Finally got around to checking this place out and glad to have found it. We ordered; 2 house salads -there's a lot of toppings on the salad and the homemade ranch is really good. Would order again! Meatball Sub - the meatballs are really flavorful and tasty and the sandwich had a lot of toppings. The bread was good too! I would say get a side of extra marinara or order with extra, but I would get this again. The House Calzone - the flavor was good and there was a lot of toppings inside, however, the breading was super thin, about as thin as the pepperoni. Would love to see it a little more bread-y. The inside is definitely hot and small. There's only two small tables and two picnic tables out front. The staff were friendly! We will definitely be back and order some pizzas next time. read more

My daughter and son in law live in Wellington and love this place. I had it for the first time yesterday and was truly blown away. We shared the jalapeño popper and the chicken pesto pizzas, both amazing. I noticed right away when I asked for a side rach that it was not your traditional ranch. It was home made and not like every other pizza place that gets ranch in by the gallon. I tasted it an immediately asked for a second one because it was so good, and bought 6 more to take home after we finished the pizza . Creamy, thick, fresh garlic and herbs... We got the jalapeno popper pizza and the pepperoni fest. Both pizza where delicious. I loved on the pepperoni pizza that the pepperoni was crisp. I don't agree with all of the negative reviews this awesome locally owned restaurant unfortunately has on here. We've been getting pizza from here for nearly three years, and we've loved it. Very solid standard American style pizza. Flavor is good, crust is great on good days, and good on bad days, sauce is good, service is excellent, and it's a real gem in a town that is mostly lackluster when it comes to food. I recommend this place to people from Cheyenne to Fort Collins because it's better pizza than most of our other local options. read more

Ordered an extra large pepperoni and cheese. The cheese in the middle was rubber and there was no sauce under. Definition of undercooked. It was a take out so I can't rate the service other than the thirty second interaction. I think if they took a two day trip to New York they may learn something. Just moved to Wellington and tried there gluten free pizza. Freaking delicious! Service was excellent and will definitely be coming back.

I bought the deal promoted online. $19. Turned up and they ask for $27 plus before tip (always like to tip). I mention the $19 deal online and they say oh sorry it's not right (I did say when placing my order I would like the $19 deal and nobody said anything), after I drove to collect. Not my fault but they refused to honour it. Terrible service. I ask to speak to the manager, a 17 year old appears, always respectful to her, but she would not honour, I ask for the owner and she says she is own of town and refused her contact details (place is being run by children, highly scary). End of day, small local business with terrible service. Sure the owners would not be impressed and waste of the customers time driving to collect!! read more

Came in the other day trying to escape the heat because my car had broken down. Got a milkshake which was amazing on it own but the service I received was beyond anything I could of asked for. I had explained how my car broke down and the lady working offered to have someone she know look at it for free. She also let me sit in the back where it was cooler and charge my phone. Then my mom talked to the person she had recommended and they suggested to go to O'reilley auto parts and have them run a few tests, I found out my car was busted and had to be towed. She was beyond kind and good karma is definitely heading her way! She even came to check up on me a few hours later at my car to make sure everything was alright. Not only was the food good but her kindness was more than I could of asked for. I definitely recommend:) read more

I hate to leave poor reviews for a small local business but the quality here requires it. The pizza is decent, but nothing else really is. Soggiest thinnest calzone I've ever had, came with ice cold marinara. I also don't understand why they insist on putting the toppings under the cheese. If that's what you do...fine. But if I'm paying for (overpriced) pizza and I ask if I can have the toppings on the top...hence the word "toppings" i am shocked to be told "no, we are not allowed". The shakes and malts are good. Pizza is middle of the road. Haven't really had anything else good. This is after trying about a dozen orders with a variety of items. read more

Super disappointed in this place. The last two times they have messed up our order dramatically and when I call they just tell me I can drive back and wait 30 minutes for a new pizza. This place is not only pretty expensive for pizza but had awful service; half the kids working in there are visibly under the influence, not a great look for a business. Dominos had some online ordering issues tonight and so we decided to try Pizza Palace for the first time. We have lived here for four years. I got two calzones, two salads and one pizza. The calzones were pretty good, didn't know that if I ordered a specialty one it would come without ricotta cheese, so that was good to know. I ordered a pepperoni, black olive and green pepper pizza for my kids and instead of black olives they got onions. Luckily my kids aren't suuuuper picky and the onions were hiding under the cheese so they didn't really notice. Not sure when we will be back, but good to know they had a rather large menu. Might just get ice cream next time. read more

I tried this place last week because it was local. The pizza tastes like straight up frozen aisle pizza from like the dollar tree (if they sold frozen pizza). It tasted so nasty . The ingredients where so gross tasting . And it's so expensive. Like dude, at least if you're gonna charge those prices, invest in better flavors. I do not recommend this place . I would have rather gone to Ridleys and bought a frozen pizza there, it probably would have been better tasting. Also the customer service sucked. They where unfriendly and looked like they didn't want to work. Never going back for sure. I live in Wellington so a local pizza place was going to be handy. We ordered a 16" with 2 toppings. Came to almost $18. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. It was doughy and uncooked on the top and burned on the bottom. We were very dissatisfied with the number of puny sausages. This was the first time we ever threw out pizza, but we did! I grew up in the 80's and we went to the Pizza Palace frequently every weekend for pizza on through the 90's. They even used to have an arcade. The pizza back then was top notch and was made with pride. They got a ton of our business. Unfortunately, the pizza is not as good as it was growing up and the service is even worse. Let's start with the pizza. Greasy, greasy, greasy. Also, check the pizza before taking it home. Sometimes they come lopsided with an odd cheese-to-sauce ratio. The staff is not very apologetic about it, either. This isn't just a one-time-bad-experience example, either. Now let's go on to the service. The employees have obviously not been given any training in customer service. Customers walk into the joint and are treated with flagrant disregard. No smiles. No thank you. No warm and inviting faces. It's almost as if the owners of the Pizza Palace have put the business on auto-pilot and are satisfied with whatever business is coming in. They're no longer concerned with growth, or improvement in their product. It's a poor reflection of charming small-town family-owned businesses. It has so much potential. By comparison, when I go to Dominos in Wellington, I'm greeted with a squeaky clean facility and a bright shiny staff who have obviously been trained in customer service: Smile. Say "thank-you." Make the customer think you care. Admittedly, this review is skewed toward what the Pizza Palace used to be compared to what it is now. The town of Wellington deserves better. read more

Stopped back in again and watched the woman make my small pepperoni pizza. She struggled to work the dough onto the screen like she had no idea on how to make a pizza. It was painful watching this misuse of dough. She pulled and stretched it like the guys making noodles in China. I guess the owners in Wellington probably don't care or even read yelp. I have had the pleasure of eating a lot of pizza from a lot of pizza places ranging from awful to excellent. The staff of the Pizza Palace are regular folks and nice enough, but I don't think anyone there knows too much about spices, toppings or the possibilities that they might offer. Seeing as Wellington is a small town in northern Colorado I doubt there is much demand for variety, but that doesn't get them off the hook. read more
