I think it's a west coast thing but in New Orleans - the boil is where you season your food. I don't like sauce and I don't want to have to peel through sauce to get to my crawfish. I thought it landed slightly on the sweet side, but was perfect once I added the provided lemon to it. Tip: it does take about 15 to 20 minutes for the seafood to come out. So order it first. I give this place 2.5/ 5. I know this place is new and lots of potential to be better and adjustments. We ordered the all you can eat as they also do ala cart option. You are allowed to order 1 crab legs per person only as part of the all you can eat package. Anything after that one freebie of the crab legs, you are charged. The shrimp, black mussels, fries, crawfish are unlimited. As they were all combined to cooked, for some reason the seasoning did not hit the spot. The spice level kicked in but the seasoning was missing something. Black mussels were grainy. You can tell it was frozen as majority that was served had their shells broken in half or into pieces or some are empty and the seasoning didn't penetrate enough and it was grainy, gaimy taste, I give it 1.5/ 5. I will take green mussels instead. Next was the Shrimp quality was good but the taste was not there either 2.5/ 5 Next crab legs. I can usually snap the crab legs easily with my hands but this was be was tougher and again the seasoning did not penetrate. 2.5/5. Next was cajun fries, it was ok, over seasoned black pepper? 3/5 Hospitality was 5/5 very welcoming staff and helpful. Inside has tables and consistently being cleaned. Very impressive. They need to revisit the amount of seasoning they put into this as it is not there. I don't know the names of anyone I encountered here but here is my experience from June 6, 2026 at 7:45 PM. Customer service at this establishment is complete trash. I was EXTREMELY excited to eat here but... We waited 50 minutes to be seated. Around the 20-minute mark, a manager put a sign on the door that changed the closing time of the restaurant. It went from 10 PM to 8:45 PM. The hostess didn't allow anyone after us to be added to the waitlist. At the 45-minute mark the hostess told us that we would be seated soon. At the 50-minute mark the hostess came to us and said we wont be allowed to eat what we came there for. She offered a discount for something else. Manager came out shortly and said there's nothing they can do and there will be no discount they could give. I tried explaining how unfair the situation was but she was NOT having it. She threw the hostess under the bus several times making it seem like everything was her fault. I recorded our entire encounter. Managers at this establishment need training. Honestly, I just wanted this whole thing sorted out. It would've been great if the manager invited us back the next day with some sort of discount but that didn't happen. We waited for nearly an hour then were turned away before the original close time. They clearly don't care about their customers. read more

I want to start by saying Susie is amazing and I give her and her service 5 stars but everything else was underwhelming. The food would come out slow and they even forgot one of my items one time. Most of the girls working would send out one girl (our server Susie) to do ALL of the work. And she would do so with a smile on her face. She would go above and beyond for us but the same cannot be said about the other employees. The food was pretty good and the atmosphere was pretty cute as well. We went to this new location opened recently for Father's Day lunch. Wait was about 10 minutes to be seated and our server was a young man who explained the menu to us being our first time. We selected all you can eat option. Food started coming to the table out much delay and was excellent. There was a miscommunication with the server regarding all you can eat option. The menu indicated the is person but the server said we can share one but charged for two. They don't serve alcohol as yet. The issue we experienced was the temperature. It was very cold and couple of customers went back to their cars to get jackets. Unfortunately we didn't have any. The other issue is lack of a wash basin. Since lot of customers use hands to enjoy the good food they have lineup to the single stall restroom. Suggest taking a jacket and wet towels. In all fairness must mention that they do provide plastic gloves & bibs. All considered it's a great place for seafood. read more

My family and I recently visited Crab N Spice and decided to try their All-You-Can-Eat special at $40 per person. There were five of us in our group, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. For our first round, our entire table received only 1 lb of shrimp, 1 lb of crawfish, and 1 lb of mussels to share among five people. We placed a second round of orders right away, including snow crab legs, but after waiting more than 20 minutes, nothing arrived. By that point, we had already lost our appetite from the long wait. One of the worst feelings when dining out is being hungry while waiting for food that never comes. It's especially frustrating when you've paid for an all-you-can-eat option and never receive the items you ordered. We never got the snow crab legs, and we never received our second round of food. I don't blame our server, as they appeared to be doing their best. The issue seems to be with the restaurant's overall system and operations. Looking around the dining room, it appeared that many other tables were also waiting a long time for their orders. We always try to support new and local restaurants, and we truly wanted to have a positive experience here. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I believe this will be our first and last time dining at Crab N Spice.
