Was excited to find a wine bar at the airport to spend my time in for a longer layover. Was unfortunately a little let down. All the reviews talked the service up but I believe it could have been better. We were only one of two tables yea dirty dishes and empty glasses filled our table while the server walked but multiple times looking at them and not grabbing them. The food was subpar and wine selection could have been better. All in all I wouldn't choose to go back on my layover home.

Top notch service and accommodating chef. This a a comfy place to grab a bite and a drink between flights.

The pizza was delicious and big enough to feed two people. And our server was so cool and funny!

Great spot for a wonderful glass of wine and a quick snack before boarding our flight. Our sever was very attentive and explained the wines that we ordered. Very relaxing feel atmosphere before boarding.

    Bar stool need an update.

Love the convenience of having a glass of GOOD wine at the airport. I've been stopping by for years and the service and wine selection are consistently great. I've only tried a few food items - pizzas and salads - but they were also delicious. That said, they really should invest in decor updates. The barstools are ridiculous. Otherwise well worth a stop.

I stopped in for a quick lunch before my flight out of Dallas after Ice Storm 2023. Pros: Service was fast and friendly. Loved my Pear and Gorgonzola pizza - I ate every bit Easy to get seating Cons: The tables turn quickly, but they don't get to wipe tables down in between Prices are a bit steep Not a whole lot of non-alcoholic options Could use some more dessert options too Pro tip: Good place to sit if you have some time before your flight. The restaurant is a bit removed from the chaotic gating area, so it isn't as noisy.

Service was phenomenal. Everyone working there was extremely friendly. I loved the sinful reds wine flight. The only down side was the house salad was terrible. I didn't like the flavor of the vinaigrette. I would definitely go back, but try something different to eat.

My flight was delayed and what better way to spend my time than to eat and drink! Cru is always a great place to grab some good pizza and wine! Thank you Lovefield for having this place at the airport! Definitely helped the time go by while waiting on my flight

I had a little time to kill waiting on my flight, so I decided to grab a bite to eat and enjoy some wine at Cru. We have a Cru wine bar in The Woodlands near my home that I've always enjoyed. Needless to say, this was a good Cru too! I enjoyed a flight of white wines. I also ordered a cheese board and added salami. The staff were attentive and kind.

Not even child's portions, in my opinion. Sad.

Used to be a fave spot at Lovefield for me. Drastic change... Cup of soup served in styrofoam, nothing was eaten in this pic. Spoon is for size reference, that's not a grilled cheese sandwich. That's not half of a grilled cheese. For $19 can't you make a normal grilled cheese? Does it get any cheaper food cost than a grilled cheese sandwich? Same with the soup, small cup and you can't fill it? I knew the price when ordering and was happy to pay it. But I expected a normal cup of soup and not a sandwich barely larger than my spoon. $44 lunch and I was very hungry after eating. Stopped for a snack to take on the plane. Service was friendly. Too many other choices at the airport to be served micro portions. I expect to pay high airport prices. I don't expect to leave hungry. No longer a fan.

Excellent wine and food...very comfortable spot prior to our flight. The wine flights are a great idea, very reasonably priced.

Airport CRU had rude pregnant server. When dropping off dessert she stated " just tell me where to put this" as we're trying to make room.

I visited Waters Edge with my family this past weekend before we went to a movie at the Drafthouse…read more(just across the parking lot), and we had a good time! Waters Edge is a winery and a bistro - so you can come for drinks or a meal or both. We were told that they make all of the wines on their menu, of which there are dozens of wines on their menu. I've been to a few urban wineries before, and it's an interesting concept. Waters Edge buys grape must (crushed grapes) from around the world and then craft and bottle wines made from that must at their locations (this Dallas location is one of 15 across the country). Wanting to try a few of their wines, the four of us shared two flights of five wines each. We tried the Tour of Armenia and Alec's Flight (a rotating selection of wines by their winemaker). Did I like every wine? No. But I thought most of them were pretty good. Personally, I'm not sure they need to make this many wines; I'll always prefer a business that does ten things well than fifty things fine (the Cheesecake Factory rule). But most of the wines were pretty nice (of the 10 I tried, I wouldn't drink 3 or 4 but wouldn't mind drinking the rest again). I appreciated that many of their wines are Armenian style, because I haven't had much opportunity to try Armenian wines. We also ordered a few snacks - they have a full food menu. We shared their Deviled Egg of the Month (2 eggs - 4 halves) and their Cheese is Life Board (two cheeses, hot honey, giardiniera, and crispy flatbread), which were both good snacks. They've been open just under a year, but the place doesn't feel quite lived in yet. The dining room has a large room divider in it, set up like a bookshelf. It has books and card/trivia games about wine and more. But many of these items were still wrapped in plastic, making it feel a little impersonal. The service was good, and it's a comfortable place to spend a couple of hours! The food we had was pretty good. The wines in my opinion are just okay - probably not the spot to take a wine snob on a date. But they have a large variety of wines, so you're likely to find one or many that you like. Not a bad place to spend some time if you're in the neighborhood!

We sat in the area with couches and each had a glass of wine. I enjoyed my Temecula Valley Malbec and my wife enjoyed her German Gewurztraminer wine. The staff were friendly and informative. We will definitely be back.
