These guys don't put a lot of effort into helping folks. EVERY TIME i have went here. There's been a problem. This has been throughout the last 4 years since I bought tires from them. Most recently, they scheduled an appointment. And then did NOTHING. When I came back to check on my car, they said they retired to call. No voicemail. No text. NO CALL! I was getting other calls. And they do not care at all. I will never come back here. And YOU should never go there if you actually want reliable and timely help. read more

Costco tire center in Vacaville is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I purchased tires online through costco.com, they called a week later and I set up an appointment to have them installed. When I arrived, all seemed fine, but 15 minutes later they called and said that I purchased 8 tires and only 4 were delivered and since the order wasn't fulfilled, they couldn't install my tires. I showed them that I only purchased 4 (I had my order confirmation) via email. On their system it said that I had 8 tires and 4 were still on the way. When I showed proof of everything showing that I only purchased 4 tires, they acted like it was an inconvenience for them, after I wasted two hours of my day off. They kept telling me that I had to cancel the order for the other 4 tires online. I told them that there is no other order showing and I can't cancel something that does not exist. I ended up leaving pretty pissed off and called the 800 customer service number. After I told the lady what happened, she was floored. She called them and told them that I was right and that there is only one order for 4 tires. They said that there was nothing that they could do and kept telling her to cancel the order and have me come back to the store, repurchase the tires, then set up another appointment for installation. The customer service representative was amazing and very helpful. She ended up telling me to return the order, get a refund and go somewhere else. Yes, the Costco representative told me that she did not recommend buying tires from a Costco tire center that treats their customers like festering trash. She apologized profusely on behalf of Costco and refunded my money. I believe the names of the tire center employees were Jerome, Johnnie, and Stephanie. Avoid this place like the goddamn plague. read more

Just came back from Costco and was told they couldn't rotate my tires because they were 2/32. The 2 top pics are my front and rear tires, the bottom pic is to gauge what 2/32 would look like, as you can see it's not even close to 3/32 and they said it was 2/32. They said I needed new tires because it's almost bald and I probably only have about 5k miles left in my tires. These guys are a joke and just wanna sell tires or too lazy to rotate, one of the reasons I bought there was the free rotations for the life of the tires, I guess my bald tires don't meet that criteria, looks like I'm buying somewhere else when the time comes read more

Costco Tire Center - Tires - Gas Stations Near Me - Vacaville, California

This it's probably my first and last Time coming to Costco to get my car serviced. I unfortunately had one flat tire, and I thought I was lucky because I was already close to the tire center when my tire went flat. Costco at the time was doing a Michelin tire sale so I called ahead of time to see if they had a set of four tires before I got my car towed to that location so I can just get them all replaced. Chris answered the phone and told me that he had a full set of tires so I went ahead and called the tow truck to get my car towed to that location. When I got there the tow truck left and I went inside to purchase the four tires for my car. Chris then told me that the tires were apparently sold so I was forced to buy a set of two Bridgestone tires for my car. I was told that I was going to get a discount when the Bridgestone tires went on sale because of the mistake. When I returned to Costco just a little over a month to get the sale I was denied the tires and now I'm forced to buy the other set of 2 tires at full price. I wanted to speak to the manager which I believed name was Mark but he didn't come out to discuss the problem with me but instead employee just told me that I couldn't get the sale and that was it. Terrible customer service and would not recommend Costco tire to anybody. read more

Costco Tire Center lacks proactiveness and responsibility. I have been on a spare for almost three weeks because a tire that they didn't not order when they said they ordered it hasn't arrived. I have called and have been told that the manager Mark would call me back in three separate occasions. I have yet to talk to him. They told me my tire would be expedited. It's been one week. The tire is coming from San Jose. Apparently they are making rubber there. I don't think they know what expedite means. A regular tire shipment is 7-10 days (a man there told me). They have no professionalism as I have asked 3 times for an ETA for the tire. Again beginning deferred to the manager whom I was told would call me back and never did. Such a huge inconvenience. I have warranty with Costco on all my tires but I will never go back to Costco. I'd rather pay full prices elsewhere and get better service. I am greatly disappointed in them. They have poor efficiency and no sense of responsibility. Terrible place. read more

Previously bought tires at the Tire Center and we also purchased the warranty for damage, ended up being a bolt in a tire. Of course this happens the night before my wife is leaving out of town so we would be down to one vehicle. Wife called the shop and ended up talking with someone very helpful. When I arrived separately, I was also helped by a very courteous and helpful tech. This was late night when Costco is the only tire shop open in town. I appreciate at that late hour, 6:45pm, they still had the energy and professionalism to be polite and helpful. Very happy with our tire purchase years ago and this experience is why I will continue to support the tire center. I'm sorry that I didn't get names but this was on 3/8, 6:45pm who helped us out with a Toyota Avalon. Bravo guys read more

The benefits of getting tires at Costco have disappeared. The price and service are not worth it.

I met with Mark and Kyle at the tire center with a gash in my tire. Even though they were booked back to back throughout the entire day, they fit in a handful of people with the same situation as me, who had a damaged tire without an appointment. They were professional with their communication, informing us of realistic wait times, cost, and process. Mark even took the time to flat down a translator to help him better cater to a customer in need. read more

Paid in advance for full set of tires and was promised they would be delivered "in a day or two". It's been over a week and no phone call and no follow up from Costco. Sales rep guy pretty much just told us what he thought we wanted to hear and now Costco is demonstrating how little they care for their good, paying customers. Weekend is here and the family car still needs tires and so we have to cancel our plans. Thanks for less-than nothing, sleazy sales rep guy. Look at your customer reviews, Costco. It really shows how poor the customer service experience is at your tire "service" center. Forget this place--it's not worth the few dollars you think you might save here. Go to a real tire dealership and skip the long lines (with no one present at the counter for 10+ minutes). Uncomfortable, overrated and under-staffed grime-hole with nothing but a couple of greasy, worn out chairs in a dark corner to accommodate customers. read more

After a 4 hour wait and spending $600.00 on a set of new tires, our vehicle was returned to us with all four tires covered in an unsightly white residue. It blows my mind that after spending almost $600.00 they couldn't even take the time to wipe the white residue off from the mounting process that they caused. I will not be returning. read more

Excellent service! I have to say thank you to Kalani and Jay. I came in with a low pressure sensor on my tire and Jay immediately had me pull the car up and took a look at all four tires and found a small decrease in pressure in one tire. Together he and Kalani removed the tire to find a small leak that would've been impossible to find without the removal. They also found that although I bought Michelin tires from another Costco location the employees there had installed Bridgestone tires instead. Kalani and Jay replaced the damaged tire and the two Bridgestone tires with brand-new Michelin tires. I did report the error to the other Costco location as an FYI. Overall, I am so satisfied with the customer service I got today! The patience that they showed and their attention to detail helped fix my tire and correct an error that I missed! Every experience I have had here is negative. It is clear that I'm treated differently as a woman considering how the worker's demeanor completely change when he speaks to a man. I came in for a tire rotation (for tires that were purchased at Costco) and were told they couldn't rotate the tires because they were bald and they couldn't do the rotation. I was confused because I had only had them for two years and the worker who had been looking at my car just smirked at me as if he was trying not to laugh at me the whole time. I don't understand what's funny about someone who's confused and just wants information? I ended up going to the Fairfield Costco tire center the next day and they told me that the tires weren't bald after all and still had 5 to 7 thousand miles left on them still and the rotation could be done before I needed new tires. So not only was I told the wrong information but I was looked at and talked to like I was completely stupid. Thank you to Mike C who explained to me what was going on with my tires and what the next steps were. To whoever was working on my vehicle -please learn how to speak to people. Huge shout out to Mike at the tire shop that stayed late to help me out. Ran into a pot hole and was losing tire pressure. I had my tire repaired by Vacaville Costco and in a day it failed. Took it to Fairfield Costco and was informed that they did not redo tire fixes and I'd have to buy a new tire but they would look at what happened. They found the patch was off center and done wrong and said that could be fixed. They would use bigger plug and patch and hope that works, otherwise I'd have to buy a new tire. Vacaville really inconvenienced me by not doing the fix right and the wait time that had occurred and a possible new tire cost. read more

I had an appointment to have a tire repaired at Costco in Woodland. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment and waited at the counter for 10 minutes before anyone came out to help. I explained that I have a slow leak in my drivers side rear tire and asked how long would it be. The service person informed me it would be about 30 minutes. After and hour and 10 minutes I asked what was the condition of the repair. The guy in a rude tone of voice asked if I was called, I replied No I was not. The service technician informed me that there are two nails and do to how close they were, they could not do it. I asked it has been in here for over an hour to inform me that, The service person looked at me and said "Your appointment was an hour ago. Then I received a refund in which I had to stand in line for an additional 25 minutes. If you need a repair, I suggest to try Less Schwab. I was looking forward to getting four tires for my Forester here, however, customer service was terrible. The person I spoke with (Cant remember the name) was rude and began arguing I needed 17 inch tires instead of 16 inch tires which is what is on the side panel of my vehicle. He told me he would have to order them but only if I come back the following Monday which made no sense. The tires would have cost me over $600.00. I left and went to another tire place in Fairfield along North Texas Street which they had in stock and only cost me $360.00. I love Costco but not their tire center in Vacaville. read more

I've shopped around for tire prices just because the normal 3 to 4 hour wait at Costco is a little much! But if you have the time and a second vehicle and driver to pick you up so you don't have to wonder the aisles of Costco aimlessly for hours, the prices can't be beat. I went in Saturday at 9:30 am to fix a tire with a sidewall bubble and was told it would be two and a half hours before they could inspect it. I said fine, and left it with them, met my wife in Costco shopped and they called me around 10:45am and said the warranty on the tire covered almost all of it and that it'd be about $15. I was happy as I was expecting to pay for a new tire as what I've read online is that tire manufacturers usually treat bubbles in the sidewall as a driver error (hitting a curb and causing the bubble). I don't remember the guys name behind the counter but was very professional and courteous. I almost gave 4 out of 5 stars just because of the wait time, but since I wasn't put out at all I gave all 5. read more

Go somewhere else, totally disgusted with the whole process of purchasing tires at Costco Tire Center in Vacaville, I purchased the tires I was told they were to be special ordered and I would be called when they came in. Never got a call, I called 4 days later and they were there. Came in to have them installed and when I got home the wheels and tires were scuffed and there was a white paste all over the 4 tires. They actually look worse then my old tires that have been on there for 4 years. I decided to go back to Costco for help, the employee was rude and had a very condescending attitude. I expressed my concern and he went and got a brush and spent 5 seconds per tire wiping them. Didn't say anything and walked away. I'm disgusted with the customer service, I'm in Costco at least once a week and I spend a lot of money there. I have never been treated so badly in all the years I've been a member. My membership is up this month and I may not renew it. I can go to Les Schwab, or Goodyear and maybe pay a little more but I won't be treated badly. read more
