My wife and I went here tonight and we both enjoyed the food and service. She had the diamond margarita, seafood enchiladas and I got the Texas fajitas. My wife loved the drinks and we both enjoyed the food. The service was good and the server even brought me some extra hot homemade sauce for my fajitas. I think he was the manager but he was very friendly and checked in a few times. I know there were a few poor reviews for service on here but I would highly recommend you trying this place for yourself. Whatever issues they may have had seem to have been corrected. First time in and place is nice had a good vibe. Started at the bar with a very helpful girl. Waited for the group of girls to get there and when we sat down at the table. We were greeted and ordered a pitcher of margaritas. She brought the margaritas and we didn't see her again. I had to wave someone down to come take our order. It was well over a good 20 to 25 mins we were waiting. We all ordered, get our food and again the waitress never came back to the table to check on us. This time I went to the hostess stand to ask them for our check. They were good, split the check 4 ways. I paid by credit card and left cash for a tip. Checked my account and they added another 5.00 tip onto the check. Not cool. We arrived at 6:30 and didn't leave until 8. Food was great, service just needs to step up a bit and don't add extra to the tab when it clearly states cash for tip. read more

Chipotle Pasta -Fettuccine pasta, shrimp or grilled chicken, creamy Chipotle sauce, Parmesan cheese, avocado, cilantro. I opted for the shrimp. 2 piece of toast The sauce really creamy and the shrimp bite was good. The pasta was good but quite a few stuck together. Other than I really enjoyed this meal. They provide chips and salsa before the meal. The decor is really nice as well, floral, and artwork displayed on the wall. read more

This is our first time checking out this new location. It's beautifully decorated. At the time of our visit, they didn't have an ABC license. They have the typical Mexican restaurant dishes, but they also offer some unique entrées as well. I enjoyed getting the chile poblano versus the chile relleno. read more

Today for lunch I felt like grazing. So I ordered a take out order that was composed of Lunch #2, an à la carte of 3 Chiles Relleno, an order of Jalapeño Poppers, and an order of Corn on the Cobb! The order took awhile, right at 25 minutes, this with no one else in the restaurant. Once my order was in hand, I was on my way. This was a mixture of items with a mixture of results as to quality. The salsa was quite nice with a nice amount of heat, always a good thing. The Lunch #2 was built off a Burrito with ground beef accompanied by beans and rice, both of which are very good here. This was a decent burrito but a touch under seasoned. The Chiles Relleno were fixed more like a stew, with only small pieces of chile scattered throughout - obviously no place for an outside batter in this manner of preparation, would not revisit this. The Corn was very nice, with a nice mixture of flavors, and obvious the texture was there. A definite reorder here. The Poppers were dull, little heat and under seasoned. I'll pass on this going forward. There was 59cents to go charge and a CC charge as well. With all that going on and not going on, I'll pass on this spot. read more

Checked out this new Mexican restaurant in Clemmons, right beside Cracker Barrel. First off, if you're into taking pictures, you'll love it , the place has a very modern, aesthetic vibe that's definitely Instagram-worthy. When I visited, they didn't have their liquor license yet, but they mentioned they're working on it. Service was great and very quick, which I always appreciate. The food itself is pretty typical Mexican fare, nothing bad, just what you'd expect. They do offer seafood platters, which seem to be more of their highlight. For me, it was a little on the pricey side, but if you're into seafood and enjoy a nice atmosphere, it's worth giving it a try. read more

Granted it's Friday and the restaurant was crowded but our server was an amateur and the kitchen dropped the ball. They lost our orders. Server ignored us or ashamed. We've been waiting for this place to open! They've remodeled the inside and it looks great. Nice and clean and well lighted. Our waiter was prompt and helpful with the menu. Chips and salsa were good and fresh. We started off with the shrimp ceviche tostada and they nailed it. Tostadas were crisp and the ceviche had a fresh taste just like you would eat under a palapa on the beach. My wife had the beef enchilada combo with red sauce, rice and beans and she said that it was good. I also had a combo with the beef enchilada and a chile relleno. The relleno was stuffed full of meat and had a generous covering of cheese. There was a lot on the menu and we plan to go back soon and try some of their seafood specialties. I was here with a group of 12. Seating was a bit cramped but I appreciate them accommodating our group. Servers were very friendly and nice. I got tilapia in a chipotle sauce, I thought it was very good. The fish was well cooked and sauce was a nice compliment. Others' reactions to their food varied, some really seemed to like theirs, some felt that what they received was different from what they were expecting. read more

Decided to write a review after our 2nd to go order from here. First time we went, we got a taco salad with chicken and a beef chimichanga with both rice and beans. The taco salad was pretty decent, minus the bottom being a bit water logged with moisture. Don't mean to gross anyone out, but it still had a decent taste and flavor to it according to my wife. The beef chimichanga i got came with ground beef and actually tasted good, but they forgot to deep fry the thing. I moreso got a beef burrito. Their beans were pretty decent and the rice was good too. I didn't raise too much of a fuss because it did taste good, or at least good enough to not turn around and ask for a refund. So we decided to give them a try again, which leads to tonight's review. My wife got the same thing with the exception of getting steak instead of chicken. I didn't taste it but was told the steak itself was saturated with salt. We don't mind salt on beef, but she said it was too much to the point where she couldn't finish eating it. The rest of the taco salad, like the shell and the guacamole, was good. Was a bit soggy at the bottom, but the rest of the shell was good like last time. My tacquitos were pretty blah, minus the beef ones. The beef itself was pretty tender. Also had alot of flavor too....seemed like it had the standard Mexican flavors but it was tasty. That chicken, however, was the complete opposite of tender. It was ridiculously dry. Like borderline wanting me to get a refund dry. It also had no flavor as well. You get 4 in an order with 2 beef and 2 chicken along with some rice. Oh about the rice itself....idk why the rice i got the first time tasted much better than what I got this most recent visit, but I didn't care for it this time. I cant speak of the ambiance since I didn't really venture past the reception booth. The service was pretty good and the wait staff was helpful. The gentleman I spoke with while waiting for my order mentioned they just got their liquor license and mentioned a plethora of margaritas they had available....looks like they have a wide variety. All in all, I think I may be inclined to give them a try while dining in only. Their wait staff seems very helpful and knowledgeable. I did have a question about a menu item and they answered without any issue. My wife doesn't agree with me in giving them another chance but we'll see. My wife's Margarita and burrito were good, but my enchiladas and beans were bland and cold, iced tea was not good at all, and they charged me $3.50 for it. I guess they plated up my enchiladas first and then let them sit while they made my wife's food. The server was very nice but clueless - why would you put an obviously cold plate in front of me? Its not like she couldn't feel the complete absence of warmth. Very disappointing. As others have mentioned the music was way too loud. If I want a nice strong Margarita I'll go here, otherwise I'm not going back. read more

Went to Cozumel on January 10th. Some of the food was on-par for what I'd expect from a Mexican restaurant (fish tacos/enchiladas) in the area, except the fish ceviche left much to be desired(seemed to be more pico than fish). The service was good from the perspective of the waitress was kind and attentive to our needs, however the kitchen seemed to be backed up. We waited steins an hour for our food as did the tables around us. We were intrigued by this place based on the gotowinston social media post about margaritas, however at the time of dining they didn't have a liquor license. I do think there's potential for this restaurant, but they need to work on some aspects. To be competitive in what is a saturated market. Which is why I feel 2/5 is accurate read more

Our first visit there. Positives: friendly staff, and good service. Two types of complimentary salsas served with chips. We ordered mahi fish tacos. Flour tortillas, lettuce, cheese; no side item served with it. The mahi was good, but the taco needed something. It was very bland. We requested additional lime to add to them. That helped. But someone tell the chef that a lime avocado mayo drizzle on top would definitely help with flavor. You're welcome. read more

We went to check this new spot out based on seeing amazing photos and reviews since they recently opened. I'll start with the positives: the ambiance is nice and has a modern vibe to it with vibrant colors and decor. The restrooms were exceptionally clean as well as the actual dining area. They also have a vast 9 page menu. Their salsa was delicious. Now let's discuss where they fell short: the music was SO loud, we couldn't hear each other at our table. We were only 1 of 3 tables at the time and the servers were not attentive and only checked on us to bring the check. The food was very inconsistent. I ordered Pollo Yucatán which had chicken, peppers, onions, and squash over a bed of rice. It was WAY over the top salty and greasy. I ended up switching with my husband because I didn't want my stomach to be messed up. It tasted and looked as though a bottle of Lawry's season salt was dumped on it. The veggies were still cold and raw. My husband ordered the street tacos. They were also a little oilier than most we've had at other places, but lacked enough seasoning and were bland. Our server never asked if we liked the food once it was brought to the table. They also charge a fee if you don't pay cash which is illegal if you're paying debit. Also, they aren't serving alcohol at the time, unsure why or when they will. Their drinks look good, but they don't have a single price listed on their menu, which as a customer seems concerning. Overall, we really hoped this would be our new spot for Mexican food, but will continue to visit Pancho Villas instead. We were so disappointed I didn't even take a photo. read more

Tried out this new place hoping to find a decent Mexican restaurant closer to home. the wait staff and ambiance was good. The food was very bland. Ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was shredded chicken inside a tortilla shell. No cheese, sauce, or anything inside. On the side was shredded lettuce with a little sour cream. Plating was terrible and maybe I was supposed to bake my own but it was not expected. We tried it but we will probably never go back. read more

Wow!!!! This restaurant is beautiful on the inside and the Mexican food was so good. I got a shrimp with garlic mushrooms and it was absolutely delicious. They have food on their menu that other Mexican restaurants don't serve. We are definitely coming back. And Dayma our server was so awesome. She checked on us a lot and had great recommendations.
