    3 piece fish & chips

These fish and chips were some of the best I've ever had! They taste fresh and don't have that fishy taste. The batter is perfectly crispy and not dripping with oil. They give you tons of condiments on the side so that each bite can be an experience! I recommend adding salt, hot sauce and tartar sauce on each bite! Next time gonna try adding on lemon cause forgot to grab that one. Only regret I have is not buying more. Just a small reminder they take Zelle or cash only

Been coming here since J was little and I'm so happy it's still around! Great service all the time and the place is always clean inside! I got the 4 Piece Fish & Chips and it was DELICIOUS! Made to order so it comes out nice and hot every time! Don't forget the Tartar Sauce & Enjoy! Northridge Fish & Chips always hits the spot!

Just wow. Coming from a person who has family from London, this has to be the closest to an Authentic Fish and Chips in Los Angeles! The chips were crispy, and the fish was well battered. While the front and the interior of the restaurant is old fashioned, looks can be deceiving. If you are ever in the area, you have to stop by this long-standing Fish and Chips store.

Get your fish & chips fix with a side of great company! The fish and calamari are super fresh and delicious - no fishy taste, just pure yum. The nicest uncle (owner?) makes you feel welcome, and the place is spotless. Great spot for catching up with friends or a date.

This little fish and chips shop is really awesome. The service is really great. Now if you want food that is quickly available don't come here. The food is always fresh and hot. They only take cash plus the price is really reasonable. See the photo of the menu. And yes I will return

Some great fish and chips at an affordable price. Like many others mentioned before, the business is CASH ONLY. I've been here two separate times and loved both experiences. The local owners cook right in front of you and the greasy deep fried smell permeates throughout the restaurant (in the best way possible). Having had some of the best fish and chips in the UK, how does Northridge Fish & Chips compare? I'd say pretty good! The fish fillets are fried crispy. The chips (fries) can be hit or miss. They were a bit overcooked and undercooked on two separate occasions, but still tasty nonetheless. The shrimp is delicious and perfectly crispy. Each combo comes with ketchup and tarter sauce in tiny ramicons, but you're welcome to ask for the bottle. The owners are super friendly and will smile and greet everyone as they enter. Service is pretty quick and smooth considering the 1-2 man show. Overall, it's a great chippy and would rank as an above average chip shop in the UK. This was some great comfort food after a long and rainy day of work.

A small little mom and pop type restaurant that's cash only. The environment is designed to grab-and-go vs. sit down and eat. The fried zucchinis were slightly overcooked and covered with a little too much batter. The mini shrimps were great. They're dollar coin sized shrimp covered with just enough batter and fried well. The 3 piece combo wasn't bad. Their dollar coin owner cuts a jumbo shrimp in half so it fries in an almost horseshoe look to it. The white fish is basic. It lacked enough seasoning to taste great and over battered. Lastly the chips. I've seen other pictures and it seems fairly common that they are overcooked. They became dark and tough to eat because of how long they were cooked in the oil. I don't think I the shrimp though is good enough to make me return for just that.

A solid unassuming fish and chips joint that's been in business for ages. First thing to note, they are cash only. Which personally I prefer over the no cash businesses. The service is great and the food is made-to-order so you know the fish will be hot and crispy. The fries are decent and the fish is great. Pricing is pretty affordable too. They aren't chasing after trends, just serving up good food consistently. I know Northridge Fish & Chips will do the job when I want some fish & chips. Parking is usually easy. No restrooms. I'll be back as long as they're around!

This version is a quarter-pound beef Frank, split and grilled to a nice char, topped with the appropriate suspects: mustard, relish, pickles, onions and sport peppers. I deleted the tomatoes and added extra peppers. Served on a hearty roll rather than a bun, this is much more of a meal than a snack, with loads of flavor coming from very fresh ingredients, and a pleasing punch coming from the peppers. Even if you keep the tomato on yours, definitely add extra peppers. The dog comes à la carte, but I added a side of their scratch-made onion rings, and they did not disappoint. Thinly sliced onions are dipped in a frothy beer batter and lightly fried, rendering them crispy, sweet and very tasty without being greasy or heavy. Perfect for dipping in any number of sauces, though they serve a side of ranch by default. Chris was tending bar, and took good care of me despite the place being very crowded for trivia night. We lucked out and got the last booth before the dinner rush. The place looked exactly like it did last time we came. Staff was still friendly. They don't accept cash, only cards/tap to pay. Their menu looked different. Wish I had taken a photo. You have an option to build your own boil by choosing your protein, sauce, spice level and add in's. They still don't allow you to mix garlic butter and lemon pepper sauces. You're forced to get the Kickin mix which includes Cajun even if you're not a fan of that flavor. They also have a kids menu with 2 choices, appetizers and family combos. Always intimidating ordering from a menu that doesn't disclose the pricing up front. That's the weirdest thing. Even restaurants in Beverly Hills have pricing on their menus. We got the family feast which feeds up to 4 people and had a combo of crab, mussels, shrimp, sausage, rice, potato and corn which was about $107. (Side note, they charge 50 cents for a pair of gloves and they do not provide you with a little towelette to wipe before or after your meal) This I have to admit was a pretty good deal considering it's a good amount of seafood. They serve it to you in a large metal bowl. We asked for mild since we had toddlers, but because of the Cajun in the sauce (that they force you to get if you want garlic butter and lemon pepper flavor) it was more of a medium, and the kids could not tolerate the heat. Which wasn't a bad thing since that meant more for us grown ups. Ordered them a side of truffle fries which was not too bad actually. We also ordered some of their specialty drinks which come in huge cups. We tried asking for two small empty cups so the kids could share our drinks, but they refused to provide that to us. According to the waiter, it's the restaurant policy that they can only provide water cups, but we have to figure out what to do with the water inside. (Insert face palm emoji) Also they do not provide buckets for your shells so we weren't sure what to do with all that water but drink it. The cups are thin paper cups to pair perfectly with those gross paper straws. By the time we finished the water the cups were pretty mushy already. Needless to say we couldn't finish all our food so we asked for it to go, reluctantly as we hoped they weren't going to try and charge us for those to go bags as well. Pro's: they brought the food out quickly. The food tasted freshly cooked. Con's: don't know where to begin. Parking lot sucks since it's shared with multiple other businesses. There is no place for you to sit and wait outside the restaurant. You'll need to stand outside by the parking lot and pray you don't get side swiped by some crazy driver. Menu has hidden pricing. They charge 50 cents for gloves and do not provide wipes for after your meal. They don't provide a bucket/container to place your seafood shells so it gets mixed in with your other food on the table. Can't even ask for an empty cup for kids. They don't let you customize your sauces your way. Sad to say after all this time my review for this place is still a solid 2 stars.
