    Whole Dungeness Crab
    Sunny C.

Haven't had Crab Avenue in a while! Was craving crab drenched in butter, garlic and Cajun spices- spicy of course! Went for the WHOLE Dungeness crab! OMG! Soooo yummy! Crab meat was tender and plump. Love it when I'm able to pull out a big chunk of meat and savor it. Also got a pound of shrimp for family. I normally don't care too much for shrimp BUT I tried one anyways! It was actually delish! Plump and juicy and not fishy at all! And of course corn and potatoes a must! We also got Basil pasta, stir-fried veggies and rice. All very very good!

I visited Crab Avenue with a friend. Since we visited on a weekday afternoon, there weren't other customers at the time. We had their Chef's Special medium spicy, good for two. The shrimps that came with it were all shell-off, and it was like Jambalaya without the rice. The carb substitute was instead garlic bread - toasty - but a tad too charred, and five pieces for two. The Chef's Special was good, but if this is a signature, it definitely felt lacking. There was a modest amount of shrimp amongst a bed of veggies. (The plate was very large, and there really was just a single layer of shrimp and veggies.) Overall, service was great, but the food was not too impressive.

It was our first time coming here. The server was really helpful and let us take our time ordering. He answered any questions we had and even gave us recommendations! He constantly checked if we needed anything and made sure we had a great experience. The food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back!

We are visiting from Central Valley. And this place was really good. The portion seems bigger than it was. Fast and speedy service too.

Great and speedy service! Cajun was really good and big portion. We got 3lbs of shrimp 3lbs of crawfish, and chicken Alfredo for the kids.

The food was absolutely amazing--great quality and full of flavor. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and exceeded my expectations. You can really tell they put care into every dish. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The service was amazing too

Fish & Sweet fries. Actually it's disrespectful to fish and chips to call this the same.

The steak was excellent and the shrimp boil was as well. The fish and chips were a frozen variety and not up to par with the other dishes we had. Also the calamari looked like onion rings and were not appetizing. Ive never seen calamari like that.

First time here, and this place did not disappoint! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean ambiance[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . I am a very picky eater, and I loved the food here. Great seasoning. Alex is the BEST Server. Will be coming back soon.

The salmon was buttery and melt-in-your-mouth good, the dynamite tuna brought just the right amount of spice and flavor, and the scallops were incredibly fresh, sweet, creamy, and tender. It's hard to pick a favorite when they're all this good! To balance out all the fresh seafood, we also ordered the fried onion rings and fried zucchini. Both came out perfectly golden and crispy, adding that satisfying crunch to the meal. What really stood out was that even after being fried, you could still taste the natural sweetness of the onions and zucchini. They weren't greasy at all--just light, crisp, and dangerously easy to keep snacking on. Between the quality of the seafood and the delicious sides, it's easy to see why Fish King has such a loyal following. Whether you're stopping by for poke, fresh fish, or just craving some seriously good seafood, this spot is always worth the trip. I'll definitely be back for more!

You can tell they genuinely want to create something special, not just inside the store, but for the whole community around them. That's awesome. Second, the food here is phenomenal and actually priced well. It's refreshing to find a place that serves such high-quality food at prices that still feel decently affordable. Their lunch menu is next level just the photos alone will make you drool, and again great prices considering 2026's economy. It is delicious, satisfying, and honestly a better value than many cafes that charge the same or more for food that is nowhere near as good. The ladies who run the shop are also incredibly friendly, warm, and personable. They are always courteous, fun to talk to, and bring such great energy to the space. Every visit feels welcoming and upbeat and I look forward to coming in to grab a huge pack of smoked salmon for $18 and some fresh Russian bread (toasted with butter!) for a few bucks. In a time where just about everything has gotten so expensive, isn't it time we change our habits to support local businesses that are doing incredible work? They're sandwiches are top-notch, their meats are divine, and they use fresh and great tasting produce. The draw back is this place is very crowed during peak times and it a little too small considering the amount of customers that come. I've driven past Papa's Meat and Seafood on Glenoaks Blvd a dozen times, on our many trips to the area. We alway promising that we would stop in, and I'd finally stop in. Honestly, my only regret is waiting this long. I ordered the Luka Sandwich, which is loaded with their 14-hour smoked pastrami brisket, cheddar, pickled cherry peppers, iceberg, and Papa's aioli on toasted sourdough. The pastrami itself is a work of art--smoky, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and seasoned perfectly without being a total salt bomb. The pickled cherry peppers give it this incredible, bright pop of heat that cuts right through the richness of the beef. It's a messy, beautiful monster of a sandwich.  My wife went with the Surf 'n' Turf Bowl, which comes with their marinated "Crack Shrimp" and grilled angus beef over rice with a fresh shirazi salad. The beef was incredibly tender, but those crack shrimp stole the show--snappy, heavily seasoned, and completely addictive. You can clearly taste the quality of a high-end butcher shop in a casual, quick-service lunch.  The only reason I'm knocking off one star is the wait time and the seating is also pretty limited, so it's much better suited for a grab-and-go situation than a sit-down date night. That being said, the quality of the meat here blows standard sandwich joints completely out of the water. If you're in Burbank and want a lunch that actually feels high-quality and satisfying, do yourself a favor and drop in. I'm already eyeing the A5 Wagyu Cheesesteak for my next visit!

Tonight was meant to be a special birthday dinner for me, and although the restaurant was very busy with large parties, our table of two felt completely forgotten the entire evening. We spent a significant amount of money (around $150) and yet received very little attention once larger groups arrived. The most frustrating part was waiting nearly an hour after asking for boxes and the check. We had to flag down our waiter multiple times, and when we finally asked again, instead of apologizing, he responded as if we had been waiting by choice. It honestly left us shocked because we had already asked previously and had simply been ignored. What disappointed me even more was the manager's response. After asking whether we were satisfied, I explained that the restaurant appeared understaffed for the number of large parties being handled and that smaller tables were clearly being overlooked. His response was essentially that everyone is treated fairly, but unfortunately that was not our experience at all. I understand restaurants get busy, especially with large events, and I would have completely understood a sincere acknowledgment of the delay. Most restaurants at least apologize properly, check in, or offer some small gesture after such a long wait. Instead, we felt dismissed. It was also disappointing that despite mentioning it was a birthday celebration, there was no acknowledgment whatsoever -- not even a small candle or dessert gesture that many restaurants typically offer to help make guests feel welcomed and appreciated. I truly used to enjoy coming here, which is why this experience was so upsetting. The atmosphere and entertainment are beautiful, but service matters too, and tonight we left feeling ignored rather than valued as returning customers.

The menu changes enough to keep every visit interesting, especially the changing oyster selection. This time we had the Lil Namskaket oysters, which were clean, briny, and slightly sweet. Since we shared just about everything in our group of 4 this time, I got to try a wide variety of dishes. The Jonah crab cocktail was a highlight and ended up being my favorite shared plate. The tuna aguachile was bright and refreshing, the Sicilian crudo let the quality of the fish shine, the smoked trout dip (a repeat because it's so good) was creamy and smoky and was paired with crackers, and the scallop tostada was fresh and beautifully balanced. The two dishes that keep bringing me back, though, are the chowdaaa and the lobster bisque roll. As someone who grew up in New England, I'm pretty picky about my lobster rolls, and this one absolutely holds its own here on the West Coast. The clam chowder is another must-order. I don't care if it's the middle of summer during a heatwave--if it's delicious, it's delicious. The fried cod sandwich was satisfying and straightforward, and even the frites were addictive enough that I kept reaching for more. We skipped dessert this time because we were stuffed, but I've had the key-lime pie before and highly recommend saving room for it if you can do it. What I appreciate most about Found Oyster is its consistency. Every single time, the food has been outstanding, the service has always been friendly, and it's a place I genuinely look forward to returning to. If you're a seafood fan, this one absolutely deserves a visit. Street parking can be tough so plan accordingly.
