Had a Party of 50. They accommodated us immediately. Service was great. Food was good and drinks were cold. highly recommend for anyone staying at the nearby hotels for any events.

So it had been a very long time, I hadn't been to Crab Avenue in Glendale; today I met my two friends for lunch and the place doesn't disappoint as usual. I had a pound of easy peel shrimp, which are the shrimp with the shell, but without the heads and today Saturday, they had a discount of 20% for the dish And on the side, I had an order of angel hair with creamy tomato sauce. Omg... so good I really like that place

    Chef's Special
    Winn H.

I visited Crab Avenue with a friend. Since we visited on a weekday afternoon, there weren't other customers at the time. We had their Chef's Special medium spicy, good for two. The shrimps that came with it were all shell-off, and it was like Jambalaya without the rice. The carb substitute was instead garlic bread - toasty - but a tad too charred, and five pieces for two. The Chef's Special was good, but if this is a signature, it definitely felt lacking. There was a modest amount of shrimp amongst a bed of veggies. (The plate was very large, and there really was just a single layer of shrimp and veggies.) Overall, service was great, but the food was not too impressive.

It was our first time coming here. The server was really helpful and let us take our time ordering. He answered any questions we had and even gave us recommendations! He constantly checked if we needed anything and made sure we had a great experience. The food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back!

Great food! We got a 2lbs of crab and shrimp since it was so close to our hotel. We ordered the lemon pepper easy peel the shrimp was cooked perfect and we got to enjoy the World Cup with our family and the owner. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. Would love to come visit again when I come to LA

Haven't had Crab Avenue in a while! Was craving crab drenched in butter, garlic and Cajun spices- spicy of course! Went for the WHOLE Dungeness crab! OMG! Soooo yummy! Crab meat was tender and plump. Love it when I'm able to pull out a big chunk of meat and savor it. Also got a pound of shrimp for family. I normally don't care too much for shrimp BUT I tried one anyways! It was actually delish! Plump and juicy and not fishy at all! And of course corn and potatoes a must! We also got Basil pasta, stir-fried veggies and rice. All very very good!

We are visiting from Central Valley. And this place was really good. The portion seems bigger than it was. Fast and speedy service too.

Great and speedy service! Cajun was really good and big portion. We got 3lbs of shrimp 3lbs of crawfish, and chicken Alfredo for the kids.

The food was absolutely amazing--great quality and full of flavor. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and exceeded my expectations. You can really tell they put care into every dish. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The service was amazing too

Fish & Sweet fries. Actually it's disrespectful to fish and chips to call this the same.
    Larry P.

The steak was excellent and the shrimp boil was as well. The fish and chips were a frozen variety and not up to par with the other dishes we had. Also the calamari looked like onion rings and were not appetizing. Ive never seen calamari like that.

Crab station: snow crab legs, crawfish, easy peel shrimp, black mussels, corn, sausage, potatoes.

We had a great experience at the Crab Ave. We arrived around 4:40pm on a Sunday and we didn't have to wait at all. The food was amazing, the clam chowder was delicious, the seafood basket was really good too. We ordered from the crab station and when we got the food the food was not overcooked. We chose the "fire" level and will say it wasn't spicy at all for us but the Cajun flavor was good. The ambiance was a typical for a seafood restaurant. Would definitely come back and recommend this place.

First time here, and this place did not disappoint! Very clean ambiance . I am a very picky eater, and I loved the food here. Great seasoning. Alex is the BEST Server. Will be coming back soon.

Bloody hell -- Cajun Craving is the spot. I walked in expecting solid seafood. I walked out…read morewondering how the hell they haven't been handed a Michelin star already. Let's start with the Cajun shrimp: perfectly cooked, tender, and absolutely drenched in a sauce so flavorful it should come with a warning label. Not salty, not greasy -- just balanced, bold, and outrageously addictive. You taste it once and immediately know someone in that kitchen actually gives a damn. And the crab legs... my god. HUGE, sweet, and steamed to perfection. You crack into them and it's like opening a treasure chest -- except instead of gold, it's pure, buttery, Cajun-kissed heaven. Now the sausage -- whoever seasons that deserves a raise. It doesn't just sit in the bag like an afterthought. It has its own flavor, completely over the top in the best possible way. Smoky, spicy, rich... it punches through the boil like it's auditioning for its own dish. But the real sleeper hit? THE GREEN SAUCE. Off. The. Chain. A straight-up flavor knockout -- bright, herby, tangy, and absolutely lethal in the way good sauces should be. It elevates everything you dip it in. I could drink it. I won't -- but I could. The whole experience? Different -- but in that rare, memorable, "I need to come back tomorrow" kind of way. Cajun Craving is easily one of the best seafood boils in LA. No nonsense, no shortcuts, just pure, serious, crafted flavor. Five stars. Easy. Gordon Ramsay approved.

Creamy and tomato-y. Shrimp was cooked well but the mussels were a bit overcooked. Would probably get the shrimp one next time instead of house specialty. Shrimp and grits: shrimp was overcooked, grits were fine. Super cheesy! Oyster poboy: pretty good. Oyster isn't my first choice but it was done well. Came with fries but we upgraded to the clam chowder. It was only ok. Chowda tots: fries and tots were very crispy, cooked perfectly. Toppings though made it more like a salsa or loaded potato. Nothing about it felt like chowder.

The shrimp were cooked to just the right consistency, not overdone and rubbery. It also came with sausage, which was plump and flavorful. Not too spicy. The oysters were fresh, briny and paired with lots of lemon (upon request) and Tapatio. Delicious! The garlic bread was good, and supported the meal well. Our server, Nick, was great. Attentive, helpful with the menu and Johnny-On-Spot with more napkins, lemons and refills. We got there at around 5:30, without a wait (for a party of two). However, it was already packed, and by the time we left, there was a good amount of people waiting to be seated. The restaurant was clean, lively and bustling. There are even robots rolling around delivering food, utensils, etc. A pretty cool experience. Especially if you want great gumbo and cornbread. Things to know: First off, the food is delicious. Second off, this place has an A rating for food inspection. The place is a registered business (or else you couldn't list yourself on Google Maps) Besides... you live in LA and have survived danger dogs. That A rating should help you feel relieved, either way. If not, the smile you receive as you get the food hopefully will. You have to go up a few stairs on the left to get to the spot. Don't worry, there's signs that'll tell you where it is. Parking situation is a rough during rush hour but you should be able to squeeze in the street. You get some beads with your food, which is cute. Sounds like a fun thing to get if you ordered delivery while you're drinking at home (or work) with friends. So yeah, the food is great. It's super well made. The quality is what I was hoping for from a place that specialized in gumbo. Much like how I would expect the ramen to be good when they serve nothing but ramen. 100% recommend getting the cornbread with the gumbo, btw. I totally ate most of it while I was driving home so I'd say I recommend getting extra. (they're conveniently bite sized. I couldn't help. Lol)
