Always an enjoyable shopping experience, except saturdays. Avoid this place on saturdays. Sundays still busy but not near as bad.

I have both a Costco and a Sam's club membership at the highest non business level. Both stores have their advantages. Costco is nice because it has a great coupon selection on items that I actually use more often. Costco is about 15 minutes away since I live in Layton and is worth the trip usually once or twice a month. Costco has the following pluses: rice, eggs, seafood, raw shrimp, unsalted butter, gas, and other little items as they are on sale or available. Costco is about the same as Sam's with meat and other baking items. Costco is lacking in: cheese, milk, baby supplies (other than diapers and wipes), and some seasonal items. I prefer Costco's customer service to Sam's and also the gas is usually cheaper at Costco as well. AMX ties with Costco seem a bit better then Sam's with Discover (I really like Discover). Costco is the one I prefer from the two but both have a 4 star rating to me. I wish that I could have a Costco/Sam's in one which would be just perfect for me. read more

I love Costco and I've been a member for 20 years. But their last offer to buy Procter & Gamble products and then get a rebate is very irritating. The coupon does not mention that you have to have a form in order to mail it in. We were at Costco yesterday and when I called and went online there was no address. The person I called said that you had to print it off which I do not have that capability. So she said we had to go back to Costco and get the form. If they do this again they could include the form in the coupon book. We don't need this hassle! read more

The Womens restroom had an unmentionable lying on the floor (yes used), the lines were long, workers less than friendly. The Godiva lady giving out samples handed me one and said "YOUR WELCOME". The fact that Costco requires their customers to wear masks during this PANDEMIC, which is STILL going on by the way, and enforcing the use of masks, makes me feel better shopping here. I have no clue what is wrong with people who refuse to wear masks. They seem to think it's an assault on their freedom, when all it is, is people protecting each other when everyone wears masks. When I wear MINE, I'm protecting YOU from possibly getting Covid-19 from me, just like when YOU wear yours, you're protecting OTHERS from getting Covid-19 from you. How hard is it to grasp that very simple concept? So what you're really saying, anti-mask morons, is that you're fine with entirely placing the responsibility on other people wearing masks and protecting YOU, but you're also perfectly fine with spreading Covid-19 to OTHER people by refusing to wear a mask? How freaking selfish is that? And oh yes, if you're so dead set against Costco's mask-wearing policy, then it's simple... DON'T SHOP AT COSTCO! Go somewhere else! Believe me, the rest of us won't miss you inconsiderate jerks at all. You might not show any symptoms, but you could be spreading the virus anyway. Have been going to Costco for years. We always thought they had the best meat ever however lately it has really gone down hill. The pork is absolutely horrid. We have purchased both the boneless and bone in and you can't even chew it. Must be old hogs from the open range. The steaks use to be the best you could buy but now they've gone down hill. You buy a package of four and they now hide a real lousy one under the sticker that you can't see. Really nice when you have guest over and find out one is nothing but tough, fat meat. Very disappointing since the new CEO took over. Profits over quality. Don't waste your money on the meat. Costco's sucked us in now is working us over. Hello Sams club. read more

I love their product selection and prices but the last time I was there I was met with weed killer fumes that made me sick. While it's great that they don't carry roundup anymore, weed and feed (2-4d) is just as bad. They store it near the entrance and the fumes are horrible. I won't be going back here until they remove this product as I don't like being sick for two days from toxic fumes. read more

A smaller Costco than what I am used to. Can not find water in gallons, only in bottles. Food court is good like any other Costco food court I been to. The $5 ready to eat chicken is a gamble. Sometimes it is extremely juicy and at times it is dry. Even the drumsticks gets dry, which is hard to do to dark meat. read more

My family and I love Costco! There's so much stuff! Electronics, clothes, appliances, oh! And food! Lots and lots of food! I'm definitely coming here to camp out during the Zombie Apocalypse! Ha ha :) The food court has great food and I love it when there are samples throughout the store. The photo lab, pharmacy and automotive matinence departments are pretty stellar too. Costco is usually cool when it comes to returns and friendly customer service. Love Costco. I totally recommend getting a membership and going. read more

Thank you to Rosie from the Food Court for the amazing customer service. After a flat tire in the middle of the road, I uber myself to Costco for brand new tires. While I waited for my tires, I went to the food court for lunch. A crappy day turn to a blissful enjoyable delicious one. Her amazing and attentive to the great customer service is making me want to get stranded in Utah more often. Los Angeles, my home, can wait. read more

I love Costco. I feel like you an find almost anything that you may want or need here. They even have a healthy section of the store with organic foods. They have clothes books food frozen food silverware and lots more. I also like that they give out samples to the customers when they come. They have my favorite turkey bacon here and the prices for berries are amazing. read more

My first time going, after getting a membership for Christmas, I used a check. When the machine rejected my check, the cashier immediately jumped to the conclusion that I had previously written a bad check there and said as much. (Which didn't make any sense, since I was a NEW member). After assuring her many times, that my check was good, she finally asked a manager, who's first conclusion was that my driver's license wasn't on file. Nothing like being accused of writing bad checks, as a "Welcome to the Club". Not impressed at all! read more

I love Costco for everything but I bought tires there recently & the prices are good but when it's time to fix a flat, rotate them etc good luck getting them to answer a phone call. I will continue shopping at Costco but will never buy tires again. read more

Gina (wears glasses) the one who gives free taste of Kiolbassa yesterday (sept. 3, 2016) was rude as F. My mom asked nicely what flavor did she get since she has no idea of what she picked. And she responded with a high pitch of voice, rude stare and rude way saying " mam, I don't know what you picked all flavors are out there. Its like indirectly saying, are you dumb? Why would you ask me you are the one who picked it. ( she said other things that I forgot which really ticked me, lost focus since we were in shock of how she said things). She could've just asked which plate did my mom picked and told us what flavor, as simple as that. The other lady there, I think she's a Filipino probably heard and seen how she treated my mom, she backed at her right away and answered our questions nicely, even told us what tastes really good. We almost left the area and left the item but because of her we took it again. Nothing against the store, it is nice and clean, its just some of the people working there that affects it. Will probably change my rating once I got a good experience when on my next visit. read more

Visited the Cell phone kiosk at this location. I was greeted by a gentleman from Sprint (Bruce?). I told him that I wanted to upgrade my Verizon phone, he proceeded to try and sell me Sprint. I told him no thanks, I want to keep Vzn. He then told me verizon was ripping me off, and it was silly for me to stay with them. Needless to say, I told him I didn't appreciate his help and left. I will not be using this location for my phone needs going forward. Beware of the tactics used at this location. read more
