I've made my last visit to Couture Nails in Corinth. It is under new management and the procedures of sanitizing the tubs/changing the plastic liners between customers, is no more. I watched the new owner straighten the disposable plastic tub liner after one customer left, and put new, clean towels in place for the next unsuspecting customer. I didn't call him on it, as I should have, and slathered sanitizing gel on both feet, when I got to my car. It was so convenient to work, but no more. read more

Today was my 2nd time to go to this salon and I am such a fan! The staff is super nice and helpful. Tiffany is awesome!! I got the couture signature pedi today, and then Tiffany put an overlay on my nails along with gel polish. I showed her a pinterest photo and she matched it to perfection. Not impressed. Came in for a mani/pedi for a wedding (I live out of town) and some me time. The pedicurist was new and I understand the learning process. What I do not understand is leaving parafin wax all over my feet at the end of my service. They did my manicure while getting my pedicure which I do not normally have an issue with but when the technician changes I have a problem. The nails were not shaped at all and left at a slant. The new technicians leaves in the middle of my paint to talk to someone and then when I asked for my second coat gave me the 'who do you think you are' look. read more

I was in yesterday for my birthday. Salon was clean and it looked welcoming. I got dipping powder and a classic pedicure. My nails were badly shaped and when I asked the lady to redo them, I even offered to pay for her to fix them, she gave me such horrible service and even looked at me with a stink eye. To be clear, we came in on a Friday and the salon was empty. Also, your response makes it seem like I don't respect the fact that you have to honor appointments, which is not true. I would never expect you to cancel an appointment to accommodate me. I would think that a simple " I'm sorry but we are booked solid today" would have sufficed. But, she gave us no explanation, only dirty looks. My friend and I tried to get a pedicure here today but were turned away. We walked in to two people standing at front. The lady asked if I was Tiffany, I said no, and she proceeded to pull her face and give me a sour look. She then looks back at her computer screen and asks what I need. When I said we'd like to get pedicures she said I can only do one today. Mind you, the salon is literally empty save one customer. Now, if you don't do walk ins or you don't have enough techs, that's fine, just say so. But she offered no explanation as to why an empty salon was turning away $80-$100 worth of business. We said thank you and as we turned to leave my friend noticed the two people sharing a look like we were the crazy ones for coming into a nail salon....and trying to get our nails done. I've been to this salon 2x with the same tech. The first time, i was pretty happy with my nails at least as they lasted 2 1/2 weeks so I went back. The 2nd time, my nails started cracking and chipping within 4 days and I had to get my nails done again inside of 8 days which is ridiculous for Nexgen. Went there yesterday for lash extensions. I was immediately impressed with the cleanness of the spa. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Cory did an outstanding job on my lashes and was always asking if I was comfortable. My lashes are beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I'm not sure if this place has changed management, but I've noticed a huge change in service. The first time I went in they did an excellent job on my next GEN manicure and my pedicure. I came back today and couldn't believe the difference. I asked for a pedicure and French manicure. The whole process took almost 2 hours while the same person did both the pedicure and then the manicure. There were other employees there who could've completed the manicure to save time.Well the pedicure turned out fine, the manicure was the worst I have ever received. When she finished it was bright pink with white tips. When I asked if she could make it less pink she got obviously upset, cleaned off the bottom of the nails and quickly went over my nails and apparently half of my finger with a clearcoat. I asked at the desk if I could have it re-done tomorrow since I did not have the time to do it today. They reluctantly said that I could call the manager tomorrow but most likely would have to have the same lady do it since she's the one that made the money on the manicure. This place is legit. I drove in 5 hours for a doctors appointment and had two hours to spare so I found this place on Yelp with the highest reviews in the area. When I arrived it was 9:55, I checked to see what time they open and realized they were only by appointments. I called and even though they were booked Cory fit me in. It was a lovely experience. I am so happy I found this place! It is by far the best salon I have been to. First of all, the salon does not smell funky like most salons do. It is a completely stress-free environment. I walked in without an appointment, so I had to wait for a few minutes, as would be expected. But they never let me wonder when I was going to be helped. They were really good about keeping me updated. When I got in the chair, Cory was super nice and very good at her work. I told Cory that I wanted something inexpensive, low maintenance, and pretty. She was great about recommending different services and making sure I was educated on what they are able to do. I got a french manicure with gel polish and it is FLAWLESS. I love it and I have gotten so many compliments on it! Also, the instruments and environment were super clean and everything was very tidy. So, let's be honest. We all have stereotypes about salons and being talked about and feeling uncomfortable during what should be a pampering process. But the people there did not do that. When the cosmetologists talked to each other, they included their customers in the conversation. I feel like that is super rare. It had a real sense of community and I enjoyed every second of it. The price was great. It was probably about the standard price for the services, but I would have gladly shelled out much more money because the experience was so much better than at any salon I have been to. Ok, I am literally the pickiest person alive. I will find a mistake in almost anything and everything. Let's just say that Couture Nails and Spa left me astonished. They are seriously professionals at what they do, especially Cory. I've been going there for a few months now & let's just say that I have not regretted my decision. I ALWAYS call ahead to give them a heads up in case they are too busy. The few times they've been busy, I don't mind, because I can wait as long as they need and people should schedule appointments instead of complaining. They are all about customer service. Always worrying if I'm happy with the results. Cory takes her time waxing your brows, so they will be perfect. The prices are super cheap for the incredible service I get. All I have to say is that I highly recommend this place. I got my eyebrows waxed almost two weeks ago and they are still flawless. Actually, they're on fleek. I get compliments on them all the time. So I set a appointment up for my fiance to get a mani/pedi done on 3/3/16. I had told them she wanted the classic package and after sitting for over a hr which didn't bother me i go to pay and it's 85 dollars. At this point I'm trying to figure out why it went from 40 to 85 without me or her knowning. After i ask they tell me she wanted to upgrade to nexgen nails but yet they never asked her they just did it. So her nails alone cost 60 dollars and and the nail art was 20 they don't even look that great they got a different color paint on other nails and didnt fix it then cut her pinky finger open pretty good. So heres my big complaint... if I'm paying 85 freaking dollars the shit better be spot on perfect from start to finish. I could of gone and got the same thing done in Lewisville for 30 dollars and look ten times better but I chose to try this place out due to reviews. So we will not be going back and will not be referring anyone to this so called business. read more

I went to get a mani/pedi for my birthday (I had been looking forward to this for weeks). As soon as we walk in the guy who greeted us acted like we were disturbing him. (This was in the middle of the day on a weekday) They had a few customers getting pedis and he kept looking back at them, then us and didn't say anything just walked away. Then a lady came up to us and before she said anything, I let her know that if they were busy we could go somewhere else. I was not rude or had an attitude what so ever but I was limited on time. She was not very friendly. I should have just walked out the door but I reminded myself that they had really good reviews on here. I got my pedicure and it was terrible. The guy who did it, didn't cover the whole nail on several toes. When I asked him to fix my big toe, he painted over it after it was almost dry and he screwed it up even more. I just didn't say anything else about the other nails. Both technicians rushed to get my nails done and it showed. I was so disappointed. I couldn't believe they have such good ratings. I got a mani/pedi on Monday, 7/23/2018, with my guy friend. We set up an appointment for 6 pm, and showed up on time. The pedicure was great and was very relaxing, but the trouble began when the manicures were started. There was an employee shortage, meaning no one to work on our nails while getting a pedicure. Once a second person became available for a manicure, it was close to 6:30 pm. They started working on my guy friend's manicure, all the while both of our pedicures were nearly done. The first mistake made on the salon's end was working on his nails first instead of mine, because he did not require nail polish or a massage for his manicure. My toenails were in the process of being painted when another employee came over to nudge and nearly argue with my current pedicurist to let her paint while my pedicurist got started on my manicure. This was a second mistake in that it was highly unprofessional behavior. By this time it was close to 6:40-6:45pm. My manicure is supposed to last 30 mins at least. The woman doing my manicure fervently went to work on my nails, rushing through. She did not ask me about the length or shape of my nails, pulled my cuticles painfully, and lacked any form of gentleness. The massage was lackluster on my hands with little lotion being utilized. The entire manicure was less than 15 mins. My nails were painted and I sat at the dryer for about 5 minutes before being told that my nails were dry enough to go. My nails were barely dried and within walking out of the door, my nails were already scuffed and bumped. I was not provided any form of apology or discount for the salon's poor service and rude/rushing behavior. I have been here before and had good experiences, but this poor service has really made me wary of returning. read more
