    Family Feast
    Brad M.

Flaming Grill Buffet is now Crab Du Jour. For their "grand opening" my order was 15% off so for about $45 my wife and I what was deemed a family feast. We were both very full after it, but you'd have to have a small family for it to be enough for the entire family (you only get 2 pieces of corn, so if you order this for more than 2 people someone's going to be cornless). We had the 1lb crawfish, 1lb shrimp (I paid an extra $3 for them to be headless), and 2 lobster tails. Obviously it's frozen seafood but it was pretty good for inexpensive frozen seafood. We chose the cajun and medium spicy level. I could have got hotter, but it was a good level for my wife.

We opted for the $20 drink package for unlimited Mimosas and Bloody Mary's which was a tremendous deal. Rob was attentive to every detail, as always. I think I ate the entire ocean at the raw bar, from shrimp and crabs to claims and oysters. I had 3 helpings. And most importantly, the mothers (my wife and mother) thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Stone Terrace had a "build your own bouquet" station, live music, as well as areas for photos. We will definitely be back for Mother's Day next year.

We followed the signs to find the restaurant and there was plenty of parking right outside. We were seated immediately and I loved the dim lighting in the restaurant, although it was maybe a little strange that there were football games playing on two big screen TVs. I was looking for a more romantic setting for our date night, but it wasn't a huge deal. Our server, Will, did a great job throughout. The table bread was very light and airy, and the olive oil served with it was pretty decent tasting. I got the crab cakes for myself, while my wife got the grouper. The food was prepared reasonably quickly, and it was very tasty! In hindsight, I wish I would have gotten different sides (maybe mashed potatoes versus roasted potatoes, and a different veggie instead of green beans), but that's on me :) The menu online didn't have any prices when I looked, so I can inform you guys that the crab cakes were around $35 and the grouper was something like $30. We ended up finishing with the tiramisu, which was also quite tasty and good for sharing! Also, the wine and beer list was OK - I ended up getting some not-so-great pinot noir by the glass, but nothing too offensive. It did look like they had a pretty well stocked bar, so if you're into cocktails, they could probably make you something interesting. Overall, the food was very good, and I would definitely come back here.

I felt like I was in the city with the gorgeous lighting and ambiance. My friend and I went on ladies night, where every Wednesday they have a DJ and 10% off food/drinks at the bar! We started off with 3 different apps, the zucchini fritte, the meat and cheese board for two, and the rice balls. Everything was phenomenal! The rice balls were stuffed with shredded beef instead of ground beef which I liked and the Gorgonzola cheese sauce was tangy and savory. The zucchini fritte was fried to a golden crisp and felt light and satisfying. The meat and cheese board is truly perfect for pairing with some pre-dinner drinks! Neither of us felt like drinking that night so I got the Stella Rose red berry spritz and she got the black berry spritz. These were fruity and sweet and perfect for a night out. Great alcohol free options. For dinner I got the cacio e pepe which came in a huge serving. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and I really liked how creamy and cheesy it was without feeling too heavy. My friend got the eggplant rollatini which was a humongous portion and she devoured it and still had some for leftovers. These were both great meat-free options. For dessert I had the chocolate lava cake which was rich and decadent. Perfect for sharing but mine was all for me! My friend had the creme brûlée which she indulged on without a single bite to spare! Can't forget to mention the impeccable service! Our server Andres was so sweet and took excellent care of us and always checked in with us. I'm so glad I finally checked out Spigola! This is a perfect restaurant for a great meal. Since it is an elevated atmosphere, this makes it extra special for birthdays, anniversaries, date nights, etc. With their big event space in the back, Spigola's is a wonderful spot for showers, rehearsal dinners, parties, even intimate weddings. What a wonderful gem to have in the Mercer county dining scene!

I was also intrigued to see how Harpoon Willy's would utilize this excellent space formerly known as Centro and a few other businesses. The ambience was top notch. We opted for the more dimly lit and lower ceiling bar area. The menu featured a wide variety of meat and seafood entrees, and some tasty appetizer choices. We ordered the "Firecracker Shrim" which was generously portioned and delicious. For entrees, I had a burger, while my wife enjoyed the "Downtown Fork & Knife" - essentially a burger topped by a big crabcake. The craft cocktail menu was well-done, with some just-released Spring seasonal cocktails. As a cocktail afficionado, I'm excited to say that Harpoon Willy's "Lavender Pisco" cocktail is one of the finest that I've enjoyed in recent years. Incredibly well-balanced and delicious! Our server "Kelly B." was friendly, professional, and informative. Pricing was a good value for the high-quality food, drinks, and service. Harpoon Willy's also has an upcoming wine & food course dinner that looks like a great value and fantastic experience. 5-stars, I definitely recommend Harpoon Willy's Robbinsville!
