Great location very close to the airport, but far enough away that you're not directly under incoming planes. We had an early morning flight so we wanted to be somewhere close. But also with some stuff around it. This was a good compromise. I dropped off the car the night before our flight and was able to walk back in about 20 minutes. The rooms are nicely appointed. We stayed in a room with a couple queen beds, there was plenty of room for all five of us, with one of the kiddos sleeping on the floor. They had a nice hot tub and pool for everybody to hang out in, and while we didn't get to use the exercise room, as we left it 5:30 in the morning, it looked nice when we walked by. Everyone here was friendly and very helpful in getting us checked in and checked out. I know, this is definitely a place we would stay again in the future. read more

Stayed here for one night after having landed very late at O'Hare. It was a decent place to crash. The reception area is large and there was one staff person on hand and maybe a handyman. The room was standard Courtyard, and very clean and tidy. Parking is not free but they comped us due to the late night. Can't complain about the stay. read more

Not a great hotel. Paid parking (most hotels near the airport are this way) They're doing construction so finding the entrance is confusing. Our room was next to the highway and it was loud. You could hear the cars all night. Noisy neighbors. Random teenagers wandering the parking lot in groups late into the night. Doesn't feel safe/great staying here. AC was mehhhh, I stayed during a heatwave but still. The bed was comfy enough. Shower water was hot. Those are the only 2 positives I can really say about the hotel. Came in late and left early. My only complaint was the noise from 294, oh and the ongoing construction on 294 around 3AM. There were 6-8 highway trucks with yellow lights flashing into my room. I realize this isn't the fault of the hotel. They are doing a refresh of the hotel. I hope it includes heavier drapes (not shear!) to muffle the sound and distraction from the highway . So heads up, ask for a room that doesn't face the highway. The highway is LiTERALLY on the other side of the parking lot. This was the worst nights sleep I've ever experienced in a hotel. It's a standard Courtyard, price and points requirements are fairly low compared to most Marriott properties in the O'Hare area. The airport shuttle is fine (about 15 seats) and runs every 30 minutes (at the hour and half hour from the hotel to the airport) though if you're at the airport Shuttle Center you need to call in order to ensure they're coming which takes about 15 minutes (Door 2). Food & drink are fine, though there can often be a wait for check-in and food/bar service. Rooms are comfy and clean enough, not fancy but typical for a Courtyard. The on-site Bistro is fine but the best food in the area is about a 5-7 minute walk to the casino next door - good options and a very safe walk (despite recent concerns from a fellow hotel guest who lives in AL and took the hotel shuttle less than 2,000 feet due to fears about getting shot if walking in the Chicago area SMH). It's not my favorite O'Hare hotel but good if needed. I'll round up to 4 stars although I'll take the Westin down the street any day if the price is right. :) read more

How booking online, it did not indicate the extensive construction on the outside. First room was dirty. Upgraded to a suite. Manager forgot to comp the difference. Man driver bus to airport was obnoxious and over stimulating. Attempted to hold convo with him, but he just continued to talk loudly over me. It was the worst bus ride of my life. I echo some of the "less than stellar" reviews. My experiences with the Courtyard line of hotels by Marriott has been steady disappointment as far back as I can remember. I remembered the Courtyard to be a nice Marriott property, but now it's just so antiquated and dated. Marriott has done very little, or nothing at all, to bring their Courtyard properties out from the older, and extremely dated, late 80's and early 90's decor. The walls are plastered with non-matching and oddly accenting wallpaper, the drapes an off-putting off-white, no USB hook-ups anywhere, and tacky patterned carpet. This property exudes a, "they left me behind" feeling of unwanted nostalgia. I'm not a fan. Now, a super tip is that one side of this hotel faces the freeway and walking into the room, it feels like the windows are open when they're actually closed. That's how loud the room gets. So you MUST ask for a room on the opposite side of the freeway. My wife and I were both extremely exhausted from endless delays and flying, which resulted in us missing our connection, that we passed out and the noise didn't bother us. But when you're not exhausted beyond consciousness, the noise from the freeway (even with the window closed) will be noticeable to even the most oblivious and deep sleepers. The front staff was just okay, not much to say. But the front guy we had that checked us in was not helpful in answering any of our questions. Felt like he was just trying to hurry us in to get to the next guest. I'm not a fan and I would avoid. There are so many other options at this price point, even other Marriott properties. Actually, I think I will avoid Courtyard in general from Marriott's portfolio of property. read more

I was here for less than 24 hours, and mostly not actually here for those hours, so maybe I don't have enough information to fully review this Courtyard by Marriott location. But it seemed to be very nicely maintained for my purposes. My bed was big and comfy and clean. I had breakfast at their lobby bistro in the morning; my co-worker and i were very pleased with our food. I had an omelette with a salad and some lovely little potato things, and it really hit the spot. When I arrived I had a need for an energy drink. There's a cooler near the counter, and I got a can of AMP from there. It cost seven dollars. That is a lot for a can of sugar and caffeine. That seems like "these are business people so they don't care how much stuff costs" pricing. Also, if they're catering to the business crowd, they should really add some USB charging ports in the room. Mine had none. Other than that, I think this place is fine and would have no problem coming back here when I'm in the Rosemont area for business. read more

I chose this hotel because I am a Marriott Elite member and this hotel is in close proximity to O'Hare airport. I arrived close to midnight and there were no check-in spaces available so I had to walk quite a distance to check-in. When I arrived inside there were no people waiting in line to check in. I checked in and had to walk quite a distance to get to my room. I arrived to my room to see a typical Courtyard set-up but missing the sweet couch that I usually see. I was very surprised when I walked in the room to hear how loud the outside noise was from the freeway next to the hotel. I have never stayed anywhere so loud. The bed was comfortable enough. An iHome would have been nice but I ending playing music over my new iPad with good enough speakers to try to drown out the freeway noise. I received my invoice under the door in the morning and they didn't add the parking fee even though I told them at check-in that I had a car in their lot. The guy at the front desk hooked me up and gave me free parking. I ate breakfast at The Bistro which serves OK food. The service was good but the freeway noise will keep me away from here in the future. Two stars! read more

I decided to stay here using my points, for a quick night. I was so disappointed with the service from the housekeeping staff. I arrived at around 9pm on Wednesday night. We where having a get together with friends and did not feel like driving back and forth if we knew we would be drinking. I saw that they had a room using points and i was like why not. I went ahead and booked it but what occurred next I could not believe it myself. We took a lyft down to a local bar about 2 miles away. it was about 945pm, we put our DND sign on the door on the way out. We didn't return until about 3am that night. We were both exhausted since we had to be up early the next day, just not sooo early. At around 7am, we where awaken by a knock on our door. I got up and noticed there where towels by the door. It was strange but I was so tired I went back to bed. I made sure the DND sign was on the door because I know how housekeeping works and we didn't want to be bothered until we where ready ourselves. At 8:30am, someone opens the door and walks right in, knowing that we had the DND sign. I briefly opened my eyes and it was housekeeping. The lady gets nervous and throws the sign on the floor and runs out. Of course the door bangs on her way out. I was so disappointed and just decided to get up and shower. Maybe at home I rest better, the only thing is that I hate that I spent so many points just to get woken up in the morning by employees that do not know what it means DND on the door. At check out like at 10am, I brought it up to the front desk and when I said that someone knocked at 7am, she said housekeeping doesn't start until 8:30am. Well someone left towels in my front door when I didnt request them. Obviously the room number was written down incorrectly. We where offered a drink at their cafe, uh hmm okay but we where exhausted if we didn't have uninterrupted sleep maybe things would be a bit different. Why not offer me at least half my points back. While they have an airport shuttle, this Courtyard really isn't that close to the airport. If you have to spend more than 10 minutes in the shuttle (more like 20), I think you should lose any "airport" qualification. Which isn't to say that it's far enough away to be quiet. I could occasionally still hear planes taking off or landing and sometimes the hum of trucks from nearby I-294. Nice lobby with a restaurant, but there are places nearby that will deliver if you prefer. I didn't notice anything close enough for walking, other than the restaurant in the hotel next door. The "Market" in the lobby has sodas, beer, wine, sandwiches and some other stuff if you just want to take it back to your room. The room was pretty good, with a comfortable bed, clean working desk with a large flat-screen TV and a sofa for watching. Internet is free. My room on the 5th floor also had a small balcony, which was nice even if it didn't have much of a view. read more

A-ok about sums up this location - it's an older property located near the Allstate Arena and O'Hare, so you know the rooms get a good amount of churn. Rooms - recently refreshed, but very small for a suburban location. "Old school" layout with the sink outside the bathroom. Decent hairdryer and good lighting in the vanity area. Amenities - there is an on-site restaurant that serves dinner and breakfast, as well as a small 24-hour pantry. Free airport shuttle every half hour. Location - depends. If you want to be near the airport, or arena, it's great. It's not really close to much else other than the casino next door. No real restaurants within walking distance either, so you'll need a car. Sleep Quality: pretty good with caveats. I couldn't hear my neighbors and the air-con was reasonably quiet. The hotel is located on I294 and close to O'Hare so you WILL hear road/plane noise. Bring earplugs. Staff - depends. The guy who checked me in? Great - super friendly. The check out guy + shuttle driver? Not so much. I guess they don't put the A-Team on at 4am. Checked in to this hotel since it was about 100 per night cheaper than the airport Hilton. Nice lobby and fantastic desk staff. As the pictures show, the room is a little tired or dated. The bathroom and amenities are sparse. The small couch is quite comfy. The bed is not the beat. Needs a new mattress and new pillows. What I can't capture is the noise. OMG. I think the planes are taking off and landing in my room! The highway (River Road) runs right beside the hotel. With the traffic density, it's more like white noise. I think the glass is single pane. Great location right off of River Road next to the casino and just a stone's throw from O'Hare. Marriott always has nicely-maintained properties and this Courtyard was no exception. Upon arrival, we encountered our first problem--there was no place to park! They had completely run out of parking spots, so the concierge said to just park by the curb near the taxi loading zone. Seemed sketchy, but we weren't ticketed or towed, so whatever. I would venture a guess that they were booked solid for the night. When we found out that my parents had forgotten to leave us our room key, the front desk was--after a brief phonecall with the old man--accommodating in helping us. The lobby was very modern and clean. The room was satisfactory, aside from the 2nd set of blinds (the opaque ones) not closing all the way. They weren't stuck, they were just built like that. I felt that was a bit of a privacy concern; if someone REALLY wanted to, they could peer into the room from the inner courtyard and there wasn't much we could do about it. Comfy beds provided a great night's sleep. They had a little cafe selling pastries, coffee, and wake-up wraps for a price, but I don't think there was a hot complimentary breakfast of any sort. While this hotel is far from the worst I've stayed at, I wouldn't willingly return. Since so many places offer a hot breakfast and blinds that close 100%, I've no need to come back here. read more

To be transparent, I missed a connecting flight at O'Hare and was booked a room at this hotel courtesy of American Airlines. I typically stay within the Hilton brands, so I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was for an airport hotel. The hotel has a free courtesy shuttle that loops to the domestic terminals every 20-30 minutes. For the international terminal, you need to call the hotel directly to schedule pick up. The hotel is very clean and the room was well appointed. The rooms have fridges but no microwaves. Paul Mitchell products are provided. My only minor complaint was the noise level. I could definitely hear the airport and highway traffic noise, but this did not prevent me from sleeping. read more

Not sure why I see a lot of negative reviews. Just visited & I've stayed here multiple times over the years, for business travel & to visit the casino! The rooms are always clean, beds are crisp comfortable, bathroom newly renovated and the lobby always has a nice signature smell. I've never had a problem with noise, I request rooms closer to the elevator, if that makes any difference lol. And the people in the Lobby are helpful when you contact them. The lobby has a restaurant with bar and there are places to lounge and a nook to watch tv. If you want a quality place to stay by the airport or casino, this is perfect. You can walk to the casino or they have their airport transport drop you off, every 1/2 hour until 1 AM. read more

Sadly never again, I'll just go to the full service Marriott after tonight. Service was bad. I have been in the service industry so I'm pretty patient/understanding. However tonight I waited 2 hours for a burger, had undercooked brussel sprouts, and was ignored when trying to order a drink (I was on a business call and I'm sure looked rude to a waitress but would've put down the phone immediately if I was acknowledged) computer system was down so I also received my full bill (2 hour burger and all) on a hand written piece of paper. This is your typical Courtyard Marriott with about 5 floors and renovated. Flying in from O'hare, it's really close (about 2 miles away), near the Rivers Casino actually. Besides having the casino, the popular Griordano's and fashion outlet mall is nearby. I understand there's a free shuttle from the airport, but my friends and I had a car, and daily overnight parking here is $18. My friends and I didn't have any big problems except that when we called the front desk multiple times, no one would answer, so when we were in need of fresh new towels, we had to go down to the lobby to request them. And we stayed here during this past July 4th holiday weekend, and the front desk folks weren't as warm or friendly as I imagined hotel staff should be, especially to tourists, so it's not to welcoming for a first timer to Chi-town. read more

Completely outdated hotel. I come to Chicago often for business & usually stay at Embassy Suites. I decided to try out Marriott Courtyard due to the better rewards program (or so I thought). I regretted this decision immediately the moment I pulled into the parking lot. Looks gross & old from the outside, and it's right by a casino. Also, the parking lot entrance was broken, so I sat in the car trying to press the button through the open window in the rain & no one answered. Finally the gate opened & I just drive into the parking lot. Not a great start. No sign or anything. The lady who checked me in took about 10 minutes with the person ahead of me talking about random stuff about their flight tomorrow, while I stood there with all my luggage waiting. Once she got to me she was very nice, however, & check in was very easy. I mention the gate issue & she acknowledges it's an issue they're having for some time. Weird. As I'm walking through the hallways, it's reminiscent of an 80's hotel layout- the carpet is an old pattern & looks worn, the doors look old & have the old key card set up. I chose a king bed room with a couch. Terrible room layout. The TV - which is super small, outdated, and terrible picture quality - faces a wall & is bolted down so you can't move it... only swivel it. Trust me... no one wants your old crappy TV, so no idea why it'd be bolted down. If you want to watch the 10 terrible channels they offer, in bed you have to crank your head to the left. If you want to watch it from the couch (which also faces a wall, oddly), your head cranks to the left also. Just not thought out at all. The mini fridge is truly very small. I still have no idea where the pool & workout room is... front desk lady said I need to go across the courtyard???! Umm no. Not in Feb. I'm sure there's a different way to get there. I'm not very excited to see what the heck THAT looks like, honestly. Bed is very firm, pillows are flat, blanket quilt is really thin, not sound proof at all, and honestly the whole place just feels worn and old and dirty. I can see they're trying to make it look clean, but it's just so completely outdated and "used". It feels cheap & gross here. I do not recommend staying here at all. I am very unhappy I may be stuck here for an entire week for work and I am going to be calling to see if I can get out of here tomorrow, as I'm really unhappy with this choice of hotel. We were in town to attend the graduation of a family member in Tiffin Ohio. Checking the area around Tiffin, and finding absolutely nothing to do there made the decision to stay in Chicago very easy. O'Hare International airport is a quick shuttle ride away. The hotel shuttle service is convenient and quick. We never had to wait long to get transported to shopping, the train station, and back to the airport. The hotel is located in an area where you'll have access to a variety of restaurants and shopping. There is also a casino next door if you're into smoky dimly lit buildings. The hotel is top notch. For the moment we arrived, we were treated with courtesy and respect. Any and all questions that we asked were greeted with patients and courtesy. The staff is extremely knowledgeable regarding attractions and how to get to them. We had tickets for a Cubs game and wanted to know the best way to get to the stadium. We were provided with great directions and maps. The shuttle service took us to the train station, and even picked us up after the game. There is a small restaurant on site, and they make a delicious breakfast. Rory made several breakfast recommendations, and they all were home runs. He was extremely professional, and made our daily breakfast special. He even provided to go meals for us for our 4 hour drive to Ohio. They have a small fitness center with a couple treadmills and elliptical machines. The size didn't hinder our efforts to get a great work out in. It was never busy, and always clean. If you're looking for a nice place to stay that's a short train ride from the city, and a short shuttle ride from O'Hare, this is the place for you. We used this hotel for our wedding room block and were overall very happy with the service we received. There were a few issues we ran into but they were resolved rather quickly, which made it an enjoyable experience. My friends have stayed at Courtyard for conventions before and a few other friends recommended it, so it was high on my list of potential places to stay. It doesn't hurt that it's one of the cheaper hotels in the area and, at the time, offered free parking for guests. The employees were able to work with us to secure rooms at a good rate and we didn't need a crazy amount of guests to get our King Suite comped. We had to have 10 rooms booked for everyone to get the lower rate (extended Friday through Sunday) and most other places wanted 15 or more. We had a few minor setbacks but they were remedied within 24 hours. Most of it had to do with the booking website and Courtyard corporate's customer service. For example, I had estimated we'd need a certain number of King Suites or Queen/Queen rooms, so when that number had been met the website wasn't allowing guests to book additional rooms even though the hotel could accommodate it. The customer service hotline also had issues locating the correct Marriott hotel. We started working directly with this hotel via email and over their direct phone and they were able to figure things out for us. I was most impressed with their willingness to honor special requests. They were able to set us up in a suite with a balcony on the highest floor. All our guests were kept close and we were put in a room that connected to another, which made it very convenient for coordinating on the day of the wedding. They were also able to set my mom up in a handicapped accessible room with her service dog and made sure to keep out all scented toiletries as I had asked. They even went as far as to do their best to not book that particular room out a few days in advance so when it was last cleaned there was time for it to air out a bit. This meant the world to us as my mother's asthma is triggered by allergies and she's allergic to just about all scented/perfumed/fragranced items, including cleaning supplies. Though it's nestled between the expressway, a major road, another hotel and the casino, it stays pretty quiet. I arrived at this building I didn't even think it was a viable business. The rooms are like a motel six. The toilet doesn't flush unless you hold the handle down .This is not a Marriott property. How embarrassing! I realize that these are franchises but Marriott corporation needs to look into this one. Never staying here again. Wait it almost an hour for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport. Nothing good about this property. Having a Marriott name is so misleading. Do not stay here. read more

Keeping in mind my scale is: 5 = in the top 5 of whatever category the place is in 4 = really good 3 = acceptable. I'd go there again Also, I was here 6 nights so I feel like the opinions below are formed from a fairly good base of experience. This Courtyard checks a lot of boxes. It's clean and maintained, and the staff is, for the most part, friendly and helpful. I would've given it 4 stars but for a couple issues. First, the elevator. This is a 5 storey hotel, so not tall. But the elevator, while reasonably traveling between floors, for some reason (I counted) takes 1:30 to get to you when you call it from the 5th floor. At least I got some excercise walking down the stairs (which only took me about 45 seconds). Second, there is a bistro here but be advised, it's only open breakfast and dinner - starting at 5pm, and the prices are pretty ridiculous, even for a hotel restaurant. Breakfast sandwiches are $12 and orange juice is at least $3. A bottle of ice tea was $6. The same 2 people got my breakfast every morning I was there, and even after 4 days the guy behind the counter never remembered I had purchased the breakfast package and had to look me up every time. Speaking of the breakfast package, I recommend it but you need to watch the rate. When I booked I think it was 10 or 12 extra a night (which isnt bad considering bfast will run you $16), but looking at rates right now its $20 extra a night. But it looks like you can have 2 guests on the package so that would still be a big saver. Third, and the thing that really irked me, I needed to send a card and I didn't have any stamps. I was in luck, the front desk had them! She pulled out the roll and said, "That'll be $.49." Huh? I asked, "Are you really charging me for a single stamp?" "Yup!" "Well I dont have a quarter on me so I guess I'm out of luck." "That's ok, you can charge it to your room." It was late and I didn't want to launch into a debate on the customer service impact of charging an Elite Mariott awards member for 1 stamp, so I had her charge it to my room. At least they didn't charge me to slip it in the mail. TLDR: Overall I would probably stay again if I'm in this part of Chicago, but I wasnt blown away by this Courtyard. read more

I'm so glad I picked this place over the full service Marriott. Instead of a sad looking building from the 60s, this cute little place has everything you need. The lobby is very contemporary and cozy. It has a bistro that opens till 10pm. It also serves starbucks coffe 24 hours a day (iced or hot). There is a gym in house that should satisfy all but the pickiest. I checked in late, and was really starving. Since it was late, I wanted to get an order of thai sweet chili wings. It turned out that it was wing night and I got 12 wings for 6 bucks!!! They have beers and wine. The selection is decent. This is easily the best courtyard I have stayed in. Great place to recommend for any colleagues/friends that need to stay near O'Hare. Lobby is awesome, with mini work station areas with their own TVs, tons of tables with outlets & free wi-fi. They also have a great food/drink bar where you can grab a good bite without having to venture off since there is nothing really in the area. If you're looking for a good restaurant nearby I'm usually a fan of RAM Brewery & Restaurant. read more

This hotel was provided to me as I was stuck in Chicago due to United's Maintenance issues with their plane. Transport was easy (once I found it at O'Hare) to the hotel (and complimentary to boot). The lobby was fresh and modern, with a dining area inside and a small market. I liked the little check-in stands, instead of a large counter. The rest of the hotel was way dated. I mean, 80s and 90s style. The room was a standard 2 bed room, with sink outside of the main bathroom. The lighting also made it darker than it was. But the TV was nice and modern, and there was a little fridge inside as well. Since I was stuck, the front desk did provide me with some basic but necessary toiletries. They were a god send. And the shuttle starts at 4 am, so I got to the airport for my flight without any problem. The shuttle was quite comfy too. Overall, if you get stuck through United, ask to be put up here. read more

As is pretty standard for Marriott hotel's this property is well kept, clean and has friendly staff. The shuttle to/from the airport (or within 5 miles) is great and everyone is super hospitable. While I didn't spend a ton of time in the hotel, the rooms we nice and comfortable. I did have a problem on the first night - I was in a room on the 2nd floor near the highway and it was just super loud. I didn't want to move at 4am, so I called down to the front desk the next morning to see if there was a room I could move to. The front desk agent was understanding and accommodating. They moved me to the 5th floor away from the highway and I didn't have any more noise problems. While they don't include breakfast, they do have free WiFi which is always good. Great hotel if you're needing to stay near the airport. read more

This is by far the WORST Marriott Courtyard I have ever stayed in. The only advantage is that they have a shuttle from O'Hare that you can take if you are coming in late and don't need a car your first night. Bill Marriott, please let me know why on earth you insist on treating folks who have used your business so much so poorly? My reservation was on points (I was Platinum for several years, which meant I was staying 75+ nights a year in a freakin' Marriott). The wonderful staff gave me the worst room they could find, right off of the tollroad. My room rivaled the look and feel of the cheap motel room Thelma and Louise went to when Louise was, "trying to figure out what to do." There was constant traffic all night, but that's okay, I certainly didn't check in there to get sleep. Their high-speed internet is only so if you are used to using a dial-up connection. I guess I need to switch to Westin/Starwood since I will be starting up international travel again. Thanks for the heads-up. read more

My only complaint would be that the shuttle only runs every 30 minutes. Each time we tried to take it, we were never there at the right time. The rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. The front desk staff was super helpful, giving us a goodie bag for being the "guest of the day" and even loaning me a cell phone charger. This hotel helped me to believe that booking with Priceline does not mean that you are destined to sleep in a smoking room in the basement, as they asked me which floor we wanted to be on, and honored my request for a king bed, and we had a room with a balcony which was nice. We were able to book the room on Priceline for $69/night. It fit our needs nicely because we had an early flight in the morning, not much around the area, so not sure it would be worthwhile staying there while visiting Chicago. read more

We spent a weekend in Illinois for shopping and pleasure. I was able to book a room at the last minute at the courtyard. I have been traveling for over twenty years and I can honestly say my check in at the courtyard was the fastest, easiest and most pleasant I have ever experienced. Don't you hate when you have to wait a half hour to check in! The room was VERY clean. This is huge to me. So many places just have the illusion of clean, but this place was spotless! The little snack bar was nice and sufficient for our stay. The hotel pool was small, but again, it was clean and well stocked with towels. Free wi-fi, hello!!! The one area that could use improvement is parking. This place was packed, and it took some time to find parking. Other than that I would recommend this place. read more

I stayed here for two nights while I visited Chicago. Prior to checking in I viewed the website and reviews online. People mentioned a welcome bag which I never received when I arrived. The parking lot is gated and you have to pay to park here. The staff was nice but wasn't very welcoming. When I checked out they didn't mentioned how I could get out of the lot since I turned my room key in. So I had to ask and they seemed weird about giving me an exit ticket. The room was nice. The shower pressure was almost too hard. They had a mini fridge in the room which was nice. I had to go to the main lobby to search for a microwave to use though. Overall I enjoyed my stay here but it wasn't worth the money for how much it costs a night. read more

We made our reservation through a third party and there was no mention of the $18 PARKING FEE not including tax. No addition when we paid It was added when we checked in. It is ridiculous that they can't include this in the cost of the room and be up front about the fee It was a little loud but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. When I booked the room, it was clearly stated on the hotel's page as well as my invoice after purchasing that, "Enjoy a convenient Breakfast at the property for $1 per person, per night. Enjoy a convenient Dinner at the property for $1 per person, per night." Great deal, right? When checking in, I stated that I would like to purchase breakfast for my wife and myself for the next morning. The front desk Clerk basically laughed in my face when I told her about the price quoted to me. After showing here my invoice that clearly stated that price, she told me she would have to call her manager. I said "Ok, just call my room later on then and let me know". She did, and said that she was on the phone with Booking.com now, and asked that I come down to the front desk and show her where I saw this price stated. I went down there. She said she was done talking to them, and that Booking.com made a mistake. I got out my phone to pull up the invoice/price, and she was not interested in even looking at my phone. Just blew me off. Shortly thereafter I received an email from Booking.com, and long story short, they were great! Wanted to help, treated me nice, and also gave me this bit of information: "The Booking.com website is a unique platform where properties can advertise their space, and because the properties provide all facility details themselves, they're also responsible for the info presented to you." Hmmm, so Courtyard won't even honor the price that THEY were responsible for giving Booking.com. I booked that particular room to save a few bucks after seeing that price! And then to be treated as if the hotel is the victim and I'm trying to rip them off? Well, congrats Courtyard Marriott (and Miss Front-Desk-Attitude), you just earned as many negative reviews that I can possibly post today. read more
