Very busy restaurant and that's a great sign. Cashier was super friendly and explained everything well. The food was good, nothing different than any other crepes I have in the past. Can't believe it's been this long since I've left a review for this spot. Lou the owner is the best! And we love coming here on the weekends. I've been surprised to see it be a bit slower lately, but we do go at weird hours so that's probably why haha. Recently we actually got to sit out on the patio and enjoy the weather. The owner is so nice and hands on with the business! He greets every customer who walks in with a smile. The restaurant has free fruit infused water for customers to help themselves to, and nice heat lamps for the outside seating area in winter. Crepe Expectations is that comfort food place. You walk in and someone is there to greet you with a smile. You order your food first and then find a table to sit at. They will bring you your order. They have both inside and outside sitting. I enjoy sitting inside with the warm months and they have a cozy radio station. But the crepes... I have had many over the years and by far, my favorites are the chicken chili verde and the monkey. I had a lovely experience here for my birthday. We were a group of 5 and sat on the nice, outdoor (dog-friendly) patio to dine. We ordered a bottle of champagne and the owner, Lou brought it out to us. He was really fun and nice and the personal touch was appreciated! I'm used to crepes being a small rolled entity these fill the entire plate and it was only $10!! I passes it around for others to try and everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. The lemon cheesecake filling was delicious and the berries were fresh and so beautiful. The homemade whipped cream served on the side is next level!! Ate here on 1/22/26, we were there about 11am after a long flight. Brunch and crepe's sounded amazing to my 14yo and myself.... This place doesn't disappoint! They even had a GF option! I went with the green chili and was thrilled that it was so good!!! You can tell the green chili was homemade by someone who REALLY knows how to make it!!! So good!!! And btw great house coffee!!! They really appreciate their customers as their entire staff from start to finish are very kind and also check to make sure everything is good. As a party of two, we did one egg filled crepe and one berries crepe so we could enjoy both. The Marco Polo had a lot of sausage in it - no shortage of ingredients! It wasn't overly cheese stuffed which works GREAT for me. It comes with a side - we chose bananas. My business partner and I had an outstanding lunch at Crepe Expectations, and this place truly lives up to its name. We both ordered The Rosarito ($11.00 insane value), and it was truly exceptional. The crepe was filled with flavorful fresh ground chorizo, fluffy scrambled eggs, rich guacamole, and melted jack cheese. It was perfectly balanced! I would say it was savory, slightly spicy, and incredibly satisfying with that beautiful golden, crispy exterior and soft interior. It came with a choice of soup or salad, and we went with the soup which was a warm, hearty, and well-seasoned broth that complemented the crepe perfectly. We also had the chance to try The Sonora as a second dish to share. It featured tender carne asada steak, roasted tomato salsa, fresh guacamole, and jack cheese wrapped in the same delicious crepe. The steak was juicy and well-seasoned, the salsa added a bright, smoky kick, and together it created a bold, Mexican-inspired flavor profile that was just as impressive as the Rosarito. What made the experience even better was the incredible service. Our server, Lili, was absolutely phenomenal . She had amazing customer service skills and she anticipated our every need with genuine warmth, attentiveness, and a smile that made us feel completely cared for. We also got to meet Elizabeth, our talented crêpe creator, who clearly pours passion and skill into every dish. Jenn and her husband have built something truly special here. The sonora had great flavor, but the carne asada was a tad bit overcooked. I was able to still enjoy my meal, but I think it would have been much better with steak that was not as dry. It was a lovely day so we chose to sit outside. They even have heaters. We ordered three crepes as well as some hot tea and an iced coffee. We got the Big Lou's BBQ, The Rosarito and The Go Bananas Foster for dessert. All of the food was amazing. The Big Lou's BBQ came with a delicious slaw and I was very happy I chose that one.
