When we arrived, it was pretty packed, but Michaela called us over right away. She was extremely nice and helpful. After checking the date on the battery, she said it should be okay. She would have them check it all out before charging us for a new one. She did let us know it might be a two to two-and-a-half-hour wait, which was understandable with it being a Friday and how busy they were. We decided to walk to a restaurant and have lunch while we waited. About an hour and a half after we left, I was texted saying the car was ready for pickup and then also got a phone call. They checked the battery and alternator, which were fine, so they did not give us a new battery. We were also given advice to check out what else may be causing the issue my husband was having. The entire process was not too long, and everyone was very helpful. We have had a bad experience at the location in Fairfield and will gladly drive to this one from now on.

When I arrived, there was a short wait as the 2 ladies at the desk were helping other customers. They have nice displays of wheels throughout the store. If you happen to be waiting they have a snack/drink vending machine as well as free popcorn in the waiting area. Les Schwab will rotate your tires for free regardless if purchased the tires from them or not. They do charge $17.99 per wheel for spin balance ($71.96 total out the door for all 4 wheels). It was getting close to closing (6pm Monday-Friday) and I did not hear from anyone regarding my car, so I swung by around 5:45pm and was told my car was not done yet. About 5 minutes later I got a text saying my car was ready. They did complete my car by closing. They still had a lot of cars in the bays by the time I checked out and left and after closing time. They work hard to complete your car as promised at a great value. I would definitely recommend going here for any tire service as well as for brakes and alignment.

It was a long shot, but since it was a Wednesday around 2 pm, I was hoping it would work in my favor (spoiler: it did). I forgot the name of the person who answered the phone when I called, but he was really nice and helpful. He told me they can do a walk in since they are not busy, so I was there about 20 minutes after the call. When I checked in, I was greeted quickly and was quoted a wait time of about 1 hour 30 min. I was fine with this knowing I did not have an appointment. The person who helped me in person was also really nice. I'm sorry I forgot everyone's names. But all the workers I saw were nice and provided great service to customers who were there and those who walked in. I ended up waiting about 30 minutes for my tire rotation, which was a lot quicker than quoted. In total, I think I was here for about 30-40 minutes only. Great quick service, considering my past with other America's tires back in Sacramento.

Get ready for a long one…read more Off the bat, Ron seems like a good businessman and generally a nice guy. He quoted me a great price for a level kit, wheels and tires. I was told that my wheels I wanted would be at the shop in 2 weeks (I'm assuming so he could secure a deposit from me, because I later learned that the wheels are on a nationwide back order of 1-2 months). After a lack of communication and poor transparency despite several text messages and phone calls, I ended up waiting about 6 weeks for the wheels. I felt as if I was chasing my own tail. I decided to wait for the wheels, mainly because he was reluctant to give me my deposit back, I figured maybe this is a one off situation, so I showed some grace. That was a mistake. 2 days before my appt, I informed Ron I'd arrive to the shop at 9am sharp, which he agreed and was aware of. Upon my arrival at 9am (opening time for the shop), I waited for over an hour before anyone even asked for my keys. Once the cogs finally started to move, I had asked to see the products before installation, to make sure they were correct. If it wasn't for me double checking, the incorrect kit would've been installed on my truck. When I confronted the employee about the incorrect kit, he responded with "this one is the best anyways". Turns out they opened the wrong box and tried to sell me on it anyways. Now for the wheels. Apparently after 6 weeks of waiting, and confirming with Ron and the KMC sales rep over the phone over a month ago regarding the model/spec of wheel, the "wrong wheels were delivered". So at this point, it's been an hour and a half since I arrived at the shop. My truck hasn't been touched, the wrong level kit was almost going to be installed, and my wheels weren't even present. With my frustration at this point, I asked what Ron could do to make me whole. I was told he could knock off $120 from the price and I would have to wait another order cycle for the wheels, for a grand total of 12-16 weeks from my initial deposit. Lackluster service. On their official website, this business claims that their "customer service is second to none. We are here to ensure that you get quality service from a team that cares!" This could not be further from the truth. I would save your time, money, and sanity and spend a few extra bucks going to a more reputable shop.

A large man (who I later learned was the owner) walked up and immediately said, "Start the car." No greeting. No explanation. I asked, "What for?" He repeated, "Start the car." I asked again why. He then sarcastically said, "Do you know how to start your car?" Only after multiple times asking did he finally explain that he wanted me to slowly roll backward so he could visually check for a nail. That's fine -- but basic communication matters. Simply saying why would have avoided all of this. Instead, he escalated and told me I "didn't have a brain" and that I was an idiot who didn't know how to start my car. Completely unacceptable. I also asked why they don't use proper tire inspection methods (like removing the tire and checking for leaks in water). He said they don't have that equipment. The entire interaction felt rushed, dismissive, and hostile. It honestly seemed like he was irritated that I wasn't buying tires and was "only" getting a repair. Everyone has bad days -- but taking it out on customers is not professional. Beware of the owner's attitude at Vacaville Tire Center. I will not be returning. For anyone reading this: A1 Tire (which has strong reviews) is literally on the next street over on Brown Street. I recommend going there instead.

I needed an oil change on my Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and have had good experience here in the past…read morewith oil changes and A/C service, so I decided to come here again. I normally take this mini van to the local Dodge/Chrysler dealership, but they recently closed. Service here is usually good and they seem to be honest. They take walk-ins for oil changes and if you come early enough and are willing to leave your car, they usually can accommodate you for other services as well. The oils change the Pacifica was $99.48 out the door for full synthetic oil that my van requires. They advertise fluid top offs and tire pressure set to factory recommendation, but not sure if they check anything else because when I got my car back, there is no multi-point checks and no mention of how the fluid levels and tire pressures are or how my tires look (which is odd for a tire shop). I keep an eye on my fluids and check my tire pressure/treads regularly, so it's not a big deal to me, but people who rely on mechanics to tell them if there is a problem, it would be nice to inform them on any potential issues of if everything checks out. At least they don't appear to upsell any services which is a good thing, just perform the service asked that is asked for.
