Came here for dinner and I was so disappointed. Place was small and not crowded. We got combo #3 for $80 something. 1lbs of king crab legs and 3/4lbs of head off shrimp. I also added a pound of muscles. The bag came out and I was excited but as soon as I opened the bag and saw the king crab I already knew I was going to be disappointed. The crab was so rubbery and it had no flavor at all. The shrimp wasn't too bad but it was definitely overcooked a little. The shrimp tasted better than the crab. The corn was the only good thing in the bag. The muscle came in a different bag because they didn't put that order in. But the muscle was good. They didn't bring out no scissors or crab crackers for us. We had to ask them for it. This is the first place that I've been to where I had to ask for crackers and scissors. I was not sure what to think when we walked in. It is a small hole in the wall in a random shopping center we had never been to. The waiter greeted us immediately and took our orders pretty quickly. The first bucket he brought out was incorrect so had to wait a bit for our order. Not that long though. The food was VERY seasoned. It was mostly good. Somehow the potatoes were bland but thats ok. We will most likely go back. The only thing we disliked is they don't leave the bucket for discard. It's a bit smaller, and one waitress but she was fantastic, pleasant and nice even though she had several tables. She checked on us a couple of times too. We had the lobster roll which in my opinion was better than the one in Fairfield and of course the crab in a bag with the garlic butter sauce on the side, we loved it! The food tasted good but thats about as good as it gets. Our waitress/hostess seems like she'd rather be anywhere but there. There were a couple of times we tried to get her attention but she was too busy on her phone. There was even a point where 2 different tables were trying to get her attention to no avail. She forgot a couple things such as the scissors, a side dish, and utensils and then seemed annoyed that we would bother asking for them. The food was also quite expensive for really small portions, I ordered an order of king crab with boiled egg and potatoes, the egg and potatoes were forgotten when my crab was brought. I was really disappointed at the size of this King crab, I expected this crab to be big (since it's called king crab and its the most expensive option) however I've been to other crab places and had Snow crab that was much larger than the king crab here. I feel like I wasted my money and will most likely not return . TO GO ORDER 15% plus $10.00 reward I wasn't able to even use my $10 reward when I got to restaurant to pick up I mentioned the online services wasn't working right. The waitress and waiter REFUSED to credit me $10.00 for my reward or the 15% discount. I love the franchise, but they're all a little bit different. My favorite one is the one in San Leandro, California because it has more flavor selection. However, whenever I'm in the area, I will come to this one because I know that the food is consistently good. The service is attentive because you're very close to the register. I came to BagOCrab on a Monday night and to my surprise there were a few people there. Just by this I knew it was good. The server gave us paper menus because the online menu doesn't work to send in orders. I ordered a pound of clams and a pound of shrimp with medium spice level and atomic sauce which is all of their spices. The server then comes with the bibs, lemons, salt and peppers, and gloves (which not many cajun places give out). I usually get a medium spice level when I go to places like this and this one was a bit spicier than I expected, so keep this in mind when ordering. I thought the shrimp was cooked perfectly and super easy to peel. It was a good price and delicious. Overall, I was pleased with my visit and will be visiting again very soon. read more

Found this little gem after shopping at the outlets and surprisingly good. We ordered a crab/shrimp combo with cajun in mild. Being a 1st time here I played it safe on the seasoning. And guess what, it was yummy! Flavorful not just spiced up or covered in heat. Also ordered: garlic bread, side salad and rice. Located in a shopping plaza you'll easily find parking. I have gone to this location previously and never noticed a problem. However, I ordered dinner to go last night thru the app. We ordered a pound each of the mussels, clams, and head on shrimp. When adding the mussels in the app, I indicated my choice of sauce and heat level. In the comment section, we requested an extra side of sauce, which we did get, However, they must have misunderstood because the mussels came with no sauce. That wasn't a big deal. What was quite concerning was that we can visibly see the amount of mussels in a "1lb" order.. the bag looked very scarce. We literally counted 13 mussels and even went as far as weighing it out on my digital scale. Now, I am fully aware that some weight is lost during the cooking process, but cmon! We got 10 Oz of mussels... at the those prices, we were definitely not happy about that. I didn't even bother to weigh the rest because they were covered in sauce, so who knows if they are weighed pur properly. We enjoyed our meal, and I get times are tough, but to skimp out on the orders is not ok. Lord knows how many orders dont get the full weight. I think we should be getting what we pay for.
