Delicious donuts! My favorite donut holes! Service was fast with great ambiance. Would come here everyday!

Im here from houston came here because of reviews but man this lady had a disgusting attitude i asked if she had kolache she said ham and cheese i said ok thats fine and she said i said i dont have kolache. How am i going to guess ham and cheese what!? She didn't specify kolache or croissant. Then she kept rushing me (we were the only ones there) I couldn't even see what they had available she kept asking if I wanted a dozen donuts which i had said no already twice.. so we picked our donuts then i gave her the card and she said rudely go to the atm. I asked for what? She said take cash out. I wasnt aware of cash only maybe i missed a sign but she could of said it in another way.. i had cash with me . The whole thing was just horrible. I dont tend to put bad reviews but i NEEDED to with this place. read more

This is the kind of donut shop/ business that you want to repeatedly visit. It is very friendly and a small business where the owner takes the time to give their opinion and recommendations. They do a deal when you buy a dozen you get an extra one free, costs about $11. There also creative donuts where it's covered in bacon, fruity pebbles, corn flakes, and froot lupes. read more

Our go-to donut place, good food great service. Also a good place to buy your lotto tickets! Open 24 hours a day however it is best to buy donuts earlier in the day if you want to be sure to get your favorite. Mine are their cinnamon rolls! Also a wide variety of drinks available. read more

This has been a long time coming. But I've been coming to Covina Donuts for years and being newly reopened gives me the chance to thank them for their years of delicious donuts! Every time I enter this warm and cozy shop, I always get delightfully treated by nice smiles and excellent customer service. The family (?) that works there always brightens up my day and gets it started off right, with a nice cup of coffee. Then comes their donuts.... Oh My God... If you've never tried a good Apple Fritter...the Apple Fritter here at Covina Donuts are the most mouth watering and crispy Apple Fritter I've ever had! They are also open 24/7! Hey. one star. dont base your opinion on one visit.... anyways been here three times three different days a week in between each time... chocolate covered custard filled. pretty good! just like any doughnut you'd get anywhere.... maple bar with cream down the middle. was pretty good. the cream was a bit weird... i think i'll stray away from that honey buckwheat or just wheat?? OH MY LAWDDDDD it was terrific. it must have been fresh, came out of the whatever right before i came in! i had it and it was still warm... crunchy on the outside and all delicious on the inside.... would have been perfect with a thing of milk... coming back for sure to get it again. owners seem really nice. very polite, always, "hello how are you" "thank you, have a good evening" read more

I love apple fritters, and Covina Donuts make the absolute best! I've tried other fritters at different shops and so far, this place has what I desire when wanting a donut. The apple fritter is crispy, has a good texture, and tastes great. There's no soggy or condensation, or oil aftertaste as I have experienced with other shops. They have a cherry butterfly that is mildly good, not much cherry taste, but the same consistency as the fritter. I can never finish a whole one, they are big, but even the next day, their product tastes almost as good as if they just made it! So when you are on Grand Ave. and looking for sugary goodness, this is the place to stop. Also they sell lotto here, and from the looks of it, there have been many winners! read more

I wanted to take some time to write a review for a place that I've been going to for the past couple of years. Covina Donuts finally reopened their doors and I'm so glad they did. I love coming here and being greeted and treated like family. They have such warm customer service. Speaking of warm, the donuts are always fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. Everyone's right, The apple fritters are so good. It's huge too! Walking in this place, seemed like nothing special just like any old random donut shop but you can taste the quality in their foods. The ham and cheese was good, the chocolate glazed donut was ok, the apply fritter is a must. I have been going to this donut shop religiously for the past five years once in the morning once at night. Steve and Julie are the friendliest owners nice family. I beg to differ with the positive reviews. Ordered an apple fritter and cream cheese/raspberry croissant this morning and was VERY DISAPPOINTED. Both donuts did not taste fresh at all, more like stale. Cream cheese/raspberry croissant barely had any cream cheese and it didn't even taste like cream cheese. This donut tasted like it was sitting there for days. Apple fritter was a major disappointment. No apple's found anywhere inside the donut and taste was very minimal. I only took about 3 bites before tossing out. If this is a preview of how their other donuts are like, I'm telling you not to waste your breakfast, calories, or cravings here. TRUST. read more

I've come here multiple times and the cash only flaw is the only thing I've looked over since their donuts haven't disappointed me. However I'm hoping this is the first time it's happened (or maybe I just never looked closely the other times I came) but when I got donuts about 2 mins ago there were flies/nats inside where all the donuts were. Be warned, don't spend your money here. I tried to buy croissant sandwiches and the lady charged me $21, messed up my whole order and wouldn't fix it or refund my money. Very aggressive, pushy; not friendly or welcoming. read more

The people working here are always super friendly, not just to me, but to anyone that comes in. I've noticed that the shop seems to have a lot of the nicest regulars, always up for a conversation. There's a variety of selection, your typical donuts, and many unique others, but I always come here whenever I crave a ham & cheese. 5.0 star rating 4/24/2017 Where my fateful story begins...... It was a dark but early Sunday morning and I was on my way to visit my brother in LA. I was in such a hurry though that I totally forgot to eat breakfast prior to driving out from my house so I was kinda looking for a neat joint to grab some quality eats. Although the dilemma running through my mind was what and where I should eat because it was about 3am and I kinda figured the available options I would have to choose from would not reach such quality standards, given usually fast food or gas stations are the only spots open within such an early time frame. But with the infamous power of Yelp I came across this little gem as I was swooping down the 10 towards West Covina. Covina Donuts was definitely an establishment I'm glad to have had the pleasure of walking into. Greeted so kindly by the wonderful staff for being the only customer in the store (mind you its 3am) I asked the lovely lady across the counter what she would recommend for a quality pick me up breakfast. With that in mind she suggested their most popular breakfast croissant sandwiches with the available options of ham or sausage, & cheese + the additional option to add bacon and jalapeños were quote on quote, "the way to go." Already set with such an outstanding option considering my personal love for jalapeños, bacon, and cheese I awaited the few lingering moments of my breakfast sandwich being prepared as you smell it's ever wavering presence in the air. Set and payed out the lovely girl who was extremely kind and helpful greeted me a long farewell as I headed back on my epic journey to visit my beloved blood brother. Before setting sail I sat on the trunk of my car and took a bite into the highly anticipated sandwich for which I could not resist no further..... pure and utter bliss...... the flakey croissant goodness complemented nicely with the arrangement of piping hot cheese and crispy bacon bites, not to mention the jalapeños that brought just enough spice to tie them all together. It was after that first bite that I knew......... I will most definitely be coming back to this establishment in the near future! So all in all my side quest to quench this incorrigible hunger was satisfied thanks to Covina Donuts! I will definitely be back to try their Tiger Tail since I came to a donut shop and unfortunately didn't get any donuts haha P.S. Don't forget they are 24/7 :D read more

The girls working the front were so sweet and welcoming! Full of smiles all around. Maple Bacon bar was so delicious! Also had the ham and cheese croissant and I was so happy to see that they use Swiss cheese instead of American cheese! And they also have a ham, cheese, and egg croissant too. This is by far my favorite go to donut shop! All Their donuts are delicious with the best prices. If I could I would get one of each donut every time I stop by if my stomach was built that way. I've come here twice so far and will definitely be back for more! There's a large selection of fresh donuts to choose from, although my favorite thing has to be their French cream puffs. The cream is just the right amount of sweetness, and the pastry is light and flaky. The cashier who helped me was even sweeter than the donuts and made me feel right at home. These guys make better donuts that the famous Donut Man in Glendora. And to top it off, you won't get robbed. The Donut Man is expensive and the donuts are not that good. The chocolate chip choco twist is the best along with the coconut glazed donut. read more

I came here for my first time because my usual donut shop is closed for the holidays. I didn't like their dough on the glazed donuts as they were way too soft and not chewy whatsoever. Their maple bar was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The worker advised us to get a dozen donuts since it would be cheaper, so we glanced around not knowing what else to get. I come here once a week and the place is great. The workers are very courteous and the donuts are always fresh. The donuts are cheap and there is a large selection to choose from. As a bonus it's open 24 hours and if you a little after 9pm, the donuts are usually just coming out of the oven. read more
