Definitely a great place to hangout and catch up with a friend on a quiet day. The staff are awesome and very in-tune with their guests and it seems like there is a strong group of regulars that frequent the bar. I definitely can see myself becoming more active there and bringing friends along. I got a bit confused at first thinking there would be some simple food options there since it's called Spigot CAFE, but no food unless from a food truck, if one is available. Good to know!

I saw on their social page that Redstone has really stepped up their game of late. Think a new menu, lower prices, a super simplified Happy Hour (Every menu item & drink is $3 OFF), Weekly Specials, a lunch menu, and special events Trivia Tuesdays, Game Night Thursdays, and Wine & Whiskey Wednesdays. Our server Josh was great, super friendly and helpful. With the Happy Hour discount, we bought 2 Mich Lights for $3 a pop, a BLT with chips for $13. And a chicken quesadilla for $13. The BLT had quite a bit of bacon, and likewise, the quesadilla had quite a bit of chicken. We were very happy with our Happy Hour experience. Nice job reinventing yourself, Redstone.

After being dragged here once we've returned two more times and just enjoy the pure mayhem of it all. Irish-American folks and wannabees all running amok. The real acid-test of this bar was the fact that staff as well as customers are friendly and fun-loving unconditionally. Our first go-around was in the company of a local celebrity -- the drinks came fast and kept coming. Several customers ambled over to meet & greet our friend. Next visit we went without him and yet found the service swift and the atmosphere quite friendly. One in our party became rather obviously drunk -- and but for being shut-off he was not made to feel uncomfortable nor were we. Mind you, our crew is usually very well-behaved. But, hey, this place brings out the lush in all of us, I guess. On a recent afternoon we discovered there was some kind of food, roast beef with potatoes and gravy, I think. I like the huge carafe of ice water and the spicy potato chips! For my first drink, I'm having a Negroni. It is considered an apéritif. They also have an Obi Wan Negroni made with Cold Brew Infused Campari instead. For my first food item, I'm having the Cream of Mushroom soup with chicken. Cream of mushroom soup is a simple type of soup where a basic roux is thinned with creamor milk and then mushrooms or mushroom brothare added. This is delicious! It's nice and hot with a lot of shredded chicken. For my entree, I'm having the Brussels Sprout Salad made with shaved Brussels sprouts, spring mix, bacon, pomegranate drizzle, silvered almonds, shaved Parmesan and lemon vinaigrette dressing. Look at the height of this! This tastes great! I am also having a side of mushy peas. Mushy peas are a traditional British side dish of marrowfat peas that are cooked until soft and mashed into a mush.
