I can't express in words how wonderful MY LIFE IS NOW. I am in IOP, Intensive Out Patient Recovery Program. I am in groups Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:30pm. We process all day. And I see my very understanding, therapist once a week. Im am 83 days today, Clean & Sober = sober-minded. They are teaching me Not to Use or Drink. I didn't realize what I was doing by ruining my Nueotransmitters in my brain. And building such unhealthy Pathways in my brain. The Addiction is also numbing the pain. At the end of the day (about a year later) we DID receive some benefits from having advocates…read more But the PROCESs is why i am rating low. 1) purposely delay meetings, multiple extension requests. 2) the frequent excuses are that they are having to review multiple cases, are busy..etc. 3) meeting with the judge: Just before the case began, (30 minutes before i faced the judge!) this team was working on ANOTHER case!!!then they scrambled and did not know ALOt of the information about my child. I regretted having to get to this point and feeling like my team let me down by being so disorganized, unprepared, after so long of gathering my information. We trusted them and they just added another month of fees for themselves without fully preparing. I had asked them what can i do to prepare for the case and they told me it would be fine. But when the judge asked me questions i was so nervous I forgot a lot of things. They could have prepared ME better too.
