    Mad Onion Burger and rings
    Chuck W.

Had the triple onion burger. The onions worked well with a great burger. Much better burger than I was expecting! The onion rings what better than normal as well. Excellent if your not looking for a fancy meal.

I lived in the area for 20+ years, this is a place that I always wanted to go but I had young kids and could never fit it into my schedule. Now that my kids are grown and have their own thing, my wife & I are loving all the free Friday nights. Our friends, the husband plays in a band that plays locally. They call us up and say, wanna see Bob play at Country Corner? Sure! We pull up and park in the back. Waking in, it reminds me of the pub in American Werewolf in London. It's filled with locals enjoying beers at the bar and pub food. The beer board was a little confusing, they had numbers matching with descriptions. It was loud in the pub so I tell the bartender, #4! It had a long description but I knew it was Stella. Stella is too weak. I grab my beer and Bob and the band starts rockin'. They do a cover of a Van Morrison song, we're all in the zone, its a fun night. Country Corner, I'm glad to finally meetcha!

Writing this review solely for Olivia the bartender. She had to tend to the whole bar, over 25 people here with only 1 bar back. She KICKED ass. She was smiley and so sweet. 10/10 customer service. She deserves a raise!!!!

Great wings. All the appetizers I've had here are very good. They also have a variety of craft beers. It seems like they are constantly rotating the styles & brands of beer. They have a giant chalk board that has a number next to the description for easy ordering. If you want to sit there & crush Bud Lights (which isn't a bad thing) this isn't your place but if you like craft beer & apps in a college bar atmosphere you might enjoy yourself here.

Wings!!!! You gotta try them !!!

Tony from Tap&Barrel (another awesome place to check out for great draft beer) sent us here and we were absolutely satisfied with the food and the service super friendly and lay back. Delicious wings !!!! Really really good!!! And the burger with the onion rings ..oh myy!! Too good!! And of course great beers!! And the cherry on the top is the happy hour prices!! Definitely we'll go back !!!!

I'm here every weekend and i love it!! Love the manager and the entire staff. Great place to hang out with friends and grab a drink. Nothing but good vibes at the country corner

    Nice selection!

Absolutely love this bar! Great laid back atmosphere, the regulars are always nice and the beer is mostly local. There is live music which is always a cool thing to check out with really unique and local bands. What I love about this place is that it's a nice size place with tables to sit at and large U shape bar that can fit about 15-20 people all the way around. The bartenders are always super nice and down to earth. They offer happy hour and a full variety menu. The food there is really great as well. You can bring the kids in for lunch or go out with the gang for dinner. For nights without live music they have a jukebox that isn't that expensive and 2 TV's by the bar to flick on whatever sports you wanna watch. Great local land mark and I would certainly recommend stopping in for a beer! P.s. This is for Ben- my favorite is definitely the chicken parm sandwich!!

We were a group of four but the table seemed like it was meant for six or even eight. The dining room is very spacious and they even have a private back room for events and parties, which looked to be buffet style from what I could see. The bar and counter area was really long. Plenty of space to dine and watch from any angle. There's even a back patio next to the parking area where you can toss the beanbag and play some outdoor games. Serving mainly bar food and casual dining options here. The menu online is very different from what we were given. Think sandwiches and wraps. With a small selection of entrees like grilled shrimp and steak (generous portion) or burgers. Started with the French Onion Soup as it was a cool evening and I wanted something warm for starters. It was quite salty and it did have plenty of onions. Meh Hubby got the steak and shrimp I mentioned before, generous portion on the steak. My son got the steak tips with mashed potatoes. He did enjoy that. My daughter opted for the grilled cheese with bacon and a side of fries which was actually on the kids menu. Not found on the regular menu presented. I had the French Dip (meat was very chewy and the dip was actually more of the onion soup!) This came with a side of fries but I asked to change it to tater tots since it was an option. They were a little mushy, breaking down with each stab of the fork. So afterwards I realized we didn't get the wings or the burgers they claim to be the best in town, but we noticed the other patrons got wraps and wings. Looked quite saucy. Next time.

We read a recent review where someone proclaimed the owner to be nasty & unfriendly (sure, I am paraphrasing). Those types of reviews are generally emotionally charged and written by plebs I find. More on that toward the end. Pulling up to a rather unassuming east end Long Island small shopping plaza drenched in rain; opening the door, you are taken back to a semi rustic and dim interior. Perfectly elegant in its bucolic charm- with nice lounge music playing. It is a sit where one likes atmosphere. This is meant with the utmost of respect and candour. We were greeted kindly by the proprietoress (Jacqueline), and handed pleasantly robust binders with the wine list and food. Deciding to treat this in the more European café type, we had glasses and charcuterie. I, the Sagrantino, and her the Kerner. Jacqueline was vocally pleased with our interesting choices. The night drew on, more wine ensued, more food, multiple conversations, and I completed reading through each page and wine choice...finding much to be recognised and appreciated (Kirwan, Moric, Georg Breuer to name but a few) At the end of the night, I asked Jacqueline to pick an appropriate nightcap. She not only delivered, but gave us a wonderful story including the provenance and her experiences - ultimately, the word genius came up more than once. To wit, there was nothing here but an exceptional experience with a like-minded wine enthusiast. I felt welcomed and in the frith of old kin. Nasty, belligerent, dullard atmosphere- indeed not. He really tried to make sure I had a good experience and invited me back to enjoy the dining room atmosphere. Because of his excellent service, I left him a 45% cash tip and told him I hoped to return. Unfortunately, the entrée was a big disappointment. I ordered the Linguine Vongole. While the pasta itself was good the kitchen had forced most of the clam shells open split. Having to guess which shellfish might make you sick really ruined the meal. Based on the entree I didn't stay for dessert. Unfortunately not being seated where I originally made a reservation for lead me to an atmosphere of rambling of a drunk sharing some pretty wild ramblings. Between the entrée issue and the drunk distractions, I skipped the rest of the meal, though I really hope the service on a return visit matches the kindness of my main waiter.

Traditionally served with pork or veal, but they do have chicken or eggplant as well! I went with the classic Weinershnitzel which is traditionally served with veal schnitzel and served with brown gravy. I had the yogurt with blueberry filling, pineapple, and grapes -- it tasted exactly as it looks, clean and simple. The caffè latte used Paramount Coffee's "The Perfect" beans; the shot was dark and strong at first, but once mixed it became smooth with a slight bitterness. The chicken Caesar salad bun with onion rings had a simple, healthy flavor but the portion was a bit small. Banana foster was more like a dessert than coffee, with a strong cinnamon note -- the banana flavor was subtle due to caramelization. You can add espresso if you want. Downsides: despite the name, it's not a good place to study. A lot of people come to eat, talk, hang out, and play games, so it's not quiet. Price-wise, coffee and drinks are reasonably priced, and milk swaps or small customizations aren't heavily charged, but food portions feel small for the price. They have a restroom, are wheelchair friendly, and they mentioned they own a roaster nearby and plan to start roasting their own beans soon. Overall, a solid spot with good vibes -- just not for quiet studying.
