    Dinner rolls

I've been many times for breakfast/lunch in the past when we do our off road rides to wickenburg but tonight my mom and I decided to swing in on our way back home after a shopping day in town and I am glad we did! Our server was a delight and so friendly and I loved seeing how busy it was it! Yall the rolls! They were so hearty and fluffy with great flavor but the smell when the basket was set down had me in a choke hold lol. I want them daily now! We shared the pot pie and it was worth it! The texture was perfect and not super thick, the chicken was white meat and was clean tasting. But the overall flavor was amazing. I wanted something filling and simple with great flavor that felt like a good homemade meal and this was it! The puff pastry on top was really good too for added texture. I told my hubby we need to shoot over for dinner because now I need to try the chili and maybe even just get the pot pie again lol

Stopped here while passing through on our way back to Vegas. Atmosphere was fun and cowboy themed. Lots of interesting decor and spaghetti westerns playing on the tv's around the restaurant. Clean location and very inviting. A bit dimly lit though so something to consider if you wear glasses. Everyone from the hostess who sat us to our waitress who served us were very friendly and welcoming. Our order was taken promptly and served with minimal wait. We had potato skins, a cheeseburger, and chicken fried steak with dinner rolls. The potato skins were alright. Plenty of toppings. The cheeseburger was ordered medium well but was still pink in the center, so served medium rare. Tasted like it was cooked on an open flame so this was good. The fries it came with were ok. Chicken fried steak was good. Served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Good flavors and the portions were good too. The only downside to our experience were the drinks. The water did not taste good and my sprite tasted like tonic water with no sugar. Reasonably priced for the amount of food we ordered and for being open so late on a Sunday night. Not sure I'd recommend it but if you like cowboy themes, friendly people and hearty meals, it's worth a try if you're in the area.

Food was amazing! Our server was amazing. The ambiance is casual. I had the club sandwich, it was toasted and lots of meat. I had it with coleslaw and put some on my sandwich. Steak quasdilla was huge and wonderful. Potato skins where so very yummy and the French dip was delectable! We really enjoyed everything about this place. Even bathroom was clean and well stocked.

Wow, call me dramatic but this is the best meal I've had in I don't know how long. Both got French dips with extra horseradish, baked beans, potato salad, and shared a lemon cream pie. Absolutely blown away at every single thing we ate. They were out of chili & cornbread but that was a blessing in disguise. Hoping to stop here on the way back from our trip. 10000000/10 , you can tell it's all homemade. Even all the pies are made in house! Service was fast and amazing, and the interior is the cutest little cowboy desert style.

What a find stopping by on the way back to vegas. Caprese flatbread was phenomenal! and the steaks were excellent. The staff are amazing and friendly. Love the easy on the eyes decor. just the right amount of music and lighting for a nice ambiance. Wish they had one near me. Good job cowboy cooking.

They have a daily specials board. Things are cooked fresh and can vary or run out. Part of the fun each time you come

We were traveling on the holiday and it was one of the only places we could find open . What gem! The food was fantastic. We had the country fried steak , prime rib and the bruschetta. I normally give like chicken fried steak but this was tender, well breaded and seasoned so well , and the gravy was worth spooning up a bit after ! The prime rib was soft , juicy and cooked spot on. The horseradish sauce was well blended kick and the au ju wasn't too salty. The but betta was tasty and interesting combination. Down side was a bit too tasted for biting into but still good flavor combos . The only down side is they were out of pie , there wasn't much room because we all left stuffed but we would have shared a slice. Up side, we will have to come back up from phx to make a day trip and stop after a day of jeeping. They also as of today offer 4% discount for cash pay ... so keep supporting this small business ! Oh and we were all so hungry we didn't get any pictures to post

Popped in for a bite to eat on the way to Vegas from Phoenix. It's a fun restaurant that really caters to Wickenburg's cowboy scene. They were pretty busy but we were greeted quickly and seated back in the bar area. After taking a good look at the menu I decided to get a cheeseburger and my mom got a French dip. I really enjoyed my burger. The original sauce on it was tasty and gave it something to set it apart from the fast food burger joints in town. It was a good size too. My mom wasn't super impressed with her French dip though. She thought the sauce was off. Overall if you're heading through I'd give it a shot! I'll probably stop in again sometime.

Stopped by for a quick lunch on way through Wickenburg. Adorable Western decor...even TVs playing Hopalong Cassidy movies!! The food was fabulous! I had the Cheddar Prime sandwich and fries ( their fries!). Large serving...had enough to take home for dinner. My friend had the Club sandwich and said it, too, was delish!! We arrived a little after the normal lunch hour on a Thursday, so there weren't many diners. Quick service - friendly waitress. (Thanks, Elizabeth! You were awesome!!) I'll definitely stop in again when I'm Wickenburg!

    Prime Rib - delish!
    Angela W.

Great Prime Rib. Med. rare. Moist and tender. So so good. Highly recommended. Pork chops- stay away. Overly salty and overcooked. Dried and disappointed. The mash potatoes that came with was even saltier than the pork chop. Unless you don't care about your heart.

Main menu items include fillets, rib eyes, salmon, lobster and other upscale dishes. The interior decor is simple tables with cloths, wood trim and a local country radio station playing in the background (happened to be the same one I was listening to in the car). Dress is casual. The bar seemed well stocked. Dinner for me included the main course, choice of soup or salad, baked potato or fries, beans or carrots, a sourdough bread loaf (hot and soft), and dessert. I found the staff to be as friendly and helpful as you could want. No complaints at all. With one drink and tip I was out the door for about $45 but could have easily spent another $10-15 if I ordered a more expensive course.

The plastic flowers around the restaurant are so out dated, as well as a need for updated glassware. If the new owners want to keep that same decor and not update Charley's, I believe they will not grow their business. Wickenburg is growing and needs a great steakhouse and sit down bar. Charley's can so inviting with a warm atmosphere. Hopefully the new owners make huge changes. We just drove by and noticed the plants out front of Charley's, "Nice Addition"!!!! Looking forward to trying Charley's once you re-open after summer.

He greeted us promptly (pretty important in a bar situation), asked us if we planned on having food as well as drinks, and got our experience off on the right foot immediately. John was really helpful with menu knowledge and recommendations and he was personable and easy to talk to. Managed to check on us periodically despite having a pretty full bar room to manage. He did it all smoothly. The food exceeded our expectations too! Sure I just got a burger and fries but the burger was excellent, juicy, cooked exactly to my medium well preference, and the bacon was memorably good (I just got American cheese and bacon). I liked having the pickles, lettuce, and tomato on the side and he even asked in advance what condiments I wanted (sometimes I have to chase down a server after they deliver the burger and ask for mayo or mustard, not here). The fries were pretty good as well. My wife got the steak with rice and both were really good (the rice wasn't all that hot in temperature but still really tasty). Steak really was delicious and done to perfect medium well again. The carrots that accompanied the steak were great too! And the drinks were great, too! Pinot Grigio was really good and very reasonably priced and I had a great huckleberry peach margarita; my wife loved her whiskey (I think it was Pendleton Reserve maybe?). The friendly and welcoming ambiance didn't stop with Jon, either. Every server and staff member we interacted with was great. We had a really great time here and plan to return here the very next day on our last night in Wickenburg. P.S. I appreciate that the receipt had the largest font on a restaurant receipt that I've ever seenx

**Capital Farms in Wickenburg is Worth Every Minute of the Wait!**…read more We visited Capital Farms on Saturday, and wow--what an experience! The line was long, and the wait was definitely noticeable, but after one bite of their Fancy Smash Burger, we completely understood why. This wasn't just a great burger--it was one of those meals that makes you stop talking for a minute because you're too busy enjoying it. The perfectly seasoned beef, combined with their incredible signature sauce, crisp lettuce, and fresh tomatoes, created an absolute explosion of flavor. Every bite was better than the last. They only sell bottled sodas, but they also offer water, which was perfectly fine for us and let the burger remain the star of the show. For the first time, we also tried Dirty Potato Chips, and they were fantastic. Crunchy, flavorful, and the perfect companion to an already amazing meal. One of the best parts? Capital Farms is also a butcher shop. Before leaving, we picked up some of their ground beef so we can try making our own smash burgers at home. If the burgers they serve are any indication, we're in for a treat! If you're passing through Wickenburg--or even if you're not and need an excuse for a road trip--this place is absolutely worth the stop for lunch or dinner. Just be sure to check their hours before you go. They close at 3:00 PM on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays. **Bottom line:** Great food, quality ingredients, friendly atmosphere, and a burger that will have you planning your next visit before you've finished your meal. Capital Farms has earned a spot on our "must-visit again" list, and we highly recommend it! **Come hungry. Be patient. Enjoy one of the best smash burgers in Arizona.**
