lot when you notice how these people drive elsewhere. read more

Very consistent with the other Costco locations I have shopped in. Parking is terrible anytime after 11am any day of the week. If you can the best time to shop is right when they open in the middle of the week. Definitely stay away on Saturday and Sunday if you can help it. read more

It's official: I'm a suburbanite. I'm writing a dang review for Costco. That being said, I've shopped in many a Costco from Arizona to Washington and this has to be the chillest one. Of course it can get busy and there's the family of 6 that will stop their cart in the middle of the main thoroughfare to ogle a 60 pack of beef jerky, but people are generally orderly and courteous here, especially compared to the SoDo Costco in Seattle which is my worst nightmare. The Silverdale Costco is clean, neat, and has everything we need to stock up for the apocalyp-- er, month, as well as things we don't need but want. I have yet to interact with the photo or optometry departments but I had occasion to visit the membership counter and the lady that helped me was super nice and worked quickly. We also haven't had a bad cashier yet. Take a deep breath and recite some oms before entering the parking lot, that's where everyone loses their humanity (I literally saw a guy scream at an older couple from his monster truck and try to hit them before screeching away). Anywho, if you must go to Costco this isn't a bad one to visit. read more

I choose to Eat at this location all the time. One I like that I can get my food and go, two I love the prices. It is definitely one of the better pizza places in Silverdale, and realistically on this whole coast. I recently discovered that I really like Churros! I think I've had everything on the menu! You just can't beat the prices, and the quick service. I wonder how they're able to keep all their prices down. That makes me wonder about the ingredients in the food I'm consuming from them. But it's really nice to be able to feed my whole family quickly for a fraction of the price vs going to anywhere else. I can spend $30 at Panera and get two sandwiches 2 cups of soup and two drinks. If I spend $30 at Costco I could get three salads two pizzas three drinks and three Churros. Or any number of a combination of the items they have and feed my family easily and have leftovers. The only thing I dislike about Costco is the fact that the parking lot is ridiculously full all the time. It's very convenient that there is this food court in a store that I shop at for my family. But parking 20 miles away and trying to get my car with a hot pizza is annoying. read more

I've shopped Costco, Silverdale since they opened the store and found Costco to be an exceptional place to shop and save money... One of my favorites for quality products at low prices. I'm taking the time to write this due to the amazing negative comments already posted.. One gripe was never finding the items in the same place - GOOD! It means they're not too lazy to move products around in their zeal to remain a fresh exciting place to shop. I have never found dust on a Costco product! I treat myself to shopping and without exception I find new and exciting products by strolling the store... LOVE COSTCO! I've never asked an employee about the location og a product without an immediate answer. If I had a gripe it would be the need for a bigger Silverdale store! read more

Treated so very poorly by the guy who checks your receipt on your way out of Silverdale Costco. C'mon Joey there is no reason for the treatment you gave me and my girlfriend (she didn't have her card and I was all ready inside) the guy was so angry and pissed off at her for trying to come in through the out door, sheI felt that there may be a physical altercation, she was afraid he might hurt her. Costco listen here, this is the type of mouth breather you can't fix with progressive discipline. Believe me, I have spent a lifetime dealing with guys like this. They belong in trades away from the customers. COSTCO management I'll ask you this. How many lost customers is it going to take before you take some action? This review is about customer service at customer service . I never wrote bad reviews about a place but I feel like in the situation we were in, I feel like I need too. We were in the membership area at around 2 in the afternoon applying for the card today. This is our first time applying for a membership card mind you, there is a line for return merchandise so we decided to stand in for applying the membership line. After the customer ahead of us was care taken of, the employees did not even acknowledge us or ask us if we needed assistant and just went on continuing to ignore us so we decided to go to wait in line in return merchandise. Again, after the customer ahead of us was taken care of, we were continued to be ignored by the employees. So we decided to ask the employee at the return merchandise if this was the line to apply for the membership. After we waited again, the customer AFTER us was ask if they needed assistant before us. Finally, one of the employee (mature older lady) ask us if we needed any help. She was the most helpful compare to all the employees that work there unfortunately, we don't remember her name. read more

We love this Costco. First of all we get all of our pharmaceuticals here. We know all of the RX dept people and they are great. This place deals with a very high volume of clients daily and we find that they are very efficient at what they do - very helpful. The medications are also the best deal around overall hands down. Many times if you go to fill elsewhere I have found other pharmacies jack up the price by sometimes as much as double even with insurance and our insurance is the best. Great customer service all the way around. Recently I was shopping and a vodka bottle fell out of my cart and I instantly had all sorts of help around me from all over the store. It was pretty awesome to see not just the staff but also the Costco clients trying to help. (Great community) We are here almost daily as we are always in the area and its a convenient location. The lines are not really all that long when we go in. We also have never had an issue with returns the few returns we have had to make. We really like this Costco read more
