They only take cash transactions.) I arrived at Donuts Galore (San Dimas) on a weekend (around 3:30PM). Parking is easy. The customer parking lot is BIG. Staff is not the most welcoming. Staff is hardworking and focused, but Staff felt very terse and business-like. Staff interaction was the low point of this visit. On ambiance, Donuts Galore (San Dimas) is clean and well-maintained. There's a few tables to sit at; however, this business' plaza felt very empty and quiet. Overall, I had a good experience at Donuts Galore (San Dimas). There's sincere effort with these donuts. I was searching for coffee near by and this hidden gem appeared. I order 6 donut holes and a small coffee my total came up to $4. This is a cash only establishment so I'm glad I had a few dollars in my purse. The donut holes were sooooo goood! Honestly the best I've had in a very long time. I normally don't even like donut holes because they taste dry sometimes but oh nooo this was different! Haven't been here in a while, but it is still one of the best little donut shops in San Dimas. The tuna sandwiches are only $10 for a large, and it is loaded with tuna! Get it with everything on it (tomatoes, pickles,onions, lettuce, oil and vinegar with salt and pepper) . The lemon jelly donuts are actually split and filled to the edges with lemon filling, not just squirted into the donut. Will have to visit soon again! read more

Been going here since I was in HS!! (Early 1980's) One the the student's parents opened it (sold long ago). One of the very, very few businesses that are there since the shopping center opened.... La Villa Kitchen, the pharmacy, the dry cleaner.... I think that's it. It's still open because the donuts are great! Surprise!, the deli sandwiches are great too!! The woman working--who I've been told has been there for 30 years--was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I simply asked for mayo on my breakfast sandwich, not because the sandwich is dry, but because I personally prefer it that way. Instead of accommodating a simple request, she responded dismissively, as if I was asking for her opinion rather than just customizing my order. To make matters worse, she later made a point to embarrass me in front of my friends. After I mentioned I had been coming here since I was young, she told my friend that she sees him often, but not me--implying I was lying or exaggerating my connection to the place. Whether I've been there last week or five years ago isn't the issue--it's the way it was said, with clear intent to belittle. This kind of treatment makes customers feel unwelcome and disrespected. If you come here, expect good sandwiches, yes--but also prepare for dirty looks, rude comments, and an unwelcoming attitude, especially if you ask questions or try to customize your order. We dropped by to grab a few glaze donut holes. It was $2 for 12 donut holes. It's a little tiny bit more than I used to pay back in SGV, but it was still pretty cheap. The donut holes were fresh and soft. The glaze was sweet and definitely a good choice if you have a sweet tooth like me. There weren't many donuts when I came around 11:30am on Monday (but it was Valentine's day). They don't have any super fancy donuts, just the basic choices. I'm biased as this donut shop is the store of my childhood/adolescence. That said, they deserve an amazing rating for being the local shop in Via Verde for multiple decades. Pretty good quality donuts and donut holes yum!!!! You need to try their sandwiches...not lying...we usually make the journey back to see them these days because of their sandwiches!! Can vouch for them all but favorite is the Jaws. Sounds silly but they have amazing ice and great tasting Diet Coke...kinda like how McDonalds has better tasting Coke/Diet Coke...if you know what I mean then you know... I've been going to this place near on 40 years. They know the regulars by name and sometimes, even your orders. Best and consistent sandwiches. Donuts are great if you don't like them too sweet. I've never been a sweet donut person and their glaze is perfect. When I lived out of state and would come back home, this is the place I would go to first...and then In N out. I have been living in Via Verde for about 7 years now. My husband and I Absolutely love coming to this place for donuts but only when The older couple, whom I assume are the owners, are there. They are kind, joyful, welcoming people. Always happy to receive us. Unfortunately, The younger woman working the counter is not. She is the most rudest person my husband and I have ever encountered. No matter how nice and polite we are to her, her spirit is plain awful. She is Very, very rude! No personality, looks like she is miserable every time we walk in there and she lacks both social and customer service skills. She is impolite and doesn't care much that we are bringing our business to this facility. She absolutely needs retraining and maybe therapy.
