We came in to celebrate my sister's birthday since she wanted a spot to eat and play trivia. The service was good throughout our couple of hours there, even with our table needing attention multiple times as everyone ordered at different times. We tried the spicy cheese curds, which I really enjoyed--though I didn't realize how spicy they were until the heat hit afterward! The pulled pork was tender and full of flavor. Fun visit after the Georgetown 4th of July Parade. Tried the Fried Balonne Melt..... so good... and not at all expensive. Elvis would have liked it too and he was a big fan of that type sandwich. Even with 2 Big Ass fans working it was somewhat warm mid-afternoon but the conversations were good and the beers were cold. Big crowd inside. Plenty of room outside at covered picnic type tables. Loads of parking. Huge beer and cider selection . Big food selection. I prefer a printed menu but they only have scan to digital display on your phone. Service was great. Our bartender was Haley. She was sweet and friendly and knowledgeable on the food and beer menu. It felt like she made an effort to get to know her customers. She was awesome. I got the pulled pork with the sweet heat BBQ. I loved it. Good sized portions. The side salad was huge. Boyfriend and I split it. I took half my sandwich home and had it for lunch the next day and it was still good. The spicy cheese curds were great. We both loved them. They seemed more spicy than the general "spicy cheese curd" but not too much, it was almost like some were hotter than others, and we loved them. Boyfriend got the chicken Philly. I had one bite and thought it was yummy. I didn't really have enough to form much more of an opinion. Location was easy to get to off I-75 as we were traveling thru the area. Great place to hang out after a GT win! The atmosphere is warehouse bar vibe with lots of TVs around with various games on. They have tall round tables with bar stools - no back chairs. There is seating at the bar with stools as well. They do have a lot of outdoor seating with picnic table style. You do seat yourself. The menu is a QR code on the napkin holder. We were greeted right away by a great server. Ordered cougar bait - my all time fav. They have all the country boy brews available mostly on tap. They do have selection of a few beers for sale in cans to go. The server takes your order and it goes straight to the kitchen. We ordered pretzel bites with beer cheese. The kitchen was quick. We got our app right away. I ordered the chicken barbecue flatbread. It was really good with the side of ranch to dip it in the ranch dressing his homemade. Food was pretty bad. I had a caesar salad with grilled chicken. How do you screw that up? Soggy lettuce, soggy croutons, tasteless chicken. Also had a flight of cider. They weren't terrible, but all were very sweet and were quite forgettable. Another member of the party mentioned that her burger was way overdone - cooked about 5 minutes too long, and someone else had cold chicken bites. The server was very nice, and did a good job of pulling together the order from our largish group, but wasn't very good about checking in. Visiting Kentucky from CA and Country Boy was our favorite local KY beer. Discovered it at Buccee's in a variety pack and liked it so much we visited the Omni tasting room and made the trek to the Georgetown brewery. Everything we tried on tap we loved. That being said, nothing else at the brewery was great. There were about 5 employees just standing at the bar talking, hanging out and not really doing much. Our server Leanna was really the only one I saw working hard. She was great and very friendly. Food was just ok, portion sizes were ok and prices were good. Nothing special about the presentation or quality. Got some to go beer because it's really good, but wouldn't necessarily return to this taproom. read more

You gotta appreciate a local brewing company that can have good beer and food in one place. The service is decent during a weekday with low traffic and the menu items are American style eats. Overall, I would recommend the location to anyone nearby. Their beer choices are great and depending on your preference and pallet, you can definitely find something to your liking. My only set back is that they don't have a kids menu and the food takes a bit to be made even though it was nearly empty during our visit. The good was the food (most of it) and beverage. The not great was the service and cleanliness! When our server was around she was great but I guess because only one of your party was drinking we were not as important as the tables that were. And the sad part was it was not busy, and the server even said is was very very slow compared to a normal Sunday morning. (They serve a brunch) we arrived about 1120 and the sign said seat yourself, but after attempting to sit inside we ended up outside, not much better there. We were finally able to find a mostly clean table. All of the inside tables were dirty with pieces of food and paper on them. The outside tables were about the same. We sat at the end of a table that was clean but the far end was not. Today was also very cool outside! 64 degrees no sun and windy. Heard others complaining there were no heaters turned on, and the servers wearing jackets. The bar and server stations were also not as clean as they should have been. Now for the food, the lone drinker ordered the "Papaw's Red Ale" it was a dark heavy drink with a creamy finish. The rest of the table had water. The consensus was the country boy cheeseburger was good, but also felt like it was not a quarter pound patty as advertised! The flavor was very good! Not sure about the house burger sauce as there was so little of it on the burger. We also tried the Country Dog, a 1/4 lb hotdog that was very good (wish I knew the brand) and added the hotdog sauce, aka chili, also and a toasted bun. The house made pickles are a great treat! Now the sides, the coleslaw was pretty good and has a great black pepper finish. A little light on carrot but very good. The tater tots would have been good but they were burnt and the fryer oil needs to be changed. They tots were not finished because of this! Had to ask for things from our server as she passed the table, because the lack of checking on our table. Hope when we return to try other sandwiches and adult beverages the place is clean and the food a little better! read more

Let me say this, Cougar Bait is my favorite beer. So, I knew that was going to be good. However, I was blown away by the food. The smoked wings were amazing. Cooked perfectly, and had the right amount of spice, and the meat was juicy, and tender. I then had the roast beef and beer cheese sandwich, with Cole slaw. I wasn't expecting anything great, but, I was wrong. it was absolutely delicious. Tender roast beef, and the Cole slaw was fantastic. My wife had the cubano sandwich. My Mr and I wanted to stop by a brewery nearby the area. We were coming from Slade, Kentucky (hiked the trails at Natural Bridge State Park). We saw that this place was close and dog friendly (outdoor porch only. Service dogs are allowed indoors). So we decided to check it out. Located in an industrial area. Love viewing the open field of the farms and rolling hills. This place has been open now for 4 years. The inside is so laid back and open. Safety measures are enforced. 6 foot rule and wearing masks when entering. They have a huge selection of beers! Oh my! I was shocked! From sours, pilsners, stouts, IPAs, etc... on tap. Plus their food menu looks insanely good. We didn't get to dine in due to the weather being cold outside. We had our pet Frenchie so we couldn't stay long. But will try it next time. Instead we got 2 flights (8 total) of beers: Survive Pilsner Halfway Home pale ale Uberleben German-style pilsner No Place Like Home New England IPA Black Gold porter Jelly stout Matcha Latte stout Hazelnut stout The stouts were my favorite especially the Jelly Stout that we had to get a growler to go. The Pilsner and pale ale was my next fave. Besides growlers, they do have six packs to go. I highly recommend coming here. The experience was great and can't wait to come back to dine in. read more

Great little brewery outside of Lexington with some very good beer. We grabbed some food and a country boy IPA called Cliff Hanger (some of the beer names like Cooger Bait are hilarious) which Nicole really liked, and she's got good taste so I had one too. The food portions are on the smallish side so if you are hungry it might be best to go elsewhere. The venue is open with seating indoors and out and nice bar seating too. We sat outside under their roof and enjoyed the remaining rays of sun in the evening. We are glad we visited. read more

Oh boy, the name alone draws me to country boy brewing. Images of cowboys coming in from the field makes me thirsty. They have funny names for the beers, I really like the cliff hanger ipa. The outdoor seating area was nice. There were kids and dogs and music in the background. Perfect for an evening beer. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we ate dinner there and the menu was limited, portions were somewhat small and I feel like it was too pricey for what you got. On the way back to Cincinnati from Slade, KY, my lady and I wanted to stop by a good brewery before heading home. I'd tried a few of Country Boy's brews before, so I figured they'd be a good stop, plus I saw they were dog friendly. The place itself was pretty easy to find and bigger than I had expected. Lots of socially distanced seating both inside and on the patio (dogs are only allowed outside). All COVID-19 protocols are enforced. Both the beer menu and food menu are loaded with GREAT options. The bartender was really friendly too and helped us as much as he could. My lady, our dog, and I grabbed a table outside. Though I wished the weather had been a bit better (twas a bit nipply outside) but no one can control that, and rules are rules with our dog. My lady and I decided to enjoy a couple beer flights. We had their Survive pilsner, Halfway Home pale ale, Uberleben German-style pilsner, No Place Like Home New England IPA, Black Gold porter, Jelly Stout, Matcha Latte Stout, and Hazelnut Stout. All the brews were VERY good! However, the weather wasn't on our side, so we couldn't stick around for the food, even after I scored a cool Country Boy zip-up hoodie to keep my lady warm. But we didn't leave empty handed. We also got a growler of the Jelly Stout and a bomber bottle of a Cherry Cordial stout that looked really good. The weather may not have been good, but my lady and I still enjoyed what we had, and definitely plan on going back sometime. I still wanna try their roast beef and beer cheese sandwich and my lady wants to try their hot brown flatbread. Next time, we'll make sure it's much warmer outside. read more

This location of Country Boy Brewery is awesome! Country Boy has so many delicious beers, really unique seasonal offerings, and now they even have a full kitchen! So, this is a great spot to visit to hang with friends, grab a drink, watch a game, or have dinner! Country Boy was founded by some folks with a passion for craft beer, so they're doing some really interesting, high quality, stuff. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but they offer some ciders and flavored beers that I absolutely love! We visited last night to check out some of the kitchen menu, and while we were there I had the Orange Cream Cider and the Tart Cherry Cider. Both were absolutely delicious! We also had a few options from the kitchen which were great. If you're in the Georgetown area and looking for a fun spot to check out, Country Boy is definitely it! Wow, so happy we made time to stop at Country Boy Brewing as my wife said "can we just take the Brewery with us". It is probably a good thing they are not local, it would be too tough staying on a low-carb diet at that point. They have excellent beers AND ciders, not a typical thing to find out there. I gave one of their ciders a 4.75 on Untappd, which is a SUPER high score for me... It's the Orange Cream Cider, so damn tasty. Their Double Barrel Shotgun Wedding was amazing and their Hazelnut Stout was awesome as well. Out of the 8 tasters, seven of them ranked high or better... Only one ranked a little lower, but that is just due to my not drinking coffee. Keep an eye on your local stores for this great Brewery. read more

I've had Country Boy beer before and liked it. So, when I went down to visit my friend in Kentucky I had to come here. The Georgetown location was closest so we ended up there and I'm glad we did. It's absolutely huge, with a big patio space and two bars. I like their flagship beers, but when I can get a chance to try their seasonals and their variants I jump at the chance. Fortunately, they have enough taps to accommodate both, drinking Shotgun Wedding, but trying some of their sours, which, sadly are no more. The kitchen too is nice, making good pub food. I had the roast beef and cheese sandwich, made with Nacho Bait, their blonde ale with habanero in it and with a side of au jus, making it a spicier cousin to the French dip. Since I don't get the chance to drink CBB that often I went away with a bunch of beers. read more

Great tasting beers, wonderful selection of beers, reasonably priced offerings. I met the owners and they provided me a tour of the facility extremely clean, well organized employees answered all my question.
