I must say that their offers were quite enticing and locked in that rate for 2 years. I was also offered to place my account on a vacation hold. Yet, the rep said I didn't qualify for that because I had already done that. I explained to the rep that my account has never been disconnected or on a vacation hold for the 5 years that I've had the account. I think they may be looking at the address and not the individual at the address, which they should as rental properties will have different individuals including homes being purchased. Hopefully, this will be something they can resolve with their computer system.

The cancellation process itself took far too long, and I was required to return equipment in person. When I arrived at the Cox store right when it opened at 10 AM, there was already a long line of customers waiting. It honestly felt like the process was made unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming. I stayed with Cox for years because there weren't many reliable alternatives available in my area, but now that there are other options, I decided to switch. I hope Cox improves both pricing transparency and the customer cancellation experience for long-time customers in the future.     As a long time customer of Verizon, I can say previous experiences at their stores have not been…read moregood, so I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I decided to trade in my phone and upgrade to the newest model as well as make some modifications to my plan, and Verizon made it very easy. I think what helped is I did the order online and then did same day pickup. Upon walking into the store, I was instantly greeted by the friendly staff member, showed the receipt of my transaction and he went off to fetch my new phone which he returned with in less than 5 minutes. He also explained what I needed to do to complete the trade in of my old phone (backup and move data, turn off find me services, reset all) and I was able to complete this same day and they gave me full trade in value for it despite it being a 6 year old device. Overall I was very happy with how my transaction went and have experienced no issues. Store is easy to get to and has ample parking and is clean, open and light inside, pretty much your typical tech store anymore. For me it was the easy and hassle free transaction that made this a good experience for me.
