We love cotton patch and eat there often but our experience tonight was lacking a few things. We stopped in on our way home from OKC. Walked in at 8:15pm and had to wait for a long time until anyone came to seat us as there wasn't even a hostess up front or even a waitress around to see us walk in. We had a party of 4. Restaurant was practically empty with only 3 other tables of customers. One was was actually leaving before we ordered our food. By the time we ordered drinks and looked over the menus and ordered, this was the most frustrating part, it was 9:25 when we got our food. I also ordered a to-go order which was given at the time of the dine in order. I ordered the mango duo with four shrimp, which had zero mango anything on it and just some type of crab sauce on the top. I didn't mention anything to the waitress about this because it wasn't that big of a deal. My daughter never got her gravy she requested with her tenders. The lemons I asked for when we first ordered our drinks didn't come until we were getting our ticket, she said they had to cut some, which apparently took over an hour. When the to-go order came the gravy wasn't the jalapeño gravy I requested but the waitress had it swapped out right away. And the second to-go meal(which was a kids meal) wasn't in the bag but they got that for us pretty quick. Over all I think the kitchen might need some help. The wait staff forget too much despite there being no other tables. Other than that we like this place. Surprisingly. Just don't expect to get in and out real quick, even when it's empty, and double check to-go orders before driving home. I'm glad I did because we live over 25 min away and I would of had an unhappy kid at home. read more

With all new franchise openings, you are going to have service bumps, because you are trying to pull from the community of unemployed to fill a high paced position, Cotton Patch is doing a great Job in Chickasha of vetting the current staff and finding the crew that fits. The food is outstanding and service is getting better, so I would say to those that have walked out because of an early first impression to come back and dine there.. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised... I do not work for or even know anyone that works there. I came in Sunday, July 5th with my family. It was me and 8 other people. We got seated quickly by our host, but when we got to our table I looked over and there was a waitress sleeping in one of the booths. After a few seconds she got up and walked away looking embarrassed. She came back and told us her name was Sky and she would be our waitress. She screwed up w few minor parts of our order, not too big of a deal. But I think sleeping on your job is extremely unprofessional and something needs to be done about it read more

Fried pickles were good and the sweet tea was delicious! I had the CFS and hubby had the cajun catfish! Super good! Waitress was Leah, attentive and very sweet. Cotton Patch Cafe made for a fun and delicious "home cooked" meal! Our food was hot and tasty, and the service couldn't have been better! The manager stopped by our table several times, and we were more than impressed with his service ideals, which reflect those of the parent company. The catfish and meatloaf were flavorful, as were the sides (the sautéed mushrooms and broccoli rice casserole being my faves!). Other reviewers found fault with the portions, but we felt they were more than adequate. As a follow-up, we enjoyed the butter cake which was was divine! I learned today that Heidi was terminated due to "a complaint" and was stunned! Every time I have dined at Cotton Patch she has gone above and beyond to make sure that my family, friends I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Never rude. Never condescending, but rather ALWAYS pleasant, hard working and with a wicked sense of humor! People can be incredibly demanding these days and I've never even seen her flustered! She CARES about your restaurant! If this is how Cotton Patch is going to treat its employees, it's truly a shame. I have no interest in spending my money at an establishment where corporate policies override common sense in the treatment of your hard working, dedicated employees, and that includes Heidi. read more

The customer service is horrible. Organization is nonexsistant. Places like this will no work and will be the next chain that will close. Steak was cooked wrong, baked potato was cold and hard, soup appeared to have been cooked then reheated in microwave but was barely warm to eat. Our waitress appeared to have to much on her mind- took long periods to get refills or extra condiments. Queso appetizer was good. Overall, not somewhere I would frequent. read more

Don't bother. There were at least 16 waitresses taking care of about 40 tables. PURE chaos. I will say your drink won't be empty long. While one person is gone to get a refill, 4 others will ask what you're drinking. When we commented on the chaos to our waitress, she encouraged us to tell the manager because it would be taken more seriously from us. The manager offered to have everyone quit checking on our table. We tried to tell her that wouldn't help any. It's all the commotion zipping around our table that was not enjoyable. I was hoping it was just so overstaffed because they just opened and would settle down eventually, but the manager said this was the norm and she actually runs MORE people in the evening. I have eaten here a few times and the food is always amazing. I love the atmosphere. My favorite is the steaks with loaded baked potato and a salad. The butter cake is out of this world. Great place to eat if you want the home cooked taste. The servers have always been courteous. read more

Food is great, but they messed up my to go orders a couple of times, once when they were not even busy. Some lady was working the expo line (yes I worked in restaurants too when I was younger) was telling off (cursing in fact) her employees loudly one evening instead of getting my food out to me. That was not cool for the employees or for me either. Other customers noticed too that were sitting at the nice bar right there. Management should never do this type of thing, airing out employees where customers can clearly hear and see this going on. Totally unprofessional and makes the customers uncomfortable too, very much so in fact. Then after ALL that waiting some other lady came over and asked what my order was as they had not even prepared it yet. I told her "this is total BS, I'm leaving!" and told her to tell the yelling lady it was all her fault, which she likely did not say to her supervisor I would bet. A lot of restaurants in Chick Town have very weak management, mostly fast food ones thought like KFC. Next time I will dine in. My ex gf always wanted the food to go, not me so much. Their food however was always good out of about 5-6 times I went there and got my food through their to go door on the south side of their building. I do not like eating off of or taking all that damn styrofoam and those plastic utensils out anyway. Our roads, rivers all around Oklahoma, and all the oceans too of course are full of that crap and I do not litter and I do not think much of people that do this either. First time here, great food, slow service. During lunch hour it took 30 minutes for a table of 10 to receive food after ordering. But when the food came out everything was AMAZING! I will definitely be coming back, just make sure you account for time. read more

Wish I could give 10 stars! A group of us have eaten here 4 times over the last few months while in Chickasha for business. The food is so great, I see more road trips in our future just for the food! Everything we order has been over-the-top fabulous. The fried green tomatoes, meatloaf, and squash casserole are to die for, and I could eat a pound of that broccoli rice casserole. Today we got dessert for the first time. The Blackberry cobbler is the best I've ever tasted! Service is great and wait staff is friendly. Road trip ahead! I need more of that! read more

Came to get dinner today and was very excited about a country cooked meal. I did not get that, instead I got "Steamed Vegetables" that were cold and hard as a rock as if they were not cooked. I ordered a 6 oz steak and it was so tough it reminded me of jerky. The shrimp were in a bed of greasy rice. The tilapia was burnt and VERY salty. The garlic mashed potatoes were undercooked. The ONLY reason this place deserves a one star review is because the fried pickles were phenomenal. But other than that I was very disappointed and will never eat here again. read more

I was happy to find a Cotton Patch although 30 or so minutes from Lawton it was worth the drive, at least the first time... tonight was a different story, waiter don't even know her name, no intro took forever to take order, ordered appetizers and got those before we got drinks, still no official order taken...halfway through the appetizers she decides to come back and actually take our main course order. Well 20 minutes later my family gets their food and I still haven't gotten mine. Mind you our waiter was not the one to bring out our food...dont know where she was...and it wasn't crazy busy. Another waiter asked me what I had ordered and went to go see about my order, 15 minutes later finally have food. Worst service ever, management took care of the ticket only after I asked to speak with her and had to explain everything over, needless to say my daughter had already finished her food and we ended up getting to go boxes.... I've been a fan of Cotton Patch for a long time. I even worked at one during college. That being said I had my first experience at a Cotton Patch Cafe in Oklahoma. By far the worst service I have ever had. There was maybe 8 tables in the whole place and 6 waiters. App was late then needed more chips. Never got those asked for more gravy and another drink. Drink cane after the meal and the gravy never showed up. No one was helpful luckily the food was good or we would have walked out. I do not recommend. read more

Yeah I get it, Your a newly opened resturant that being said your start up team for The Cotton Patch has miserabley failed this resturant. This is the most disorganized resturant I have been in period. The Bar staff has zero clue on how to make any types of drinks messy as all get up. Keep hearing some over activity person constantly yelling for a runner, yelling at his kitchen staff, good way to shut a kitchen down. Needs alot of work to better serve the customer. Spent $70.00 on a meal for four--. All you can eat catfish! Forget that! I got 3 French fries that was billed as a "bed of fries" and they were cold. The fish was wonderful! But they were out of tartar sauce. Plus, our server was less than adequate. No iced water refills, couldn't remember anything we asked for, and we had to wait 15 minutes for a second helping of fish ( the original order has only 2 small pieces). I'm disappointed we spent 11/2 hours there and $70.00 for that. The service has to be addressed. They won't be open long at this rate! read more

My wife and I stopped there on Saturday evening about 830. Understand that the Cotton Patch is within a mile of the Chickasha Sports Complex (Softball, Baseball & Soccer), and this weekend the park was full of families and athletes. We were seated quickly to a dirty table. Our drinks arrived in a timely manner and that was the last we saw our waitress for at least 30 minutes. It was chaos, and people were leaving by the droves, literally walking out. A table near us had waited over an hour and a half for two steaks with baked potatoes that still ended up getting sent back. Our appetizer showed up around 40 minutes after we ordered it, and it was cold. My wife salad arrived about 10 minutes later and looked like it was filled with the leftovers they found on the cutting board. The waitress had tears in her eyes as she brought it. The manager who looked disheveled, stressed and like she should be busting tables not managing was running from table to table dealing with complaints of undercooked food, long wait times and foreign objects in food (I am not making this up). Eventually at about the one hour mark our dinners arrive and we finally get a refill on our drinks. My catfish platter consisted of two delicious pieces of fish, about a dozen cold fries and a small bowl of cold dried out yellow tinted noodles that were described as Mac and cheese. It was a wreck. Bless their hearts, I get having surges and getting behind but the ballpark has been there for years, they should be used to it. The issue lays in the kitchen staff. All of the complaints were food related, cold, late, wrong, raw, etc. The manager was overwhelmed and undertrained. I have eaten at the Cotton Patch in Ardmore, which is also near a huge ballpark and we had great service and great food, this is not a chain issue, it is a Chickasha issue. The entire staff was unprofessional and just looked miserable from the host that seated us, our waitress, the manager, and whomever was responsible for busting tables, there was food all over the place, it looked like a tornado had just went through. It sucks that they failed so miserably but the good thing is the InterUrban less than a block away is squared away and can handle crowds and couples equally. read more

My husband was in town for 3 weeks for work, staying across the street. I came down a few times during the week and the whole last week and we ate here a total of 4 times. The first time was great. Good steak, awesome fried pickles. The second time wasn't as good, but wasn't horrible. His steak was really fatty and my pickles were a little burnt. Fourth about the same.. The last time however was horrible. We got seated right away, it was about 3 so not busy at all. Waited for 10 minutes for anyone to come over and take our drink order. Waited another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive. We have be there for 20 minutes by now and already knew what we wanted but she said I'll be right back to take tour order. Finally came back about another 10 minutes to take our order. We wanted an app and I ordered a soup with my order to come before food arrived. Our drinks were needing to be filled and I couldn't find our waitress so I asked a lady if she could find our lady or get us more tea. She looked at me like I just ruined her day by asking and said do you know what she looks like. Do u see her anywhere.. Um no or I would have asked her not you. She said she will be right over. Um no, it was over 15 mins before she came back. With our meal, the appetizer came after our meal got there and I had to ask where my soup was that she asked if I wanted it before my meal. She didn't apologize for anything. It took 45 minutes for our food to get to our table. I would understand if it was busy, but we got there at 3.. Maybe five tables total.
