When we finally were ready, I revisited Carpetworks plus a couple of other places. Carpetworks had the carpet and color we liked, for the best price (another shop had the exact same thing but would charge us thousands more). The installers did a fabulous job: super efficient and careful, managed the jenga of shuffling our furniture between rooms so the next room was always ready when the installer was ready, cleaned everything up. However, after cleaning it looks so much richer and newer. The rug no longer has its funky odor from pets and kids. The job was finished much faster than estimated, however we did find that things took longer to dry than quoted.
