My sister placed an order for all of us under the name Jr at 1:37pm on Aug 10, 2025. One of the orders was for a western omlette which typically comes with ham. She asked for bacon instead and for homefries with the peppers and onions. The order she got was a western omlette with ham and a hash brown. She called 3 times before someone picked up at this point it's now 2:35pm. She explained to the woman what occurred. The woman then told her yeah we ran out of bacon this weekend so we gave you ham. My sister said I understand you ran out of bacon but I was given an order that I didn't ask for. My sister does not eat ham, and cannot eat this meal she was given. The employee then tells her "well like I said we ran out of bacon so there's nothing I can do for you" with attitude. So my sister told her "the order should've never been given to me to begin with. If there was an issue with missing ingredients then I should've been informed." A restaurant does not have the right to create what ever meal seems fit and then charge the client. If you're paid for a service, your job is to fulfill that service, not wing it and make executive decisions at someone's expense. The employee should have told person picking up the meal that there was no bacon and then they could decide whether they wanted the meal with ham, wanted to order something else, or cancel. Being that the order was placed over the phone the duty of the restaurant was to call my sister back and give notice of the situation, with solutions or different options. My sister then told the woman this was paid with a card and she would like a refund being that this was their error and no one ia going to eat the meal. The employee had the audacity to say no. They're closed. How are you closed and picking up the phone at the restaurant? Actually, how are you closed at 2:37 when your hours are to 3pm. If you can answer calls, take people's money, then you can process a refund. My sister then asked if she could at least have her name written down so management can either have the meal remade tomorrow the way it was requested or refunded. My sister was doing the job of the rude employee and was trying to look for reasonable solutions. The employee said " I mean I don't even know if they'll have bacon tomorrow like I said we ran out". My sister told her she doesn't care if there's no bacon, just a refund. My sister didn't receive the western omlette with bacon nor did she receive the home fries. She was given an entirely different order. The employee once again with an attitude said " I don't know, come tomorrow and maybe someone can help you." My sister then told her "no there's no maybe's, you can't just decide to give a customer whatever you want because you ran out of ingredients and say yeah I cant help you, or maybe someone will." The female employee then hung up the phone on my sister. This is very poor customer service and I'm highly disappointed with how they handled the matter. Management needs to train their staff on professionalism and accountability. Order accuracy is a BASIC STANDARD. Refusal to fix the mistake shows a LACK of respect for the customer's time and money and hanging up is RUDE. A business that cannot handle situations with honesty and integrity doesn't deserve to have a business or customer loyalty. read more

Love this place, food always good and the waitresses are really great. Best place for breakfast and lunch and prices are very reasonable. French onion soup is the best i ever had and i had the chicken breast smothered with onions, mushrooms, mozzarella with a balsamic glaze serve with mash potatoes for $11 bucks. read more

Stopped here on our way through PA.easy to find, plenty of parking in the back, and enter through the back door. No steps or stairs, and the layout can accommodate someone in a wheel chairs. Bathrooms are one at a time. Staff were friendly. We were seated right away and served water, coffee & hot tea. There was a party of 12 with kids so service was a bit slow. I had to ask for a refill of coffee and was not offered any more. Breakfast was delicious. I had one of the specials - eggs, sausage links and blueberry pancakes. The blueberries were big and fresh and they came with real butter. Hubby enjoyed his meal and really liked the home fries - they were sliced thin and cooked crispy. When you first walk in you should be addressed by the host immediately (not left there standing) The servers are nice but not on top of things. The older woman that runs the place is rude. No manners. If you are running a business you need to have people skills. You correspond with your customers etc. Food is not good at all. read more

I come here for breakfast at least once a month and the have the best breakfast around. The eggs are always cook perfectly and they have a good selection of breakfast meals. I come home every couple years to visit my family and friends in the area and this is probably the best place in Daleville I've found to eat out. The food was delicious I had the Ruben and Sweet Potato Fries which come with this delicious sugar cinnamon dip. The service was great and the prices are really reasonable!!! This was the first place I ate it ever since I came to PA. It was nearby to the camp I worked at and I absolutely loved it. The waitresses are super friendly, at least compared to the quality of service that I get back home in NYC. The food is also really generous in portion size and it's also quite tasteful. Place was very busy with what seemed to be a local crowd. Two waitresses were hustling the tables. Seated ourselves and waited 5 mins or so for coffee and menus. Coffee was not very tasteful but that was OK didn't order a refill so ended up paying $1.99. I ordered an omelette from the special board spinach, cheese, tomato for $6.99. My wife ordered the veggie omelette from the menus with a side of bacon. She was asked if she wanted cheese. Of course, an omelette w/o cheese is not an omelette. Food came out fair quickly for the amount of dinners. The omelettes came with toast and home fries. Both which were good. Omelette was somewhat tasteless. My omelette was missing the tomatoes which may have given it a bit more of a taste. Bill ended up being $24 plus change for 2 coffees, 2 omelettes, and a side of bacon. Never thought i would be a yelper but it had to come out today. Terrible service, was being ignored and then recieved a hair in my plate of food after a hour of waiting. Gave it back and didnt even receive an apology. She goes and makes me another plate and brings me back another plate with hair. TWICE how is that possible. And still no apology after that. read more

When we pulled up we thought we may have come to the wrong place as it looked like a construction supply from the stone facade. Upon entering the aroma of coffee mixed with grease filled my nostrils. We were quickly seated and served of beverages. The coffee was par for your average run of the mill diner and the OJ was delicious. One of my buddies had an omelet roasted peppers and mozzarella and the other an egg white omelet, both were very satisfied. I, on the other hand, had the "country boy" which was 3 eggs cooked any way, bacon, 2 pancakes, home fries, and a choice of sausage or ham...imho it wasn't too good. I know everything I ordered is supposed to be greasy but this was too greasy. Service was good. This business recently reopened around the corner from its previous location. We are truly glad to see it back up and running as it is a great local place to grab breakfast, lunch and dinner. I really like this cafe/restaurant/diner. I've been here a few times with my family and also a couple of friends. It's interesting the outside front of it, looks more like a store than actually what it is; that's because of the ridiculous fence that was put up by the owner of the property on the opposite side of the fence put up. When the fence was first put up, there was an explanation about the fence and it just goes to show you, that people can be vicious when it comes to money and business. I have given this cafe/restaurant/diner 4 stars because of the layout, rear entrance and parking lot, but the staff is super friendly and the food is consistent and delicious. They definitely shine with breakfast and lunch, and I haven't been there for dinner yet. I'll be sure to add to my review once I eat dinner there. Stopped here looking for some lunch. Viewed the menu and decided to try it. Started off well with some great homemade soup. Then went on to have a BLT. I ordered the Double BLT, and the other two with me ordered the single BLT. They either gave me a single, or it was just the same as the singles my friends got. The toast on all three sandwiches was over cooked, and made it hard to eat. It kind of tears up the roof of your mouth. I had a super free blueberry turnover for dessert, and it was excellent. Another order one of the large chocolate chip cookies, but it was only so-so. Too dry, and seemingly made with too much flour. Not at all chewy. Got crumbs all over when we tried to eat it. Waitress did off to explain anything on the menu, or suggest anything. I probably won't return. read more

I've had a breakfast there and a dinner. Seating can be tough to get at times, which is typical of a small diner. If you were there for breakfast do yourself a favor and order the ham. It is delicious and monstrous in size. It claims on the menu to be Amish ham, and I believe that this is probably true. Portions and sizes of all the meals are very hearty. In the evening when I was there I did order the prime rib and it came out exactly as ordered, medium rare. It even quaintly comes with a glass of wine. Staff is always very friendly and attentive and comes and checks on you often without being annoying. Highly recommend, but realize you're going into a diner not a five-star restaurant. read more

Newly renovated food was great & plentiful. Good prices, friendly staff. Great menu! Fast service. Had lunch with old friends & stayed 2 hrs. & staff did not mind. Has a big deck which I assume will have tables in summer. Also looks like they will have an outside ice cream stand. Parking may be a problem when the summer visitors come. Busy for this little town so they must be doing something right because word gets around ! I plan on going back again with other friends & also have a date again there with the people I was with!
