Being from out of town on a limited time schedule to get the car fixed I turned to AAA for assistance and found this shop on the AAA certified auto repair listings. I decided to go with them because of their high ratings/reviews. My daughter has a 2000 Toyota Echo and she has been having problems with the brake lights staying on once the car was turned off. Each time she arrived at her destination she would have to disconnect the fuse under the dash board or her car would be dead when she returned. I called the shop when they opened this morning, explained the situation, and was asked to drop the car off to be inspected. When I arrived Alex is the one who greeted me, remembered the conversation we had on the phone earlier. After the paperwork was completed he explained the process, the estimated cost for that specific issue but also made sure that I was aware the cost would be different if that wasn't the issue and the diagnostic showed something different. I let Alex know I was staying at the hotel down the street, which was a little over 3 miles away, and would be walking to/from the shop. When he heard the situation he offered to drop me off/pick me up but I declined... it's a beautiful day outside plus it would give me time to talk on the phone with my kiddos. I was on my walk back with less than 10 min to my destination when he called stating my car was fixed and ready to be picked up. He explained that the issue in question looked like it had a fairly new part and only needed to be adjusted properly; once they did it the problem resolved. When I got back to the shop I was greeted by Whitney and to my surprise the invoice read $0.00. He did not try to charge me for a new part, or upsell anything. As it turns out, my son who is not mechanically inclined did change the part about 9 months prior and the issue has been happening since then, so my daughter inherited the issue when she got the car. If you need work honest work done on your car at a reasonable price, look no further because Sav-Mor Auto Clinic is the shop to go!!! Thank you again :)

Our car had been having some problems like not starting after we had been out using it for a while…read more We took it to Autozone and the man helping us said our battery was fully charged and recommended going to Ray Bradford's to have our car checked out further. He explained how to get there and I remembered seeing it before. Every time I've driven by it, there's been tons of cars out front so I figured it must be good. We decided to follow his advice. We pulled in to Ray Bradford Automotive and the first thing we encountered was where do we park? There's a small parking lot out front, but it was full. Luckily, we were able to park across the street in the BYU lot because you don't need a permit after 4 pm and it happened to be 4:06. We walked in to the lobby (which has 2 comfy leather sofa recliners, a big screen tv, a water filter thing where you can get a drink, magazines, lots of interesting decor) and the car man, who we later found out was Ray, the owner for 30 years, helped us out. He was very nice and efficient. We left our car overnight because he said he'd be able to check it out more in the morning. This place is in such a convenient location, walkable from home, which is really handy when your car is in the shop. It's just a block south from BYU. The next day, today, we waited for a phone call and didn't hear anything. We decided to call in the afternoon and they said our car was ready. We went to pick it up and Ray told us what they had done (cleaned out an area where the fuel wasn't able to get through) and said he wasn't going to charge us anything. He pointed to our son and said, "You've got bills to pay right there." That was unexpected and so kind of him! Thanks Ray. He said if our car was still having any trouble to bring it back to him. We will definitely be back whenever we need to get our car fixed. We had a great experience here. They had our car ready to go in the parking lot for us. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a personal, honest experience at an auto shop.

Not only were they half the price quoted to me from the VW dealership, their work was fast and thorough. They clearly know their stuff. They found a few other problems while under the hood, recommended the repairs I really should make, and those I should consider soon, all without any pressure. It was easy to trust that they are in this business because they love what they do. It shows. My car runs like new now. I had a fantastic drive home to LA, and the next time my car needs serviced, I will seriously consider heading back up to Utah to see these guys and get the work done. Action Transmission was just about a block of our total drive into their driveway! It was getting close to closing time. The next day the serpentine belt and A/C belt were fixed and our 1999 Honda Accord, (my Baby) was on the road again! Thank you for advising us on the oil leak also. We always go to Action Transmission for service on all of our vehicles. All of the staff here have the "Utah Attitude"! They care about their customers and are always willing to answer our questions. About a year ago-and-a-half ago, my truck's transmission blew up. Without getting into a bunch of…read moremechanical details, transmission fluid spewed into my entire coolant system as well. I had the radiator and replaced and flushed by a different shop than Action. Action then replaced my transmission. After driving the remanufactured transmission they installed, it failed. Without question, they honored their warranty and replaced it with another one free of charge. Not only did they do this, they wanted to make dang sure it didn't happen to me again, and one of the points of failure they thought could've been the radiator that other shop (not affiliated with them) claimed they flushed. I warrantied out the radiator through the other shop, and Again, at their own expense, they installed a new one for me. I am extremely grateful for action, and the good-heartedness of them.
