We had taken our dog there for 13yrs, on 6/20 we had to say goodbye. They were just so nice and understanding. All through his care we never felt taken advantage of or made to feel like we needed to do whatever it was to give our dog a good life which he did have. 13.5 is a long time for a large breed dog and we owe a lot to them for keeping him around as long. I'm going to be very honest, if I could not give this place a star and leave a review I wouldn't and they might even delete my review. County line vet has been our choice for our animals for several years. Last week our cat collapsed at home, we were frantic we didn't know what to do or where the closest ER vet was because we had never had to use one before. We called county line and the lady at the desk was so rude yelling at me telling me my cat needs oxygen they have no staff and I needed to go somewhere else. I asked where to go she gave me two places. I called both places one place I was on hold for a few minutes and I hung up. ( my cat is literally struggling to breath right now) my boyfriend and I start calling places and every place said the same thing not enough staff. We said we are taking him to County line bc it's OUR VET! The people we TRUSTED to take care of our babies! The lady was so annoyed when we walked in I'm literally crying and begging her to help us, literally begging. A vet comes from the back and sweetly asked what was wrong I could barely form words. She takes my cat back to give him oxygen. Not one person is in the lobby. While we are waiting the lady was like "well did you try hickory er", I said "yes but they couldn't get to the phone so I hung up and everyone else said they had no staff. I said I'm sorry mam but he couldn't breathe I didn't know what to do" she calls while we are waiting comes back and in the snottiest tone says "yea they will take you I just called them" She honestly is lucky I didn't go after her. I was trying to keep calm for my cat. I wouldn't treat my worst enemy the way she treated us. Our vet comes in and she was leaning towards putting him down WITH NO OTHER INFO then he needed a cardiologist and kept saying it didn't look good. She kind of laughed and was like there really isn't nothing I can do here. Ok we understood that but we are not laughing our world just shattered and we have no idea why? We go to leave to take him to the er, as we leave the lady at the front desk was really smug and super happy we had to pay $150 for the visit. I will NEVER take my pets there again. Our cat has heart failure he is only 3. We took him to an amazing cardiologist and he is thriving and alive not one thanks to this place or their staff. I wish I knew the lady's name at the front desk to mention how awful she was. Our vet name was Dr. Katharine Alden. She will never touch our babies again. read more

Sadly this place has gone downhill since the pandemic. They still do curbside care after two years, you sit in the car they take your dog inside then they call you with the diagnosis , also the payment over the phone. It is so cold and unfeeling!! Get over it and open the doors like a normal office now. It is insane that this is still their procedure, they do not run on time, they are rude on the phone. It is not the same place I remember. BEWARE: I have been going to County Line for many years and been through techs who were rude and uncaring but I stayed because they were convenient and close by. The straw that broke it all came in the past few weeks. One of my dogs is very sick. He has been seen many times at this office. He is currently being treated by a homeopathic vet online for less invasive treatment because of his age and illness. I called County Line last week wanting his urine to be tested for protein levels and they told me they had to see him before they could run a test. I didn't want anything done other than his urine to put through a machine but they refused. The receptionist Samantha I think is her name, (they go through techs like crazy which tells you a lot) told me it was the law that the have to exam a pet once a year. Okay, that couldn't be more untrue but I get it - they just wanted the exam fee and saw an golden opportunity to lie about it being a law. When I asked her to show me the law, she got extremely rude and kept talking over me asking "so when do you want to come in?" I told her several times I wanted to talk with a vet and she said the 'office manager' would get back to me. Office Manager Bill, who works "virtually' who nobody has ever seen. She hung up on me when I insisted on speaking with a vet and today I get a letter from virtual Bill stating that County Line will no longer be able to retain me as a client. He cited my 'dissatisfaction and displeasure" So instead of calling me to find out WHY I was not happy, they chose to 'fire' me as a client, or rather fire my animals. Without even a spec of concern for my sick dog. I have never been to a more uncaring and unprofessional vet practice in all my years. This practice will try to up-sell you any chance they get and then get agitated when you question prices or don't do exactly every test or medication they tell you to. If there were a star rating system, it would be below 100, way below. Stay away from County Line Vet I have heard many horror stories about them recently. Like a friend being forced to wait in her car for an hour with her dog she was putting down. WHO DOES THAT?? Curbside pet care is inhumane enough let alone making someone wait in their car like that. Do yourself and your pets a favor and find another practice. Compassion and concern are not County Line Veterinary Hospital's main interest, it appears money is. read more

I have had all of my 5 dogs treated by Dr. Heitzman and Dr. Harvey at County Line. Recently our Simba had emergency surgery and Dr. Heitzman was amazing, as usual. Earlier in the month, Dr. Harvey did a terrific job with the cancer surgery for our Baxter. Our dogs have had a number of serious health issues, so we rely heavily so much on County LIne's excellent diagnostic capabilities, and kindness. The care at County Line is very affordable - thank goodness! I want to particularly mention vet tech Nicole, who is the most capable, smart and friendly vet tech I have ever known. There's a negative review here that is completely contrary to every experience I have ever had at County Line. We've had 12 dogs in 3 different states, so we've had a lot of experience (not all good, sadly), and we strongly recommend County Line to everyone! read more

I'm grateful for the kindness and professionalism this veterinary hospital showed us and our sick cat who was suffering. We had an emergency and they whisked us right in with no appointment and had never met us before. I don't know what we would've done if they hadn't. As soon as I saw Dr. Heitzman, I sensed she was a nurturing presence and I felt relieved because we didn't know this place and they didn't know us. Although this appt. was curbside, due to the virus, we were treated very pleasantly. My cat has a very curly claw that had grown into her pad. I was too nervous to cut myself. My old vet would insist on shots before seeing my pets, strictly indoor, so we don't do vaccines!! I didn't want that. County Line Vet charged a first time check up and nails!!! Loved that. My cat is 16 years old. I also have 2 more cats & dog that I will now move to County Line. After many years at my old vet, It stinks I didn't try this sooner. I can't wait to see the inside and meet the staff properly. Thank you for making this experience pleasant during a tough time. I gave 4 stars only because I was very limited to what I could review. I had taken my cats to a large veterinary hospital in Horsham. I was happy with the doctor I dealt with, but appointments weren't available many times. Their fees became exorbitant, so I searched for a new doctor. I also didn't like that when my cats needed blood drawn, the techs would take the cat in a back room and do it themselves. I want a DOCTOR to take care of my pets in my presence. How I wish I had found Dr. Heitzman sooner! Caring, gentle, sweet, considerate, patient, intelligent...Every attribute you'd hope for in a veterinarian is what you'll get with this doctor. Her staff is just as wonderful as she is. Appointments are easy to make. Unlike other veterinarians in this area who order test after test and then ask you for $200 on every visit there like its nothing, Dr. Heitzman never does that. We recently moved to the area and my cat got super sick very quickly. Off of the great reviews we decided to take him to County Line. Dr. Harvey is amazing. We unfortunately found out that we have a very sick Kitty! She is compassionate but still gives all the information so you can make the best decision for your family! Incredibly friendly staff. Clean, happy, relaxing atmosphere. Vet techs are incredibly knowledgeable and lovingly tender. Primary vet is incredibly intelligent, attentive, and thorough. Comfort of pet and owner seem paramount to her. She's acutely aware how expensive procedures can be and is upfront about cost and how payment is rendered, but not without emphasizing the importance of reasonable care. I'm highly disappointed and disgusted with my experience here. My dog had an allergic reaction one night and I paid an emergency fee to bring him in - the receptionist, Nicole, gave me attitude because it was late at night. I was worried for my dogs life and I was treated like trash on the street and laughed at. She is RUDE and horrible. And she also gave me expired pills for my dog. DO NOT USE this vet. Really awesome, caring staff. My dog was pretty anxious about his vaccinations/blood draw, but everyone was totally patient and completely understanding. It made for a very easy visit. Dr. Harvey tested him for Heartworm/Lyme/Ehr/ANA while we waited. By the end of the appointment he was licking as many faces as possible. read more

I have now had four cats treated by Dr. Heitzman and her wonderful staff. The first cat was older and ill when he was treated. He usually became anxious and scared at other places; but then again so did I. When he arrived he stayed calm and seemed to want to explore. I stayed calm as well. He was slowly dying of kidney disease and the staff treated us with such respect and empathy. Dr. Heitzman offered alternatives but also did not insist on costly measures/tests. After his passing we acquired three cats and continue to use this wonderful place. The office is always clean and does not have a typical pet smell. Appointments are promptly kept. The staff is helpful and always CALM even when my three new cats act up! They all really love animals and are willing to go the extra mile for them. I would highly recommend. read more
