Here we are with yet ANOTHER network outage. I am SO sick and tired of this..these "outages" happen wayyyy too often when I am paying so much $$ for this "service". Went in for a simple equipment return was very clear no other service should be disconnected. I returned home to my account off and my internet service disconnected. When I call the store I get no apology from the "manager" I simply get a "oh I caught it, I turned it back on you'll have to create new account." THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to get my online account fixed and went to the store. There was a waitlist that you sign so you are seen first come first serve. The staff were doing the best they could to help everyone. There are so many options for cable and internet. I know sometimes people do not understand all the ins and outs, but I witnessed the staff doing their best to explain. I recommend going here if you're having issues with your internet I have to say Samantha was very helpful to me and was very knowledgeable about my issue. Finally decided to cancel my cable service with Cox. Had it since I bought my place a few years ago. The Cox Internet service is just okay, especially for the almost top tier I subscribed to and still have occasional outages and buffering for streaming Youtube and other streaming services. TV with HBO, that part is not too expensive but was hardly utilized. Anyway, this is my first visit to this Cox location and overall it was a positive experience. When I arrived, there were just 2 groups ahead of me, both already speaking to their rep. The waiting list by the door had no pen to sign-in with, but I was next with the next person in line walking in a few minutes after me. So luckily the wait was minimal. The lady assisting me asked me the required questions on why I was canceling my services, if TV was the only service I was disconnecting, etc. But my mind was already made up and physically returning the equipment to the store, as nicely repacked in the original box, was part of the final obligatory steps in saying goodbye to Cox Cable. Satisfied with my reply she scanned the barcode on the box (didn't even open it to check) and verified and system to make sure I am not going to get any more billing and informed me that I will be getting a credit refund and printed a receipt. As far as breakups and divorces go, this service termination process without any extra effort to beg or having to reject the counter party to stay, enticement of some perks and concessions in a futile attempt to salvage a loveless transactional relationship was exactly what I needed. Just efficient and matter of fact, almost robotic in nature. Can't complain about that. read more

I know you often hear people say if they could give no stars they would, but this doesn't even begin my frustrations. I had an issue with my phone and the customer service was downright inexcusable. THIS REVIEW IS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE STORE ONLY. Jesus (Chewy) and Caesar (supervisor) were both extremely helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and did everything they could to help me reduce my bill. Unfortunately I did have to cancel my cable service but kept my internet. They can only do so much. But their effort and kindness was terrific. I have been with Cox since it was Prime Cable. I am so done. Cable , internet and phone all went down around 130am this morning for one of their useless updates to "improve service". Now my neighborhood has an outage and service should be restored by 143 pm. This is just unacceptable. What if I worked from home? Would Cox pay ne my lost wages??? Or if I did not own a cell phones and had to call 911??? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! This location has the worst group of employees I have ever come across. Today I went in to pick up equipment I ordered over the phone and they refused to release it. I verified my pin code, address, what my exact work order was etc, and the male Cox rep refused to give me the equipment I ordered. I have been a solid customer of COX since 2012. I have been into this location on many occasions. I have picked up equipment in the past and they recognize me from paying my bill in store. This was the last straw, the Cox rep was rude and not happy with my identification verification? I am done with this location and the rude staff that "works" here. My last visit was no better, I had stopped by after a gym visit at 24 HR Fitness which is right down the street. I showed up 26 minutes prior to them closing to make a quick cash payment on my bill. The extremely rude Cox agent says "sorry" we have already shut down the computers so I can't take your payment. I replied, I thought you were open for another half hour? He replied yes but it takes awhile to shut down and I need to get out on time. This is bad bad bad service. They were open for another 29 minutes. All I needed to do was make a cash payment. It is not like I walked in 1 minute before closing time. :/ He was loud, rude and refused to help and told me to go online and pay, even though I told him I had cash only! I will continue to go to the Ft. Apache/Sahara location where I will be treated with respect and get my customer needs resolved. read more

Cox communication came to my house to repair my TVs wall. The representative was there. He dropped his machine on my wooden floor and took a chunk out of my flooring. I called Cox immediately on June 12 to report the damage he did to the flooring and he also damaged my wall Near one of my outlets I was told by Cox that I would hear from somebody within 48 hours. They would come over and look at it and get it repaired for me that was around June 12, 2024. It is now September 15 and nothing has been done. I have called them every week sometimes twice a week they keep saying somebody's gonna call me. I never received that call, and the floor is still not fixed either. I'm 76 years old and I don't need the stress and they need to fix my floor and my wall. They just keep ignoring me thinking I'm gonna go away. Stupidly high priced for super poor internet. Ive constantly had alot unstable if not no internet at all. I'll call in to see whats happening and they'll tell me we dont see anything wrong. I've requested for a tech but they will charge a 100 bucks for a tech to come out to see whats wrong. I've been billed for an account I didn't sign up for. I contacted Cox via chat on their website. I was told I had to contact the store in order to get the account cleared. When I returned the equipment, the person helping me wasn't clear to me about what that would entail - would it mean the charge on my account would be resolved/removed? After talking to the chat representative, I called the store. They put me on hold for 37 GODDAMN MINUTES! And still didn't answer! When I hung up and called back, I got no answer after 10 rings. Years with Cox paying for 300MBPS down and 30 MBPS up, and we get an inconsistent, 3-25MBPS on a network that lags and makes gaming unenjoyable. When me and my fiancee first entered this store to finally get some internet/cable into our brand new apartment, we were very pleased with their bundle package promotion that offered everything for around 100 a month so we went with it right away. They granted my 5-years-ago account as a waiver for the deposit as well. Outstanding service in the store, but OUTSIDE of the store via their call center was a different story. My mistake in putting the wrong apartment number turned out to be a completely mishandled disaster by their call center in Virginia and resulted in a four-hour long phone call to sort out my account, cancel the original work ticket for us to have had service on Tuesday, and then concluded in it being pushed all the way to Friday (today). While we were less than pleased that a minor error would cause such a frustrating delay, we bit the bullet after such a long strenuous phone tag with the call center rep and just took the slot for this afternoon. Low and behold, nobody showed up even after I had received two confirmation e-mails for the install appointment. I called the call center to ask what was going on, and was told the work order was completely erased due to some magically disappearing information regarding the third party verification that I KNOW I had completed way before the lady on the last call confirmed everything was peachy keen. So after reviewing our options at this point to just go without another carrier (one with a much less promising package albeit cheaper), I decided the best way to handle it would be to avoid the call center completely especially after they told me NO NOTES were even taken on the four-hour phone call I had to sit through the night before. Me and my fiancee headed right back into this store location to try and get something done before the next available slot the guy at the call center stated which would have been WEDNESDAY- a whole week after we should've had it done in the first place, mind you. Luckily, despite there being no supervisor around, there was an extremely accommodating employee named Joshua who got everything straightened out in less than fifteen minutes and got us hooked up with a self-install kit then out the door. He profusely apologized for the frustration we went through and also informed us there were several errors made on our account that he took the time to fix for us- otherwise it would have incurred an undue deposit and lacking the in-store promotion that we were initially promised. TLDR: Josh saved the day. Pro-Tip: 1) Put the right address, otherwise they have to start a whole new work ticket and the person who does that will most likely get all of the original information wrong and not duplicate the first one- including in-store promotions and waived deposits if you received one. 2) GO TO THE STORE IN PERSON. After previously working in a call center myself, I know that nine times out of ten the rep will not leave adequately detailed notes on your account if they even leave a note about the call at all. Everything done right is usually done IN person. Just would like to thank Josh for sorting this our for us and not making us wait another five days without internet as we have already gone the past 2 weeks without it. We will definitely be coming back to this location with any further questions or issues because apparently COX's call centers are about as useful as me asking my lamp for help. read more

The worst company known to man! I spoke with an individual from their call center 5 days ago about transferring service to my new address, she stated she could find, but that the old resident still had service. So she stated that she would contact the old residents so I could connect service. The day I moved I attempted to setup my router and no service. I called and spoke with three different individuals and everyone stated that my property wasn't a part of their system, but is serviceable by Cox. Each person quoted me a different time frame to correct the issue. I had one person try to tell me not to disconnect my service at the property I lived.
