First time here and just had drinks and an app in the afternoon. Bloody Mary was good, draft beer was cold and onion rings sweet and tasty. Chipotle ranch great for dipping. Very interesting place to check out with the animals and such. Would like to come back for rodeo and live entertainment. Love the space.

This is a fun place to visit and enjoy great BBQ. Outside they were preparing for rodeo, and it is fun to watch while waiting for your food to be served. I ordered a Prime Rib French Dip and a baked potato. The sandwich was loaded with meat, and after eating about half of the meat I could finally pick up the sandwich and dip it in the au jus. Delicious! It comes with melted cheese but I got it without the cheese. You really don't need it, the sandwich is perfect without it. The potato was perfect as well. Great service, too!

I really wanted to like this place. Passing by the zoo and the whole set up of the buildings I thought was really cool. When we arrived during lunch time, it seemed strange that it looked like there was only one lady taking everyone's orders. As for the food, I really enjoyed the side of beans, but the brisket and the other barbecue meats I tried wasn't as juicy as I was hoping. A random guy swung by and suggested us to try their Philly cheese steak, and looking at the other reviews, I probably would have enjoyed that, or one of their other sandwiches or burgers, a lot more than the barbecue options.

What a fun restaurant experience out of town! It should definitely be a tourist destination. We went on a Friday night and the horses were out and people were roping! It was very cool to watch. There are goats, llamas, tortoises, and donkeys to keep the kids entertained. There was live country music and a huge dance floor. Sooo many tables all over the place, and heaters as well. We had a party of 13 and there was plenty of room for us at the picnic benches. Service and food took a while to come out, but they were totally busy and it wasn't like we had anywhere to be! Everyone ordered something different and loved it. We were so quiet after the food came. The Mac & cheese was just amazing! Make sure to get it as a side. Great place to hang out county style!

It was incredible!! The vendors are so awesome and my fiancé and I have had the most delightful conversations with them, the service was most encouraging! Love the animals too. And my goodness, the food!! It has such a homey ambiance and my fiancé spent his 18th birthday there recently.

The first thing that happened was that we waited 10 minutes just to be seated. It was lunch time on a Saturday and service was extremely lethargic. This place is located in a mini ranch that includes some general stores, animals, a stage, a public restroom, a mini rodeo, and an outdoor dance floor. The first thing that should be noted is the incompetence of the waitress that served us. First, it took her 10 minutes to go and grab and pen and paper to take our order. Even after writing our orders down, we got the wrong food. Because it service was so slow, it took a long time before someone came over and corrected the mistake. That same waitress was also getting other people's orders wrong. It is an odd choice that none of the buildings in this place have air conditioning. Then add to the fact that there are tons of flies in the restaurant that are always trying to land on your food. I tried out their build your own BBQ option and tried the brisket, burnt ends, turkey breast, mac 'n cheese, and mashed potatoes. None of the meats were good. I tried two different BBQ sauces and they weren't good. The mashed potatoes and mac 'n cheese were average, but the gravy wasn't good. They also charge you a fee for not using cash. This all cost $33.54 for food I didn't even finish. Overall, a horrible experience. This place is located in the middle of nowhere and you'd be doing yourselves a favor by skipping this place and eating somewhere else.

My wife and I were very, very, very pleasantly surprised. If you are unaware of Dillon's or the Western Trails Ranch, on your first visit here, you don't have any clue what this is until you walk into this hidden from view incredible compound! We frequently travel up and down SR 60/Grand Avenue on the outskirts of Phoenix and just recently became aware of this gem. This 12-acre property includes 2 stages, the Buzzard's Saloon, an incredible roping showground, offering bull riding arena and a General Store - not to mention Dillon's restaurant. Another surprise, their menu! A lot of goodies tailored to anyone's taste buds... overall a humongous menu with Beers: whether canned, bottled or draft with a good assortment; a huge assortment of various types of appetizers; soups and salads; you name it kinds of sandwiches; a good list of burgers; prime rib platters; various fish entrees; barbecues; eat in or take out! Wow! We decided to make a pit stop on our way to Laughlin and grabbed an early lunch of a well-made Arnold Palmer and an ice cold Kiltlifter Draft for thirst quenching. We ordered their incredible rendition of deep-fried mushrooms, the Mushroom Bonanza... incredibly tasty and well prepared. My wife ordered the Classic Angus Burger, perfectly char-broiled medium with the toasted bun filled with tomato, lettuce and onion. I decided on the incredibly delish Southwestern Smoked Stew. This baby was chock full of smoked beef and smoked pork meat with good amount of pepper, corn, tomato and carrots - this stew alone is worth the visit, it was fantastic. We recommend Dillon's as a pit stop or even as a destination. It has a lot to offer, and we found it to be a hidden gem for a lot of stuff.

Stacey was amazing. Food was good. Our ribs were dry. We should've complained but we didn't. And why do you guys have black rifle coffee? That is a really bad company!

We made a same-day reservation for a party of five--three teenagers and two adults. We all have different tastes and preferences, so I was hoping the menu would have something for everyone. It absolutely did, and the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is lively yet cozy, making it easy to enjoy conversation even when the restaurant is busy. The staff was absolutely delightful from start to finish. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We started with the truffle fries and the green beans with almonds. Both were wonderful, and the truffle fries were definitely a hit! Our entrees included pastas, fish tacos, a burger, and I had a salad with added salmon. Everything was delicious. My salmon unfortunately came out undercooked, despite my request for it to be cooked through. Our waitress and the manager were incredibly gracious, kind, and genuinely apologetic. They handled everything with such care that it turned what could have been a disappointing experience into an example of exceptional customer service. As part of their above-and-beyond recovery, they treated us to their incredible house donut with the most amazing sauce. It was absolutely outstanding and is not to be missed! The men's restroom contains multiple pornographic photographs featuring full nudity. As a father, this made me deeply uncomfortable. I believe parents should have the right to protect what their children are exposed to, but a father could easily bring his young son into this restroom and be denied that choice without any warning. Adults who intentionally avoid pornography are also given no choice before encountering it. The food was excellent, and we initially had good service while celebrating my wife's birthday. Once the restaurant became busy, however, our server disappeared for quite a while, and we eventually had to ask a busser to find her. To her credit, she made it up to us with a complimentary birthday dessert and sodas, which we genuinely appreciated. Food: 5/5 Overall experience: 3/5 Unfortunately, the restroom completely changed my impression of the restaurant. For a place that presents itself as classy and upscale, displaying explicit nude photographs throughout a public restroom is one of the most classless décor choices imaginable. This is a public restaurant that serves families, not an adults-only establishment. I sincerely hope management reconsiders and removes the images.

Totally OK, but the condescending tone is unnecessary. Again, first visit here and I was in a rush- it should be standard at the register to share that information; where to go, what to get. Second visit, I brought my colleagues and manager. Again, this information was not shared but luckily I was there to just get them what they needed. No big deal! But the food came out at different times and most of us felt uncomfortable eating food unless the entire table had theirs. Third time and here I am writing a review. I waited for my food as multiple people got served prior to me. I tried smiling and waving to someone who was delivering the food, and she was clearly avoiding me. She even checked in on everyone around me... On top of that, they seem well trained at removing the table number once the food has been served. My table number remained up for 25 minutes. I purchased an entree, drink, and a cookie- really trying to support the business here despite the lack of mind for the consumer. Not until another woman who seemed to have the outside coverage passed by was I able to get to share my issue. The manager came and offered me an additional side or dessert but my meal came with two sides and I had already purchased a cookie. He explained that the issue was because my order was pushed as completed but that does not cover the fact my table number was up the entire time and the other service members completely ignoring me. I am at Cherry Creek for work every other week and wanted this place to be my go-to for meals but 3/3 visits of service being subpar- I've got to move on! I audit service for work and understand I can't make judgment from the first two visits. This third one solidified it! I am not comfortable at Flower Child. 3 stars for 3 underwhelming experiences.
