This is often our Sunday go to brunch place. The restaurant has all Hispanic help Hispanic cooks, Hispanic waitresses, Hispanic cleaners and they do a marvelous job. Everything in this restaurant that I've ever ordered is top-notch and prepared exactly the way I want it and I'm fussy My wife's omelettes are always terrific And the help in this place is always energetic happy and very helpful. I stop in this location every couple months for breakfast, being its down the street from my office. Never had an issue here. Coffee is good. Food comes out hot and tasty and the ladies working here always very friendly. I HAD another go to place for breakfast after a short Saturday work shift, but this place takes the cake. It's 100% worth the drive to come here from my house as well. The portions are GIGANTIC and the prices are comparable to any other spot. The food was absolutely great, and had us saying wow the whole meal through. The staff was friendly and quick even with the smaller dining room being almost 3/4 full. I have fond memories of the Bier Stube and I'm glad I'll be able to make new ones here. A long time patron of this restaurant. The foods great and the service unmatched. I've noticed that since the recent price increase on the menu, there has been a drop in customers. I have stopped going as often as I'd like, due to the price increase. I'm not saying that the food is not worth it, but trying to give a generous tip to those who truly make this place what it is, is getting harder. Personally, I would rather have the old prices, but, with smaller portion sizes. Yes, it's great to get a big bang for your buck, but I don't need that much food. I've watched people leave after their meal with quite a bit of food left on the plate. I don't know how others feel about this, but it seems like the restaurant is taking a hit on customers, but their staff is going to feel the brunt of it. If going back to old pricing is not something that's available, how about...half size portions! With prices to match. My wife and I would go for breakfast 4 or 5 times a month. Now it's down to two. Overall, I'd hate to see the staff have to take the hit over less patrons. Like I said, it's the staff that makes this place what it is. Breakfast is our main menu item. Great breakfast and good service. Only one complaint. The suspended ceiling in the restaurant is terribly stained. It could be from a roof leak or the AC system. A few of the tiles are sagging to a point that someday they will fall on top of your guests. The ceiling air diffusers are dirty, rusted and appear to be original to the place. My family and I came in for "brunch" and it seemed packed but we were greeted right away and the Hostess right away had brought my son an ice pack since he had just sprained it in a soccer game. The place offers German food so wanted to try some things. I ordered the German sausage skillet w hash browns and eggs very good. Also had to try the cheese blintzes topped w warm black cherries wow they were tasty too Hubby ordered the schnitzel it was so tender and nice breading. I had the country fried steak breakfast with two scrambled eggs. The steak was delicious. My eggs were all butter. My daughter had a Mickey Mouse pancake that was good. I found out about them because where I normally go for breakfast was short staffed and the wait was long so I left and goggled other restaurants and their business came up. Klaus country kitchen is a small breakfast place with a vert friendly staff.  I ate at the counter top but there was about 10 other tables, no booths. My obe criticism is that the tables are packed too tightly.  The bathroom was also poorly laid out if you have to use it.  It is clearly a local place, in a strip mall.  There was tons of locals where I was sitting.  Everyone knew each other's name.   The coffee was good and seemed to be brewed in batches.  The sweetener and creamers were prepackaged which is average.  They did have cloth napkins which was a nice touch.   Their biscuits and gravy are made from scratch.  A full order is 3 biscuits which is a lot!  The biscuits were fresh and the gravy was solid.  Good traditional flavor.  The eggs and sausage were also good.   Tldr solid food for a reasonable price.  Friendly staff with lots of locals.  Big was good. read more

This is my son's favorite breakfast spot and I wanted my fiancé to try it. As usual it was crowded but that's ok, that means good food! I ordered my breakfast and told the server I wanted ONE... ONE biscuit on the side with some gravy. The fiancé ordered the Country breakfast? And asked if he could not have the ham and sub sausage patties. Sure. Sure. No problem. When the food came it was a FULL order of biscuits and gravy and seeing I just had surgery there was NO way I was going to be able to eat all of that! That's why I ordered ONE biscuit! ONE! The food was great however when we got the bill it was larger than expected. extra charge for getting rid of the ham and substituting the Pattie's, and almost $9 for a full order of biscuits and gravy that went in the garbage! We had a wonderful breakfast here while meeting up with relatives we haven't seen in a while. We all had something different; everyone seemed to really enjoy their food. I had eggs and a yummy sausage and great pancakes; my daughter had the blintzes with the sour cherries. This place makes you realize that you have been settling for mediocre food most breakfast places. I don't know how they do it but everything tastes so good. I went for breakfast (it was quite a long haul but well worth it) and had the Triple Play, which comes with 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, 1 sausage link, a half of a Belgian waffle, and 2 pieces of French toast. Even the coffee tasted great. I asked for my eggs scrambled well as some places undercook them. I am willing to risk tough dry eggs but these were perfect! Thoroughly cooked and still fluffy and not dry at all. The sausage was a nice sized link and tasted like fresh homemade. The French toast was made with a substantial piece of bread and the waffle was crisp on the outside but sweet and fluffy on the inside. They served it all with a bit of softened whipped butter and the most buttery tasting syrup I have ever had. This place will not disappoint! read more

I am a big fan of Potato pancakes so I was excited to return here for a breakfast after many years without eating their food. Boo hoo! The potato pancakes are very heavy and greasy. I think if they had been drained or something, it could have maybe saved them but I would not order them again. I also ordered fruit instead of the hash browns which came with my breakfast as I had the half order of potato pancakes coming. Apparently they went back to the 1970's to get the fruit, I have not seen "fruit" like that in decades. It was a half a canned peach, a spoonful of canned pineapple, something else, maybe apple sauce and a thin slice of unripe cantaloupe. This was an upgrade? The eggs, English muffin and turkey sausage were fine. The oj was lowish grade sortof institutional juice and the coffee was bitter, some of the worst restaurant coffee I have had in a while. Now I remember why we hadn't been back in so long. It's crowded, the food isn't very good and there are way better places in the area. read more

In all fairness, I did not read any reviews, just decided based on rating to check this place out. I passed it up because I didn't expect it to be located in such an off place. The hashbrowns, biscuts and gravy and the breakfast schnitzel are all phenomenal but...... gosh this place is crazy. Pelts on the walls, lotsa kitsch. The first time we went, our waitress was obviously mentally ill, like having a break from reality mentally ill. She actually was going in and out of a strange southern accent, picture Brittney Spears right before she shaved her head. She was touching people and making googly eyes at my then toddler and my husband. Then she interrupted our conversation about our day at the beach with".....I went to the beach once....." This is a great little find in the SW burbs that is otherwise loaded with big chains on every corner. Finding a small independent place was a GREAT find. Our food was very good as was our service.
