Temp of the dining area

We recently ate at the Crabcake Factory Bayside. Easily, one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I have ever had. The food itself was very good...crab cakes were flavorful and lived up to expectations, and overall a solid meal. Service was good. Nothing particularly memorable, but nothing terrible either. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the dining room. The dining area we were seated at was extremely hot (over 85 degrees) ...needless to say it was extremely uncomfortable. We asked to move to a cooler section of the restaurant, and while there were multiple open tables available, we were told no. Bottom line: good food, average service, but the atmosphere made it hard to enjoy. I'd hesitate to recommend this spot during the summer unless the HVAC issue is addressed

2 Cups Seafood Chowder 3 Crab Cake meals served with fries and cream slaw and 1 order of Crab Pretzel Three Philly Pretzel Twists Smothered in Our Famous Crab Dip with Jack & Cheddar Cheese. Marija our server was excellent and made our evening fun. Crab Cake factory Bayside is the essence of an old sea shanty setting with great views of the bay! Always a delicious, fun place to eat, we'll be returning.

Mistaken Advertising

I went to this restaurant last night get their crab cake special as a carry out. Was told the special was only dine in only . Looking at their ad in the local paper it is not stated the words "DINE IN". I would consider that to be mistaken advertising.

Stopped into crabcake factory last Sunday morning, my party of 5 was seated promptly. They have a good brunch menu with drinks topped with crab, there is something here for everyone. Our server was attentive and fast, I got the 2x2x2x2 my pancakes were not my favorite but the eggs & bacon were done perfectly. My friend's crabcake sandwich was delicious and the fries were crispy. The beignets are also quite delicious, with the various dipping sauces. The prices were also reasonable. The inside is pretty spacious with a homey vibe. They have patio seating and I like this crabcake factory location because the views from the restaurant of the bay are gorgeous. We will definitely be back!

Classic Bloody Mary

Crabcake Factory has always been one of my all time favorite restaurants! More importantly, it has become my favorite brunch spot in recent years. If you haven't heard by now, CCF's Bloody Mary is world famous for a reason. It is without a doubt the best Bloody Mary I've ever had. You can get it loaded with bacon, shrimp, or crab. It comes with a kick and an Old Bay rim. The Crabcake skillet is my go-to brunch choice. It's crispy breakfast potatoes topped with cheese, lump crab meat, and eggs your way. It's absolutely delicious. CCF's staff is always warm, welcoming, and hospitable. This specific location is my favorite because of the atmosphere and the views of the bay. There's also often live music. I should also note that there are plenty of breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner options for non-seafood lovers, so don't be deceived by the name of the restaurant! Thank you, Crabcake Factory, for being a local staple and a year-round favorite.

Our food, service, and the bay view was wonderful! We went for a late breakfast - my husband got the breakfast combo, I had the Grand Marnier French Toast and my daughter had the Breakfast Tacos along with a virgin Pina Colada- everything was delicious! A new favorite for our beach trips!

Triple Threat Bloody Mary

Top Notch Bloody Mary!! I remember from my visit last year just how good their Bloody Marys and again they didn't disappoint. I did forgot how great their happy hour is though. Monday-Friday 12-6 with $6 Bloody Marys / Orange Crushes and $3 Rail Drinks along with other options. We stopped by one day on our way back to the house for drinks coming from another restaurant. We got seats at the bar and ordered a Triple Threat Bloody Mary and 3 orange crushes. The triple threat is topped with lump crab, shrimp, bacon, an olive, green beans, and a tomato. It was definitely a meal in itself. Something I'm happy I ordered but wouldn't need to order again. Each crush is made with fresh, hand squeezed orange juice to order and they tasted great. After I finished the Triple Threat I stuck with bloody marys off of the happy hour menu. Their house made Bloody Mary mix is delicious and they're served with spicy, pickled green beans that we couldn't get enough of. The bartenders were nice and personable, especially the girl who waited on us the second day (I'll get more into that later on). The atmosphere was laid back and it seemed as if there were lots of locals and regulars at the bar. The location is great being right on the water, but the parking is a pain. The lot is small and crammed but we had no issues finding parking either days. We enjoyed the drinks so much we decided to go back again a couple of days later, this time to order food as well. We had a shaved prime rib sandwich (which my mom really enjoyed), a burger, mussels, crabby pizza, and jerk wings. The bartender really made sure she walked us through what to expect with each menu item we ordered even though we didn't ask. We appreciated her insight and thoroughness with the menu. I heard the burger was okay, and I thought the same about the wings and mussels. I did like the crabby pizza, but the food I choose wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be. I know we'll be back to the Crabcake Factory Bayside at some point next June. The bloody marys and orange crushes for $6 are just way too good to pass up.

Beignets

First time dining at CCF Bayside and definitely not the last! We were blown away at how delicious everything was! We sat outside with a lovely view of the bay. I've always wanted to try the famous CCF bloody mary and wow was it fantastic! Could definitely be a meal on its own. The beignets were fluffy and warm, served with 3 dipping sauces. Both the breakfast tacos and french toast were huge portions and very tasty! Service was very efficient and friendly. I'd recommend breakfast at CCF Bayside to everyone!

Homemade beignets

What a great breakfast! It started off with a crab bloody Mary which was amazing! Lots of lump crab meat piled on top of a really good bloody Mary. Yum!!! We ordered Crabcake eggs Benedict, French toast, homemade beignets, and a crab omelette. all the food was outstanding! Our waitress was really friendly and efficient. I will definitely be back!

Never disappointed at Crabcake Factory. Great service, outstanding food and drinks, great bay views. Parking can be difficult due to the small lot but we've always made it work. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the happy hour food specials. Grabbed a spot on the patio and had a relaxing view of the bay. Mussels were really great! Not usually a cream of crab soup person but that was tasty. Rockfish grilled tacos were solid but not something I'd be craving again. Not a ton of lumps but no complaints. Could taste the sherry, which I always enjoy. Shrimp were flavorful, a little smaller than some places but would order again. Nice service and look forward to going back.

Whipped Crush

We always have a great time at CCF Bayside! Saturday brunch is a must, and they are super accommodating when you want to hang out and have a few extra cocktails after your meal. Love the Triple Threat Bloody Mary, but my new love is the Whipped Crush. Pro Tip: stir the whipped cream topping into your drink, it makes it smooth and creamy and will change your life.

By far my FAVORITE place to go every time i'm in the Fenwick/OCMD area. Every time I make the drive down from PA, this is my FIRST STOP! The Crab Dip is phenomenal, the Mussels and Clams are to die for, the Crushes are delicious and refreshing. I have not tried the Bloody Marys (working up to liking tomato juice) but they look amazing and I have heard incredible things! One day I will do it! The staff is always so attentive, so upbeat, and so welcoming. They make you feel like you're a regular. It's right on the bay and if you go around sunset, it's stunning. Cannot say enough good things about it!!

Little did I know how incredibly delicious and awesome this lil' gem of a restaurant is!!! My family and I are sort of foodies so it takes a lot to impress us but we def were! I appreciate their health conscious approach like using avocado oil, and making all their dressings from scratch, even their mayonnaise, and offering lo-carb wraps at no extra charge. All of our food was delicious and flavorful, esp the carrot cale which speaks for itself!! The owner Darren literally walks around greeting customers at their tables, helping out the staff and making sure everyone is pleased with their meal. He told me that their pancake recipe has been in his family for 10 generations, right after getting us to-go boxes. My only complaint is that they arent located closer to my home and that i have to wait a whole year to go back!!!! This place is a must for breakfast/brunch/lunch and has earned a permanent spot our annual beach week trip!!

I'll give the restaurant a 4 star review for the sauces and food combinations. The fish and pork chops were an excellent choice for my guests. Unfortunately I ordered the flank steak, medium rare. I didn't send it back which would have ruined the mood of the dinner, but the pork chop took 25 minutes to prepare. The flank steak came out luke warm and was not at all tender. It would have been better medium or medium well as it was a bit rubbery. The server should have warned me when she indicated to my guest that she preferred the pork chop. She was a bit abrupt and talked too fast. The Parker house rolls were a bit dry, not warm and tough. I'm from Baltimore and Parker house rolls are should be warm, soft with a lovely aroma and melt in your mouth. The honey butter helped but not enough. We ordered the strawberry short cake for dessert. The presentation was lovely and the strawberries fresh and sweet, but the short cake was dry. I assume it was awarded the James Beard for the sauces and creative combinations, which admittedly were wonderful, but there are some simple things the chef needs to consult his grandmother on how to prepare.

Our server was awesome, explained everything well since it was our first time in. But let's get to what matters: the food. This was, hands down, the best, dining I've had in Fenwick Island. So so good. We had charred octopus, calamari, steak and the lamb meatballs. I'm still thinking about those meatballs and plotting on how to get back for more. For desert we had a sticky toffee that was better than you know what. Will absolutely return and make this a regular - we are thrilled to have found this gem in our neighborhood.

The atmosphere was bustling, and our server JJ was friendly and knowledgable. We ordered vodka and sprite, and had interest in the Daily Bread with sourdough and foccacia, but I do not like blue cheese. JJ said no problem, it could be left it out. I was skeptical because restaurants rarely leave it out when I ask, but Our Harvest was on point. The runner who delivered it to the table stressed that bleu cheese was omitted. The bread was amazing, freshly made, warm and delicious. We like to get seafood when we are at the beach, but there isn't a lot on the menu that we both would like. I do like rockfish so we decided to share the herb & lemon stuffed whole Rockfish, wood fired, flaked & tossed with brown butter. Wow, that was incredible! The brown butter was rich and nutty and added an extra level of flavor to the lemony and flaky hunks of fish. We also shared the most tender asparagus I have ever eaten, and ended with beignets. It's a good thing we had a fridge in our room because we had a lot of food to take with us. Who doesn't love a fish snack in the middle of the night!
