I went to Clovis Costco for new tires and was very disappointed in the service I received. The tires I ordered were special order. They took a few days to come in (which was not a problem). I made an appointment for early morning, when they arrived. I had asked how long it would take and was told about an hour and a half, which was fine. Then I was there for over 3 1/2 hours and was told it would be another hour, I told them I had to go to work and what was the problem? They in turn told me, well we worked you in! No, I had a scheduled appointment! I then called a family member to pick me up so I could go to work. 10 minutes later they call me and tell me, my car is ready and yes, my ride just got there! I receive my car and my "New Tires" look like they have been driven through dirt or taken off of another car that scraped them against a curb, my Lexus air caps were not put back but were replaced with cheap ugly gray plastic ones and when I called to complain....I was told "we don't detail tires" I told them, I didn't ask if you detailed them, I asked don't you at least wipe them off and make sure you give your customers clean new tires?! All 4 tires looked like this, disappointing. No pride in their work at all. I'll go back to "America's Tire" even if they are busy!! read more

Bad costumer service is all I need to say. Self checkout was a mess! Workers just sitting around doing nothing. I needed help keying in my membership and after asking the workers and getting a, "I'll be right there" they never came so I left and went to another area to get my items checked out. They took my "one day" membership paper and lied to me that they already gave it to me. I told them how I needed it for gas still and the lady still told me "you can't use that for gas" when I have before and the guy in the membership told me I could. She then gave it to me after I told her you could use it for gas. Overall, Costco needs to work on their costumer service because today they get a -0/10 in costumer service. read more

Mixed feelings about this place. The good- It is indeed much bigger than the old location and spacious, the parking lot no longer feels like I am navigating clogged arteries. And the gas stations, oh my! I have never had to wait in line for more than one or two cars, and there are times when I have come where there are more than one empty pumps and I'm like, which one do I choose? The lines are faster inside the Costco too. The bad- No photo center. Came here wanting passport photos and nope. Bought a package of what looked exactly like bacon. Got home and realized it wasn't. Tried to take it back because they have a very clear sign that says "Costco will accept any return for all products in our store". Did not clarify food or perishables. It also says online that you can bring back all food. The manager told me I could not return it. Super nice with ample space and lots of new items not carried by other local Costcos. There are supposedly thirty gas pumps (didn't count them all) and six self serve checkouts. The tire center is located inside the warehouse. There is a much nicer and larger beer and wine section. Not sure if it was just for the grand opening but there is a nice seafood kiosk. Madhouse today on opening day though. Comparable to big city Costcos for sure. read more

Costco pharmacy used to be the best place to get meds while on a fixed income using cash rather than insurance. It seems those days have passed. A couple of months ago, I learned that you have to ASK for the member discount!! Since then, we've had to deal with a pharmacist with a Napoleonic attitude. Not sure why they moved a short distance away from the other location but this new location has a good gas station set up conveniently out of the way and the best prices in town, as always! This is the newest Costco in the area and it's good that they flank three of the corners of the city. If you can't find what you need at one of them you aren't that far of a drive away to get to another one and they probably have what you're looking for. I am very disappointed in the customer service I have been receiving in the membership department. In the last 2 months I've been to 3 different Costco in FRESNO, CALIFORNIA and apparently all 3 Costco's membership card printer is down. Every time I go to Costco I have to wait in a long line at membership department just to have someone write my Membership ID and sign it in order for me to shop. I became a Costco membership because it was suppose to be convenient and fast. But it is not, having to go to membership wait in line 10-15 minutes every time is not acceptable. On top of this, the customers service I got at the Clovis, CA location was terrible. I asked when the printer would be fixed because it is inconvenient for me, especially with my kids to keep coming and waiting in line as Costco is hectic enough. The customer service respond with I don't know when it'll be fix you'll just have keep coming back here, next in line! She completely cut me off. No, I'm sorry for the inconvenience we're working on it soon. No empathy to the customer at all. I hope this issue can be addressed ASAP. Beware! I will never buy tires from this Costco ever again. They do not hold up their end to their warranty! Bought 4 Michelin tires 3 years ago for $800+ with 60,000 mile warranty and currently close to 40,000 miles on the tires, and they are all worn to the point of wires exposing soon actually worn at 30,000 miles half of warranty. Tires are on a Minivan, daily driven, commuting to work and back only. Costco wants proof/documentation that the tires were routinely Rotated every 7,500 miles by a certified tire shop. For you DIY who can easily do a tire rotation, don't! if you are hoping warranty will cover. I told Costco Tires that I've rotated tires with every oil change I do which is about every 7,500 miles, NOT GOOD ENOUGH. You can tell that I've rotated my tires routinely by the even wear on all 4 tires. Please save your time and money! Do not buy your tires from COSTCO! There are other alternative Tire Shops with comparable pricing. I feel I got ripped off. NEVER again will I buy tires from COSTCO!!!!! read more

The guy at self checkout seen that my hands were full so I could not pull my Costco card out to show him, dropped everything to the floor and had him help me pick them up. That served him right. Next up, I had paid for my pizza before I did my shopping so that way when I'm done the pizza would be ready. After 30 mins of shopping I'd figure it'll be done by now. NOPE! James needs to work on his customer service hence he's been there since 2015! Helped 2 people in front of me then left to do whatever he needs and does not come back to the counter. A very helpful gentleman named Stan was so kind to go above and beyond to assist with finding some dog food, he quickly grabbed a team to grab the inventory from up top . Some of these "cashiers" or whatever you call them are absolutely horrible. Literally ZERO customer service/interpersonal communication skills...It's like going to the DMV. And the absolute worst is named "SOTERO G." ...Rude, carelessly throws products into the cart after scanning, super unfriendly. I actually turned all of my items in my cart upside down with the scan bars facing up to make it easier for cashier to scan and he literally told me that all the items needed to be placed on the belt...oh really?? Then why is there a big sign on the end of every checkout stand that says "LEAVE HEAVY ITEMS IN THE CART"....please re-train your staff...i will also be filing a complaint with Costco Corporate. read more

All out except for one that wasnt in the area it usually is in. When I told him that I waste a lot of time looking for items he laughed. I have never felt discriminated before until coming to this costco. back story: friday my boyfriend and I came to costco using a shop card (you don't need a membership for this) because his mother gifted us one to use. mind you she does not speak english and does not drive so my boyfriend holds onto her card for safe keeping. we went in and got our groceries but we're told they were not accepting shop cards at the time so they told us to pay with our debit card and we can come back and get the receipt adjusted to where we would get refunded on the debit card and repay with the cash card. we were told this by THREE employees. the cashier, a manager present, and the man at the membership counter. fast forward to today, my boyfriend and I worked all day and came in our pajamas. my boyfriend has tattoos and wore a red hat and as soon as we walked in we got dirty looks from the employees at membership counter. the girl at the counter didn't even call us over she just pointed her finger rudely and singled w her finger for us to come over. my boyfriend explained the situation and she was hostile from the start stating that we had to go to membership pick up to speak w a supervisor. which is conflicting w what we were told friday and so the girl asked my boyfriend if he knew where that was and he replied no because we do not shop at costco only his mother does. she rolled her eyes and looked at me and asked me "do you know where membership pick up is?" I said no and she explained where it was. we were put off by this but whatever we went to membership pick up. a lady asks us if we have been helped we said no and she said she would go get someone to help us. as soon as the "manager" (i think Chasity or cathy or christy was her name idk she had very yellow fried hair and a blank stare like no one's home) comes up. she is hostile and veryyyyy micro aggressive. you can tell she didn't believe us abt what happened and thought we were trying to finesse in some way. (girl we are not trying to come up on $100 worth of organic pasta and grass fed butter plsss ) she starts interrogating my boyfriend and asks if he has a membership and he tells her no but i have my moms card and she got extremely angry abt this claiming that we should not have this membership card and she is going to put a block on the card. I explain to her that we were told to present any card and that you can use a cash card without a membership. she proceeded to start yelling at me and arguing w me getting hostile to where I had to even tell her "you're being hostile when I just letting you know what happened please calm down". she kept rolling her eyes and looking us up and down extremely judgemental the entire time and kept talking over us when we tried to explain why we even had the card. we stopped even engaging w her at one point because she kept laughing at us trying to make us feel stupid for trying to explain the situation. we were calm the whole time and she was hostile from the moment she walked up as if my man was a gang member for wearing red and having tattoos. his tattoos are literally of jesus christ . I was so taken aback that we were being attacked for their fuck up. im a manager in retail and I know you can accommodate especially in that situation but instead she wanted to penalize us because they did wrong and she was definitely profiling my boyfriend from the moment we stepped. this company needs to do better because profiling is a serious issue and this girl was being aggressive to the max. i hope to take this up w corporate cause that behavior was insane for a manager at costco but just wanted to give everyone a warning. read more

She gave me the price as if I paid at an discounted price. I had to go to the manager and back and forth for them to get my full refund back. Worst customer service ever!
