I recently had an experience with Couto Construction and to be quite frank they had poor communication. I found it frustrating and difficult to get the information I needed in a timely manner. The process of trying to get a response from the company was slow and cumbersome. It often took multiple calls to get a response to my inquiries, and even then the responses were often incomplete or vague. We agreed to scheduled time to meet for one of my properties and then I had to call the day of to confirm and they said that there was no estimate scheduled. This made it difficult for me to make informed decisions or to understand the status of my estimate. The person that came on site stated that they would be back the very next day to check out the roofing. We did not hear from them until days later - at which point we lost all accountability and confidence. How can I trust someone to do my roofing if they promise to show up and then completely dropped the ball and doesn't call for a few days. Additionally, the company seemed to have a lack of transparency in their communication and internal processes as well. I had two people call me to see if we could schedule some time after Couto Construction dropped the ball and I told them I went with a competitor. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the communication from this company. It made my experience working with them much more difficult and stressful than it needed to be. Hello, On Sept. 27,22, I had Couto Construction put a beautiful new roof on my home. The two gentlemen that first came to tell me about the products were very knowledgeable and nice. The production supervisor Josue Correa was charming and very helpful. He went onto the roof to look around and let me know whats what. Very knowledgeable and let me know if I had any questions, to call him. Then we have Kameron who has the patience of a saint and kept me in the Know. The five roofers who worked for ten hours are totally professional and did a great job. Now the "Big Guy", himself, Mr. Gil Couto came and introduced himself and wanted to see how the men were doing on the roof, etc. He showed up the next day to take the dumpster out of my driveway. He did a few things for me and such a humble man. We come to Jessica Furtado who has gone above and beyond to take care of warranty papers, etc. Shes an outstanding lady and one day I hope to meet her and Kameron and the Couto team. Hoping next summer to have a new deck and only Couto Construction is the company of choice. I have the nicest roof this side of the Mississippi. Thank you all for making this a nice experience. We had Couto come in to do an office renovation, turning our open-office floor plan into an individual, floor-to-ceiling office floor plan. Internally, we made a lot of jokes about construction finally being done after April but the work started the precise day they said it would start in December and is on track to finish exactly when they said it would, even considering the holidays in between. Manny & Duarte started earlier in the day than I ever expected some days (5am) and stayed for nearly 12 hours to finish what needed to be finished. Needed a new roof. The entire experience using Couto Construction from beginning to end was outstanding. From the sales rep that came out and explained everything being extremely knowledgeable, to the project management that kept me completely informed as the project progressed, to the installation team that was very professional to the follow up at the end. I had solar panels and they also handled contracting a solar company to remove and reinstall the system for me. Couto Construction was the only company that I could find would handle this for me as well.The cleanup afterwards was impeccable. I didn't find one nail or any debris after. After having my roof replaced by Couto Construction we decided to have them install new windows as well. Today Eddie Teves and his crew banged out 18 windows! What an impressive experience. I am so pleased with the entire experience! They gave me the VIP treatment! Took window treatments down including blinds even helped move my furniture. Not usually part of the project install however my husband was unable to be present to prepare for the install or during the install so they exceeded the expected agreement. We had four windows installed in our children's rooms upstairs. Eddie Teves and his helper Dana were extremely helpful and friendly, and very good at their work. Windows were installed quickly and professionally, perfectly squared and carefully sealed. Much higher quality work than our other windows. The team was careful and clean coming in and out of the house, and made sure everything was spotless before they left. Windows look great and the boys were ecstatic when they got home from school. The project manager Josue Correa contacted me earlier morning confirming the team would be at my house by 730am. They arrived and I did a quick walk thru with the team leader on where they were putting the tarps. Once that was done it was smooth sailing. I spoke with Josue a few times throughout the day and he he was very informative with the process the team were doing. This is the 2nd time I have used Couto. 1st for main house roof 4yrs ago and now the roof for garage and breezeway . I'm very happy with it. had them do our roof and they did a great job. polite friendly team of workers who worked for about 12 hours to get as much done as possible in one day. they left my yard cleaner than when they started and were very thorough. I had asked them to remove a vent in the roof but they replaced it instead, but hey it doesn't leak like it used to do whatever works! all around I found them great to work with and am glad we vose them.
