Not sure if the Cote Miami location has a Michelin star like it's NYC location. Our experience here didn't meet my expectations for a Michelin restaurant. At most Korean BBQ, the server cooks the meat and we were told they would do the cooking. However, at the end our server disappeared and our kalbi was a bit burnt. To the maitre credit, he saw that, took it off the grill and asked if it was okay. We said it was okay not wanting to be a pain but meat was a bit overdone. I mentioned it at the end and our maitre did take some side dishes off our bill. We had also ordered the waygu addition but our waiter must have forgot. This turned out fine because we were all full at the end. I do want to say that the sides served here was really good. The meat was good but I can't say it was the best I've ever had. Perhaps the waygu would have changed my mind. We had a group of nine people and in order to sit us all together without the private dining, they added a 5% admin fee. Overall, an okay experience but our expectations were higher.

Cote has been on my radar FOR EVER. So I came here for their Miami Spice lunch, and wanted to try their fried chicken dish. The service was attentive. The decor was very Miami. The food was good, although I must say I did expect it to be more of a wow factor, than what I received. My score is 4.5.
12/10 experience! We had a seamless lunch here, starting with the super convenient valet right outside. The staff was incredibly welcoming & had no problem accommodating our stroller. Plus, as a parent, I was so impressed to find a changing table in the bathroom, not always a guarantee at a Michelin star spot! For a Korean BBQ restaurant, the ventilation is amazing. There was zero smoke in the air, so you don't leave smelling like the kitchen lol Everything we ate was outstanding, from the soup & salads to the full banchan spread. Having the staff cook everything at the table made it so relaxed. The drinks were also a highlight, the espresso martini & the coconut mocktail were both excellent. We will 1000% be back!
I would be the first to say I am not necessarily a steak connoisseur, but I absolutely loved every bite we had here! We went with the Butcher's Feast, and each cut of steak was absolutely delicious. We also got the Wagyu add-on for a bit of an extra charge, and honestly I would say it is worth it. I loved how you could completely customize each and every bite. All of the steak was soooo flavorful, and all of the vegetables were crunchy and flavorful. One of my favorite parts of the meal was also watching them cook the steak for us right at our table. Just tell them what kind of cook you want on your steak, and they will take care of the rest. As far as the approachability of this restaurant, I found it very welcoming and a really great hospitality team. Having never tried a Michelin Star restaurant before, I was worried I would be out of my element but I felt very comfortable here. They tell you how to make your bites of vegetables and recommend different flavor combinations to try. This is an AMAZING place to come on a special occasion, and the price of the meal reflects the high quality of the aged steak, and the attention to detail on each dish. Highly recommend the Butcher's Feast and a trip to come visit this restaurant.
4.5/5 stars rounded ups Came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. We've been to other Michelin stars and service was overall good but felt quite rushed. This is also Miami where ppl linger so it felt off. Plus we didn't see our main server David for most of our meal but everyone who rotated in was nice... some more charismatic than others. Did the butchers feast with the Wagyu add on (so worth it!) and everything was good. The Wagyu was so buttery and soft! The egg soufflé is amazing, wish the server told us how to eat all the accoutrements but when we asked we were walked through it. Drinks were solid - old fashioned, the gold standard were nice and boozy and the logo ice was a nice touch. Vibe was good and would go back for that Wagyu and soufflé alone.
What stands out most about COTE Korean Steakhouse is the experience. Incredible service, amazing food, and great vibes all around. I love AYCE Korean BBQ, but having everything cooked perfectly for you hits differently. No leaving smelling like smoke --just enjoying every bite. Definitely somewhere I'd come back to. Drinks: Lychee Martini -- one was plenty for my lightweight self, but so good. Food: We did the tasting menu (highly recommend) with the A5 add-on. The Sendai Wagyu was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Highlights: ** Oysters with uni to start -- creamy and rich Korean "bacon" (smoked pork belly, pickled jalapeño, Korean mustard) -- fatty goodness; I could've eaten just this Unlimited sides, all delicious (because yes, that matters) Egg soufflé -- perfectly fluffy Tofu soup -- easily could've had five bowls Vanilla soft serve with soy sauce caramel -- unexpected and amazing Bonus: They accommodated for my gluten free friend! Come hungry, leave happy. Definitely a must-try.
I came here for happy hour the other day, since I noticed the bar when I came here the first time for dinner. It's from 5-7pm at the bar as soon as you walk through the doors. There are no chairs, so please note that this is a stand up happy hour. The menu has a great selection of $8.88 cocktails, wine, and bites. There is also a shrimp stuffed chicken sandwich (what?? And yumm!) and the best dessert ever - the famous Cote soft serve. The Casanova's cocktail was beautiful and tasty, and the Korean chicken nuggets are a must get! The sandwich was creative and had nice authentic flavors with pickled vegetables on the side. I highly recommend the bar for a nice happy hour or for a drink before or after your meal!
Usually come to happy hour here which is great but this time we were able to snag a table last minute. I wouldn't recommend this as it's a tough reservation to get last minute but you can always try. Atmosphere is a bit louder than average with music playing. It's lively I always enjoy it. Anyways, we wanted to try a couple cuts of beef and a side so we tried the hangar steak and the filet mignon. They cook for you so you don't have to worry about ruining your steak and you'll get it exactly how you want. The filet was super tender, great quality. And was perfect when cooked rare/med rare since it's so tender. A+ The hangar steak was a big more marbled and thus we opted to have it cooked medium. This steak was also good, with a bit more of an iron/meaty flavor. I'll give it a B. For our side we ordered the COTE Bibimbap which I'd describe like a moist rice with some veggies and an egg mixed in. It was good I'd give it a A-. Great service as you'd expect as well. Great for a special occasion or if you feel like splurging. Enjoy!
Absolutely unreal. The service was amazing, everyone wanted to help and they were all so nice. The meat was such good quality, and the sides were such a nice addition! The short rib literally tasted like dessert, best steak I've ever had. It was cool, dark, and lively. Highly recommend!!
Cote continues to be one of my favorite happy hour spots, and this visit was no exception. We ordered the chicken sandwich, lobster and shrimp fritters, chicken nuggets, and the Mynt cocktail, which is their take on an Old Fashioned. The Mynt is spectacular and has become my go-to drink every time I visit. The chicken nuggets remain one of the most reliable items on the menu. Crispy, flavorful, and impossible to regret ordering. This was my first time trying the lobster and shrimp fritters, and they absolutely delivered. They were packed with flavor and disappeared from the plate quickly. The biggest surprise was the chicken sandwich - first time ordering it. Wow. It came out piping hot from the kitchen, so definitely give it a minute to cool down before diving in. I added some of the sauce that comes with the chicken nuggets for an extra kick, and it took the sandwich to another level. Pickled veggies and cabbage on the side are also fantastic. The vibe is always one of the highlights at Cote. Great music, energy, and an overall fun atmosphere at the bar without feeling overwhelming. Service was excellent as well. Special shoutout to our bartender, Vlad, who took great care of us throughout the evening. Good food, great drinks, good vibes, and excellent service. What more can you ask for? Looking forward to next time as always.
This place is amazing! If you like KBB (Korean BBQ) this needs to be added to your list of places to try and near the top. Place is an experience with everything from the ambience, service, and of course the food. Plenty of options and definitely will go back to try more. Started with a wedge salad which may have been the greatest wedge salad I ever had. Wife and I did the butchers feast which was. Perfect sampling of meats and was more than enough food. All in all, will definitely be going back anytime we are in Miami.
Great food and service! Our 1st time here and was lunch super delicious! We had the wedge salad which is the best we've had and would def come back just for it. Then we did the Butchers Feast for $82pp and it very yummy, the chefs choice of 4 meats were on point and all the sides were delicious and more than enough for us both! The service was great, they explained the meats background and grilled for us, everyone was super helpful and kind. We will def be back
As a self proclaimed korean bbq expert, I must say, COTE exceeded and continues to surpass my expectations, high as they were. I have now dined in 3 times, 2 of which we went with the pre-selected Butcher's Feast, and the third most recently, we felt adventurous and went a-la-carte. First, the atmosphere and vibe was impeccable. Ambience is definitely 10/10. Next, service. This was excellent. 12/10. The entire staff was attentive, and most importantly, perfectly grilled our selection of steaks. On our most recent outing, the waitress overheard we were celebrating so offered complementary shots! She also saw how much we LOVED the COTE salt, and gave us 2 containers! Lastly, THE MEAT. Now, i've been to KBBQ approximately 145 times in my life, ranging from AYCE to extremely high quality in my hometown of Los Angeles (looking at you Quarters!), and COTE definitely held its own. With the Butchers Feast and added the steak tartare, which was absolutely worth it. The Feast is what it sounds like, more than enough to satisfy two people. Comes with 2 stews with rice that are actually stews and not flavored powered in water like most korean restaurants in Miami. The banchan (side dishes) were also included, as were 2 bowls of rice, a bone broth, and we ended with their House special soy sauce- caramel ice cream. If you decide to go a-la-carte like we did recently, the stews and the eggs do not accompany the meal, but honestly, the ability to choose your favorite cuts of meat, in my eyes, overshadow what you lose with the stews. Bone broth and ice cream are still included complimentary. Overall, COTE (pronounced COAT) exceeded the expectations of a korean barbecue aficionado. And if you are in the mood for a little treat, I highly recommend! A perk is also walking around the Design District after your meal because believe me, you will want to get in a few extra steps! read more
This was my first visit and it sure did not disappoint! We had a reservation and started with some nice champagne at the bar to open our appetite to the amazing meal we were going to have! We let our server make the food selections and he sure delivered. It was a lot of food and we left stuffed! We had the Legend of the Seven Seas, Steak and Eggs, Caviar, Steak Omakase, Wagyu, their sides and we wrapped up with something simple but packed of flavor, the vanilla ice cream with caramel soy sauce! Definitely a great experience that has to be done at least once in a lifetime. Thank you for a great dining experience. read more
What an incredible place. I've been to COTE a couple times now and it really never misses and is always well worth the price. The food is on point from the appetizers to the Korean barbecue itself. Everything on the menu is delectable. The service is a 100 out of 10 every single time and on our most recent visit we were treated so incredibly well. Ambience is awesome as well and truly adds to the experience. I love COTE in both Miami and NYC - keep doing what you're doing, you're absolutely killing it. read more

Hands down the best Korean BBQ experience in Miami. The food was incredible, we ordered the Butcher's Cut and every piece of meat was absolute perfection. The sides were just as impressive and complemented the meats beautifully. The service is what really took it over the top, everyone was super attentive, helpful, and made us feel taken care of from start to finish. If you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, add COTE Miami to your list! Located in the Miami Design District, COTE Miami is a Korean Steakhouse that offers a large menu selection of different meats, seafood, appetizers and the best of all: the "Butcher's Feast"! This truly is a feast with 4 different cuts of USDA Prime and American Wagyu Beef and a number of Korean sides, you will definitely leave the restaurant very full. This is a great way to enjoy a little bit of everything. My favorite side was the egg souffle, it's simple yet so memorable! The vanilla soft serve with soy sauce caramel was very tasty and a great way to end the meal. The restaurant is dark and intimate. You walk in to a hallway to check-in at the host stand. When you walk further in, you'll reach the (very busy) circular bar and seating is around. Service was very, very good. The servers were very knowledgeable with the menu and offered some great recommendations! They explain all the meats, season it with some salt at the table and even cook the meat on the open grill for you. Usually when there is a 20% gratuity automatically added to your bill, the servers just do the minimum because it doesn't matter if they give mediocre or great service, they are still getting the 20% tip. This is not the case at COTE Miami! The servers go above and beyond and care about your experience. They also received One Michelin Star in 2024!! This place is definitely worth a try for a good meal, service and experience!! read more
COTE Miami is the perfect high-end restaurant for that special occasion with really good food. This place offers a strong menu with lots of meat and drink options. There is a full bar and a great Miami vibe! My wife and I came here for her birthday, and we had a great time and really enjoyed the food. We each went for the Butcher's Feast meal. For drinks we went for the Frosé (Rosé wine, Campari, Aperol, grapefeuit and lemon) and the Escape (Roku gin, Luxardo Maraschino, Vita coconut water, pineapple and lemon). They only offer home made ice cream for dessert (vanilla with caramel topping). Everything was tasty and filling, and the service was superb! COTE Miami is located in the middle of Miami's Design District, which is busy with quote a few stores and other estaurants around. Beware: There is a lot of traffic and a large paid parking garage nearby. We paid.$3 for 2 hours. Overall, 100% recommended. read more

Came here for a friend's birthday. This place is pretty good meat selections. First time eating hanger steak man was it flavorful. We ordered the Butchers feast which was 78$/person. That included hanger steak (delicious), dry aged ribeye (delicious), I think filet mignon (whatever), and galbi (good). The banchans were pretty good definitely some stuff I've never seen before as a banchan. The egg soufflé pretty good. The vanilla ice cream with soy sauce interesting. The only thing I would say that was annoying was that we could only get one serving of soup spicy/not spicy per table (your table would have to finish one in order to get another one). We had a party of 6. Each person was paying 78$ so it would make sense if each person got their own serving of tofu soup. All in all I would definitely come here again to try their other meat selections. read more
I have heard the hype so one day when I was in town on business and saw there was an open reservation for lunch I jumped on it. I've been wanting to try a Korean steakhouse for a while now so this was it. We had to go with the Butchers Feast so that way we could try a little bit of everything. I had also heard about the Kimchi Wagyu "Paella" so we ordered that as well. I'm glad we got the Paella because I think overall that was my favorite. Don't get me wrong the main course was so delicious too. There were so many little accompaniments to the steak everything was so flavorful. The only thing I could have done without was the rice bowl that you put the soup in. Don't get me wrong it was good I just didn't want to fill up on that and not eat all the other items. The steak was as tender as could be. The okra that came out was incredible too, it almost had a taste of wasabi on the back end. My favorite part was they cooked everything for you so it was cooked perfectly. I would go back here again if I had the opportunity. read more

I loved the entrance to the restaurant, there is this crazy big mirrored door that leads you into the restaurant and there's pink lighting which made it very intriguing to rush into Cote. The service is phenomenal. I'm not even exaggerating...Ethan was our main server and he was incredible. Although, every server would stop at our table and assure that things were perfect. This is the first KBBQ where they cook the food for you. You don't have to move a finger what so ever. It was a party of 5 of us and we decided to order the Butcher's feast. It was so worth it! A bunch of sides come with this option such as the scallion salad (my fave), gogi cha (beef bone consommé), ban chan (pickled seasonal veggies), egg soufflé, and rice with 2 stews. Every item was delicious, there was nothing that didn't catch anyone's attention. The Gogi cha had such nice flavor, all of us at the table consumed it as if it was a shot. The Butcher's Feast had a total of 4 different USDA prime and Wagyu beef's. Every single type of meat that they cooked for us was perfect; from the flavor to the temperature that it was cooked at. I was in awe, with each bite. For dessert we had the vanilla soft serve which had a caramel like drizzle to it...it honestly reminded me of a caramel sundae from McDonald's. I wasn't mad about it though, I loved it. You've gotta check this spot out, it's an entire experience that you would not be disappointed in. A Miami spin on the extraordinary New York restaurant - Cote Miami provides the same top quality food and drink experience with a Miami vibe and experience (see the pink lighted entryway). The butchers feast remains a great value way to try some great meats, but I do recommend adding some A5 wagyu for one of the best bites in your life. The experience for groups of 8+ can be a bit weird - we had two large tables and there was actually too much space, but that is probably our fault. Service was very good and attentive, the meat was cooked nicely, and the pacing was good. read more

Stopped by for lunch during Miami spice month. The interior of this place is pretty nice but the menu is highly overpriced for what you get. However the presentation skills and the meet is pretty good, so I do recommend visit this place to just get a feel what it's like. Also it took a little while for our meats to arrive which was a bit strange. Another weird thing for Korean BBQ specifically is that there no vent hanging over the table so prepare for your clothes to smell like BBQ for the rest of the day lol read more

One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had!! We made a reservation here for a friend's birthday and COTE did not disappoint. I can't even explain how amazing the service is here. One of my friends ordered an espresso martini and our server apologized and said that their espresso machine was down so they couldn't make espresso martinis that night. No worries, she ordered wine instead. Fast forward twenty minutes and a perfect espresso martini shows up! She ran down the street to a coffee shop to get espresso just to make the martini! For food we all did the butcher's feast. Meat is portioned out and cooked for you at the table, but sides are unlimited. Everything was delicious and it was fun to be able to try everything. My absolute favorite was the scallion salad, I could eat it every day! Pro tip: valet is only $5! read more

Came here for Miami Spice but opted to do the Butcher's Feast as it's only $14 more than what they were offering for their Miami Spice Butcher's Lunch special and you get so much more food for the money. This isn't your typical Korean BBQ place, but a really upscale and modern interpretation of Korean BBQ. When the Butcher's block arrives, it doesn't seem like a lot of food, but it did fill us up especially with the Egg Souffle, kimchi and doen-jang stews, rice and various banchans. Now, is it worth the hype and the one Michelin star in NYC? Not really as in the DC area where I live, there are much better ones. But for Miami, it's good. I was a little disappointed with the American Wagyu Flatiron as there wasn't much marbling. My favorite beef was the hanger steak and Dry Aged Ribeye. Service was really good. Our server cooked all of our meats medium rare. The Egg Soufflé was really good as well as the scallion salad. Ask for their spicy ssamjang as it did provide a good spice level. Their version of Old Fashioned is spot on. I would recommend the Butcher's Feast if it's your first time as it does provide four different cuts of beef. read more

We ordered the butcher's feast. I'm not an expert on steak,but the beef was cooked to perfection, tasted amazing. I've been to 5 star restaurants steak house but Cote was the best of all. The side dishes are also very delicious . Service was outstanding. They won the Mechlin award 2025 so it's very high quality expensive dinning experience. read more

An appropriately hyped 5 star meal! Was so excited to try cote after hearing rave reviews and I was not disappointed. It was such a great meal, with amazing service and vibes. For $74 per person, you get plenty of side dishes (as you should for any kbbq meal) and while the meat doesn't look like a huge portion, was actually very filling. Every cut was so tender and loved how they cooked it for us. The steak tartare was also amazing. The dirty martini and old fashioned were excellent as well. My one small critique is that pretty much all of the side dishes besides the lettuce were pickled/vinegary. Would've loved one that was a bit different to balance it out more. All around an amazing meal that I would come back for. read more

We had a wonderful experience celebrating our anniversary here. My husband and I decided to indulge with the $225 per person steak platters, and it was well worth it. Each cut of steak was expertly prepared, and we appreciated the detailed descriptions provided with every course. The staff was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience. We highly recommend giving this place a try--especially if you're a steak enthusiast. P.S. We got the omakase steak dinner today. It is alot of food. In all about 8 ounces of meat with tons of sides. It was an incredible experience for the food menu wise. The restaurant is still one of my favorites. Although, service was not what I expected on this last visit. I could barely hear the server. Music was very loud and he was speaking too softly. My drink order took forever possibly because he never put it in. I had to ask again and that's when he went to order it. There were two servers checking the meat and one of the servers knew our order the other didn't. We had one item different due to an allergy on my part and he served my piece to my guest and I couldn't have the other one so I missed out. It was the last piece of meat so I wasn't starving but it was the best piece of meat. Not what you expect from a place like this. My favorite items are the steak and eggs (caviar) and the tuna tartare. read more

Finally made my way to Cote and enjoyed a lovely weekday lunch with my girl friends. The place was packed, yet when we all arrived we were promptly taken to our table. With a couple weeks left until Miami Spice is over, we took advantage and ordered off that menu. I was having a hard time making a decision on what to have so I asked our waiter for his recommendations, and I'm so glad I went with all his suggestions. The Waldorf salad was simple and fresh with pieces of squash and pear, candied hazelnut and honey dressing. The Limited Edition fried Chicken was divine! A mix of white and dark meat, so crispy and juicy! Perfect on its own or with the tangy sauce that comes on the side. Dessert was a scoop of vanilla soft serve ice cream with caramel sauce. And the bottle of Alsace wine paired well with the meal, first time trying this delightful white wine. I hear Cote's happy hour is great too, so need to make my way back and try that also! read more

I'll admit upfront my first time at COTE was for Miami Spice. I'm never upset at a limited menu with a reasonable price that promises a taste of a little of everything. The treat was to celebrate Dad's birthday and we are both healthy meat eaters. We enjoyed the waldorf salad and the black truffle shrimp salad, where there was a great combination of flavors and textures in each. I went for the Dol-sot Bibimbop while treating Dad to the Butcher's Lunch (an additional $25 charge for a tableside grilling of meat varieties). The bibimbop did not hit the spot, unfortunately. As my go to order in any Korean place, this one was mixed for you at the table (which is more often for flair than taste) and had gochujang added in. Too much for my taste, leaving it to mask any other flavors that might have been there. The butchers lunch came with 3 types of meat, an egg souffle, a scallion salad, lettuce for wrapping and a sauce. Off the bat you think that the amounts of meat might leave you hungry but surprisingly it did not. All 3 each had their own highlight to them, texture, flavor, etc. Dessert was a vanilla soft serve with a soy sauce caramel. While some previous Miami Spice visitors complained over the basicness, I couldn't be mad. The caramel was delicious and a fun and relevant topping, while overall it acted as a palate cleanser of sorts. I also don't know that I would have had the space for anything more. The overall restaurant was swanky in lighting, bar, and decor. The bathroom was beautifully curated in hardware and paint choices. And a solid highlight worth catching is the meat closet along the bathroom hallway, a hidden gem only those in need of a bathroom get to catch. Now why not 5 stars? The service is the kind that while you have a designated server, ALL the servers are tending to cater to the table. This could be picking up or delivering dishes, turning meat, or checking on the table. While our dedicated server was impeccable, I couldn't say the same for the others. Also had an unfortunate experience with one who couldn't seem to get past the modern fact of a woman paying for the meal. Can't say I'm sold on returning any time soon between service and authenticity of the food. Especially for Miami Spice, I'd probably give a different place a shot first. read more
If you know miami, you know Cote. If you know food in miami, you know cote. AND, if you know Korean bbq, you most likely know Cote. Cote is worth a special occasion, a little treat, a night for a great meal. The service never fails; the attentiveness of everyone in the restaurant is worth walking in the rain through the design district (as I did on this night). The food? Is worth trekking to the design district from palmetto bay (something I did NOT do but would be willing to). We got the butchers special which, for $78, each person gets 4 cuts of delicious meat, pickled delights like cauliflower, okra, and radishes, and accompaniments of rice, a kimchi stew, a veggie stew, and an egg soufflé. Plus, a nicely dressed scallion salad dish that you eat with lettuce. The meat is in trusted hands and is cooked perfectly in front of you. The third and fourth cuts are my favorite, the last one being a sweet bulgogi beef. If you have room for it, the butchers feast finishes up with a scoop of vanilla salted caramel. There's something particularly special about this simple dessert; it is perfectly sweet and the classic wooden stick, instead of maybe a sterling silver spoon, grounds you back into reality after your Michelin experience. Whatever you're thinking, Cote is worth it. read more
Second time here and really enjoyed the butcher's feast with a group of 6. I'd recommend getting the butcher's feast over the omakase in terms of price and value/experience. The omakase was a memorable food journey my first time, but it was a ton of food, about 3x cost of butcher's, and takes like 3 hours to complete. SERVICE First we all had a drink at the bar, and everyone enjoyed their cocktails. The downside was the process to get from the bar to the table was a bit confusing. When our full party arrived we had to wait awhile to get seated and ended up talking to 3 different staff to get to the table. Aside from this hiccup, service was stellar. Our main server was very attentive and charismatic. WINE In terms of wine, the list (on a tablet) is enormous and overwhelming, but the somm was great in providing some recommendations. We had a solid Syrah that rounded out the meal and was reasonably priced. FOOD We started with the steak and eggs which was a clever title for the tartare and caviar, but the bite was kina meh. But the star of the meal was amazing, the steak was cooked perfectly and most of the banchan was very tasty. The scallion salad was my favorite, and several people loved the egg souffle, which was a touch too salty for me. ALLERGIES My partner has a seafood allergy, and wasn't able to eat a handful of things. The staff were good about notifying him what had seafood, and sometimes provided substitutes like veggie broth instead of bone broth and mushrooms in lieu of galbi. I thought it was strange they didn't have substitutes for some things like the stews and souffle, since he was paying for the full butcher's feast at a Michelin restaurant. AMBIANCE Ambiance is sexy, cool, elevated, nocturnal and clubby feeling. It's a bit loud and the back of the table was very dark, but otherwise we could all generally have a conversation. Some tables around us were dressed up very nicely, and others were in jeans and t-shirt, so no real dress code. Overall the group had a good time and would return, but there's a couple things to improve on, like the bar to table transfer, and comparable substitutes for folks that have allergies/dietary restrictions that are paying for a prix fixe option. read more
COTE is easily one of my top three favorite restaurants of all time. The paella and "steak and eggs" are true standout dishes - both are absolutely insane. All of the meats and banchan were just as impressive. One thing I love: if you let your server know your budget, they'll tailor the menu to fit it. I've dined here on both low and high budgets, and I've left impressed every single time. We did the butchers feast, which is a good deal for everything you get. We added some Waygu which was incredible! We recommend the Korean Bacon, too! This is our first Michelin Star meal, and honestly you could tell by the ambience and service that this restaurant was a cut above the rest. The entire waitstaff is attentive and knowledgeable. They gave great recommendations on how to enjoy the items brought out to us. The lighting was great, and I loved the music they played! This restaurant is situated in the design district, so go sometime in the day and digest the incredible food while you look around in awe at the surrounding stores. read more
The first time I had Cote was in New York. Once I moved down to Florida, I knew I had to give this place a try. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. We did have to make a reservation. We were seated pretty quickly. The vibe and the setup of the restaurant are very similar to the one in New York as well. The menu is very similar to the one in New York. We ended up getting the Butcher's Feast. The cuts of the meats are pretty good and it comes with sides and dessert at the end. I like how the servers are attentive and they help prepare and cook the meats for the guests. We also tried a few of their cocktails. It is an experience when dining here. To be honest, I would prefer the traditional Mom and Pop Korean barbecue restaurants instead. For a 1-star Michelin, it is worth a try though, but I also expected more thought in the banchan and other dishes. The price for the Butcher's Feast is fair, but you can get better value at other Korean restaurants. Although you may not get these kinds of meats they offer here. Next time, if there is a next time, I will try the other dishes on their menu. This is a solid 3.5 stars, I ended up rounding down for the lack of originality and it could feel a little pretentious. read more
Great service! It apparently off season and we came for lunch right at opening and the crowd picked up quickly. The food was amazing, meat quality is really good. I didn't smell like food like I usually do after K-BBQ. Highly recommend - dinner is hard to get into so if you're down for lunch get there early! read more
I'll start off by saying I love going to Michelin restaurants but there's many across the US and only enough time to go to the ones that making eating enjoyable. COTE Miami definitely earned its one star Michelin accolade in terms of front of house service (Ethan the waitstaff was phenomenal) but it sadly needs to work on making sure the appetizers/ side dishes on the Butcher's Feast remain constant in quality and most importantly, floor manager Bram's (?) handling of a diner's inability to eat spicy food needs to be improved. Either place a blanket warning on the menu saying diners need to be able to tolerate medium spice to order Butcher's Feast, or learn to gracefully accommodate dietary restrictions. Ethan was my main server tonight for the Butcher's Feast and he handled all moments with the grace, poise, and skill of a Michelin-restaurant waitstaff. I also greatly appreciated Ethan's patience as I perused the menu, and his knowledge of each ingredient in the dishes. I was impressed by how he was very aware of not rushing the diner, and offered to take pauses between meats when I looked inundated by dishes. Ethan also did a great job cooking each cut medium-rare. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and his fellow waitstaff especially Juan were just as professional. For front of house service alone including Ethan, Juan, and Oky, I would have given a 5 star rating. --- Thoughts on the Butcher's Feast Beef consumme 5/5- so good I asked if they have it separately on the menu, Ethan kindly offered to ask the kitchen if he could bring me a bowl on the house which made me really feel the Michelin vibe of service... but then Bram later turned it into a surprise substitution for the two stews I couldn't eat... and I was really not really impressed by how that unexpected switcharoo happened, because it made the restaurant feel miserly, which is not the vibe a Michelin should give to a diner already not getting the full meal they paid for. A single bowl of clear broth does not substitute two bowls of spicy stew, one of which contains pork belly and the other of which is a rich vegetable stew. Frankly, I was astounded by the nerve of Bram for pulling the switcharoo and also stunned that I even had to say anything about it, not once, but multiple times. Appetizers: Fermented radish- classic done well Fermented cauliflower- have not seen cauliflower done before, slightly sweet, good Fermented radish chunks- has a bite, strong spice level, couldn't eat more than one bite Fermented kimchi- very nicely done, in house, spice level was great Egg souffle- honestly disgusting. Surprised a Michelin restaurant burns its eggs and serves it to the diner but I have videos of scraping the sides of the souffle to show charred egg and that charred taste permeated the majority of the souffle. Also extremely heavy handed with the salt. I've had way better souffles at home and in no-name Korean hole in the wall restaurants, this dish was like choking down solid burnt chunks of egg. 1/5 Wet aged hangar steak, best with the ssamjam- brings out the richness. 5/5 45 day Dry aged rib cap , try with a small piece of kimchi to cut the fat- mellow, juicy. 5/5 American wagyu flatiron - at minimal 45% Japanese - try alone or tiny bit of ssamjam Probably my least favorite, tougher gamier meat- 3/5. Galbi- sweet, classic. Paired with the daikon strips to cut through the fat. Fattiest meat of the four of course, because it's galbi. 3/5. Grilled ttokbokki - yum, palate cleanser Grilled mushroom- yum Fermented soy stew- unexpected spicy bite, includes jalapeño- the flavor blend was delicious and the zucchini was standout but I couldn't get past three bites because of my spice tolerance. Despite chugging a glass of water, my nose and eyes began watering and the experience became too unpleasant to enjoy eating either of the spicy stews. If my mouth can't take the spice, I know my stomach and guts won't be able to handle it either. Kimchi stew- less spicy than the soy stew but also much less interesting for anyone familiar with Korean cuisine - the spice level is less than the soy stew but if you've low spice tolerance, this may be painful to eat- I managed one bite . Substitution for the two stews: Korean angel hair anchovy broth with filet mignon- Delicious, could use way less salt, the anchovy base is a great flavor but overpowered by the salt; filet mignon was the dream Ice cream: vanilla ice cream with caramel- it's vanilla ice cream with caramel. Fine --- General comments: Ambience: on the darker end Music: is blasting loudly, club vibe Wait staff: Ethan, Juan, Oky phenomenal Management: Bram did a poor job handling diner food sensitivities. Did he eventually replace both stews with two dishes? Yes, but only after I advocated for myself and waited a whole extra hr if we include the time for both dishes which was not worth my time. read more

Pretty good! I suggest the easy and affordable palm court garage, it's a short walk. They also have valet throughout the area or street parking. One of the better parking locations in Miami.

They replenish without additional charge. The service at this restaurant is one of the best, if not the best I have experienced in Florida in the 21 years I've resided here.
Are all of the beef cuts for the BBQ, dry aged?
Everything is dry aged USDA Prime--top 5% of American cattle--or above, and American Wagyu (a crossbreed of Japanese Wagyu and American Black Angus). Website has a guide explaining each piece.
