My experience at Crabby Steve's was TERRIBLE. First off, this is NOT a public restaurant it is for visitors staying at/near High Point Resort. I felt like I was getting punk'd just trying to find the place. Then, after the 20+ minutes it took to park/walk here--I find an average bar and grill with cranky, crabby service. We LOVE to eat at Crabby Steve's. To the guy who gave a bad review on a pork sandwich...You don't go there for Pork! Steve gets fresh fish and shrimp off the boat EVERYDAY! Do not waste your time coming here purely AWFUL customer service... the hostess is extremely rude with botched botox. I don't understand how someone can be that rude especially when you first walk up. Also she wants to claim that she is trying to do social distancing but her and her staff aren't wearing masks and she's touching everything in site using the same wet rag. Had a great lunch at Crabby Steve's this week. The food was excellent and very reasonable for being beach front. The best part of our meal was Crabby Steve! He came out and entertained our kids - they had an absolute blast. Our waitress was great as well. I had the Triple Tail fish sandwich (special today) and my wife had the crab cake sandwich. It's were excellent. Kids had a cheese quesadilla and the bean and cheese burrito which were great as well! Highly recommend if you're hanging on the beach in Rosemary. read more

Being nice by giving two stars because our experience was TERRIBLE. We went tonight with 10 of our friends to celebrate a birthday. We have never been here before, and decided to try Crabby Steve's for dinner. When we arrived, no one helped us or spoke to us so we assumed it was self-seating (there were also no signs saying "please wait to be seated" or anything like that). We found a table in the back that fit all of us. After about 15 minutes of employees walking by us and no one acknowledging us at all, my friend (birthday girl) walked to the bar and asked if we were supposed to order at the bar (once again, never been here - we did not know). The bartender then proceeded to rudely tell her "well no but y'all just walked in and sat yourself and that's not what you were supposed to do but I'll send someone over." When our server (couldn't tell you her name because she never introduced herself) finally arrived at the table, she immediately had an attitude and obviously did not care to help us. The menu has no descriptions of meals, but it was the biggest inconvenience to her that we had questions (most of which she answered incorrectly because the food came out different than she described). Finally, she brings out our check and sets it on the table and says "I don't know how y'all want to do this but here's the check." First of all, there were ten of us. All separate checks. So we asked her if she could separate them by meals so we could pay. She then tells us that she can't do that bc it's too much, too many people. So she allowed us to sit there and order food and never mentioned that everything would be on one bill left for one person to take care of. We're college students. What would she have done if none of us had $200 to cover everyone's dinner? Just terrible service from start to finish. read more

We couldn't eat here b/c we weren't staying in highpoint. If you want to go to this place you have to park in public parking and walk 1/4 of a mile there and back. It was overcast and we didn't want to risk the rain. So if you are staying off property, know before you go. read more

Love love love this place!! We would have ate here every single day if the rain didn't make it hard to access the restaurant from the beach. The crab sandwich is AMAZING and the drinks are great! Great location, short walk on the beach from Rosemary. We stayed at the same place a year ago and had no idea this place was even here. Great beach find with a view! The food and pina coladas were delicious! Only complaint is they don't have high chairs. read more

Located behind the High Pointe in Seacrest, they feature great fresh seafood (they literally have stuff bright in daily), a fantastic view and friendly servers all in a very laid back atmosphere. I've had the scallops and the tripletail and both were very good. Prices were reasonable as well. If you're wandering the beach in Seacrest and are looking for lunch, find the blue roof at the top of the stairs. You won't be disappointed. read more

My family has been coming to High Pointe for many years and Crabby Steve's is one of the main reasons why we don't even consider staying anywhere else. Love the delicious food, love the view, and mostly I love all the amazing people that work there (extra special shout out to my favorite bartender Rhonda). The price points are pretty low considering the quality and freshness of the food and the location. As far as how you are treated as a patron, you will get the attitude that you give (lighten up, you're on vacation). Nobody there is going to kiss your ass, (who wants that anyway?) but they will do whatever they can to go out their way to make your experience a good one(sorry no special treatment for unreasonable requests). The employees there sweat and work their butts off everyday and still manage to be fun and personable. Crabby Steve may be "crabby" (or hilarious depending on how you take it), but as an owner he takes the time to help out around the restaurant when they are busy and makes time to visit and make friends with the patrons. read more

This place is a great. The daily specials are great, we have had the swordfish sandwich and the tuna and avocado sandwich. The fish is fresh, perfectly cooked, with a great crust and flavor. The fries are great, but the slaw is also good (although a bit too much mayo). The drinks are also great. There is a full bar with a local draft beer. My wife loves the blueberry Pina colada with the dark rum floater. The kids also will not be disappointed. The burgers and kids items are great. Make sure you have Steve throw your son a pass on the beach. One thing to remember is that this restaurant is a condo amenity, so condo owners "could" take your table if the place is busy, although I have not seen it happen. They also do to go orders for the beach. read more

went to this place for mother's day and was met with a waitress who commented on us wearing masks saying "you know it's florida. you don't have to wear that. you can breath here." you can have your own views on the subject but that is not an appropriate thing to greet a costumer with. sat down and ordered a tuna dip and asked for a side of veggies with it. the server looked confused for this simple order. overall terrible customer service and the food isn't really worth it either. with it being difficult to get to, I would suggest going somewhere else. read more

I've been here 3 years in a row and yesterday had the most rude service in awhile. The hostess was extremely rude from when we first arrived. My brother and I were meeting my Dad there and I guess because we were younger it didn't seem like we had any common sense to the hostess. She was talking to people at the bar so we were unaware we needed to see her before siting. (Also the fact that it's literally located on a boardwalk where people walk up barefoot with bikini bottoms sitting on the seats) she said "oh I guess you guys haven't been here before or know how it works" because we assumed we weren't supposed to be seated. She then grabbed 3 menus instead of 4 for our group when we told her we had 4 people, so we reminded her we said 4 in case we were misheard. (a completely understandable mistake) But when we reminded her, she proceeded to point to the fourth chair at the table saying "there's a forth seat here" like we couldn't count as college students instead of adults, who are likely the basis of their costumers leaving heavy tips based on how many piña coladas they could get down during lunch. Overall, sad my father met us halfway through lunch instead of the beginning, to witness the rude behavior we received upon arrival. Probably wouldn't have experienced it if he was present. So if your twenty, and looking for a good beach restaurant, stay away from rude lady up front, her lip fillers rely on your purchase. But everyone else was very friendly and helpful. read more

Ate here at lunch time mid day and the owner Steve yelled at us because we wanted to move an umbrella from an unused table to our big group table that was in the blazing sun and continued to be rude with little kids at our table. My husband and I casually strolled through an open gate onto the beach (no markings) thinking it was public access. Had a great lunch at this restaurant. Then went to go back to our car and had to walk through a hotel lot... were treated like criminals by the gate guards when we went to leave. This restaurant is not accessible nor warm to anybody not staying in the HighPointe community. First off, you will not be able to access this restaurant from the road...there is no parking lot to park in. You have to access it from the beach. Even then, there are signs all over the access walkover saying "Private Property" and "Only for HighPointe Owners and Guests". Then when you get up to the restaurant itself, the sign says "Crabby's is an AMENITY for HighPointe Guests". This was not welcoming at all, we decided to turn right around and go back to the beach. I tried calling to confirm, but the phone kept ringing and nobody answered. This is a disappointment, but they don't seem to concerned with serving anybody but High Pointe guests, and NOT the rest of Seacrest Beach. The location needs to be changed to HighPointe! read more

This is a great place for a fresh fish sandwich and sweet potato fries. It has beautiful views of the water and is a fun atmosphere. The only reason for 4 stars is due to the difficulty of getting there. You have to be a resident of the condo in front of it to have any access from the road. They are really strict and won't let anyone through their entrance. It is surrounded by private beaches and homes and you have to walk about a mile from the nearest public entrance down the beach to get to it. If you're staying in a place in Rosemary or Seacrest you could access it easier through the private beach entrance, but otherwise it is a hike. read more
