Food was decent, but It wasn't anything special for the amount of our bill. Unfortunately, we were sat right next to the server station upstairs. I would highly suggest removing this table; Listening to the servers "trash talk" during our meal ruined the experience. read more

Nice restaurant - large enough to easily go in for a sit down meal (something I found tricky to figure out since we were on vacation.) Food was very good, especially loved the fried shrimp and crab cakes. All of the wait staff were absolutely lovely and our waitress stopped by regularly to check in on us. There were four of us for lunch. The service was extremely slow. I ordered the Mahi blackened sandwich. It was the worst food ever and not edible. It even had an horrible stench that would not wash off my hands from when I picked it up. I would have sent it back but by the time waitstaff finally showed back up everyone was through eating. We ordered grouper bites and a spicy shrimp appetizer. We were disappointed that it was not fresh seafood. So my family and I went there for breakfast. The sign said Breakfast was severed from 8am to 11:30. We arrived were seated at 11:20. They weren't busy at all and the staff were RUDE and refused to serve us breakfast.needless to say we wont be going back and don't recommend going there if you want to eat. We just stopped in for a quick drink at noon after having a late breakfast. Beer was nice and cold. Our server Kayla was very friendly, and knowledgeable, and after listening to her we decided to try the in-house hand made crab patty. It was one of the best we have had! Not over done with fillers or smothered with a heavy breading. The crab was sweet and the seasoning spot on. The light sear on the outside was perfect. Honestly, I thought this was just okay. Sat upstairs outside and to say it was hot was to understate it. The only table was by the false pitched roof entrance and the heat radiated off the shingles like an asphalt parking lot. Small umbrellas scattered about didn't do much to beat the heat. The name was misleading, too! "Beachside" ...about like a block away! The image on google maps made it seem like only sand and A1A separated them and the ocean. But it's the public parking lot and fire department you see and hear and not the waves and sounds of nature. Next time I want outside rooftop dining with a breeze and good food, I'll go back to Tortugas in Flagler Beach! read more

Awful service. Our waiter knew nothing about the food or drink menu. We asked him about the oysters and he told us about the clams. Our oysters were not shucked correctly. Sandy and no juice. The royal red shrimp were delicious. They advertised live music (we even double checked the date and time) but when asked nobody knew about why it wasn't happening. The food is mediocre at best. Portions very small even on sides like corn and grits. Seafood prices is beyond market prices. Servers are not educated on the menu. They would not modify street corn to no cilantro.... Ambiance is great but not worth the $$$. read more

We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, supposedly stuffed with crab but there was no crab to be found. Just mushy and gooey. Fish and chips were over cooked, fish dry. A/C seemed to be on the fritz. The service was definitely great. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Even when my family sat outside one of the employees repositioned the umbrella for our family so the sun wouldn't be hitting us. My first time at Crabby's Beachside and heard some good things about it. I've never eaten a tuna bowl so when I saw that on the menu I had to try it. I ordered To-Go and waited about 20 minutes at the bar. I didn't see a separate seating area for To-Go orders so I sat at the bar. The Tuna Bowl is a restaurant specialty and was made with Ahi Tuna, coconut rice, avocado salsa, shredded carrots, wonton strips on the side, seaweed salad, cilantro cream and soygave sauce. It was a large portion in a To-Go plastic box and lid. I didn't know tuna could taste so good! Fresh, hearty but light, great accompaniments and sauces, this is my new favorite meal!
