Located inside the Hilton Garden Inn ocean front you will find Solstice Ocean Front Bar and Grill. This is a reviews from their off season, April 2026. I waited a few minutes to be seated. I asked to be near a window. I wanted to soak up some more time looking at the sights and the lighting was perfect. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with regular bacon vs Canadian bacon, and swapped out the potatoes for fresh fruit, and an order of pancakes. Everything was fantastic! My sandwich was in a brioche bun and it complimented it perfectly! The fruit was a decent serving size. I also opted for some pancakes. I just had to satisfy a craving. It was two pancakes served with fresh fruit, powdered sugar and syrup. It hit the spot. Their menu had a few crab options for those who are looking for breakfast that includes crab. They honestly had something for everyone. Pricing was on point for it being a hotel, on the beach etc. It was to be expected. There is a comp for staying at the hotel, which helps off set the cost. My waitress was fantastic. She was hustling and taking care of all the things. She had someone help run food which I'm sure was helpful. Only downside for me was a family behind me sitting had a dog and I could smell it. Not sure if it was a service animal or not. But, yeah just something I noticed. I will definitely come back. Got there kinda late post beach - 8ish. Restaurants stay open till nine if they do kind of make a fuss over ordering at eight.? No clue. Service was decent but not excellent. We got the crabcakes which were quite expensive at $50 per two, but I will say they were outstanding as where the two desserts that we ordered the Keylime pie and the chocolate cake were both pretty delicious. You do have great views . And it doesn't hurt that we get it $20 credit per room for food and beverage per night as a Hilton Honors member. read more

The food is AMAZING!!! Went in the afternoon on a Friday which was a great time because there was no wait and service was super fast. We all ordered something different and everyone's food was delicious and presented beautifully. I had the peppercorn crusted filet mignon with truffle mashed potatoes and broccolini and it did not disappoint! Truffle fries were delicious and the wings were really good too! Cane here to celebrate my 42nd Birthday and I had an amazing time. The drinks were delicious along with the Bang Bang Shrimp. This review is specifically for the outside bar at the Hilton Garden Inn, not the indoor bar/restaurant that's also on-site. The bar hours are roughly noon to 6 PM, with a happy hour from 3 to 6 PM that we found to be one of the best values around--boardwalk or otherwise. (Technically, it's about two blocks north of the boardwalk, but close enough to count!) The drinks were well made and surprisingly affordable, especially during happy hour. The menu offered a nice variety, with options like sliders, crispy Brussels sprouts, and several other tasty bites that paired perfectly with the cocktails. We were lucky that this bar was part of the hotel where we stayed. After enjoying it on our first night, I was more than happy to return on several other afternoons. A big highlight was the exceptional bartender, Cookie, who works Thursday through Sunday. She provided great conversation, spot-on recommendations, and helped make each visit a genuinely enjoyable experience. read more

The ambiance here is beautiful. The hotel and restaurant were fully renovated recently and the restaurant has large floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beach and ocean. Our waiter was very friendly and competent. However. the kitchen has some difficulty with the timing of the food. Two out of three of the kids entrees came out way before all of the other food. My daughter was almost finished eating before we all got our food. I had the Tuna Poke and the Brussels Sprouts. The tuna poke was flavorful but I prefer my tuna to be in smaller chunks.The Brussels sprouts were delicious and so flavorful. The kids meals were decent. I like that they had the option to sub in fruit salad instead of the fries (which were not good). My older son had the Fisherman's Stew. The food is a tad pricey! It tasted good. Service is decent. Our initial engagement was less than ideal. However, our server was friendly and attentive. Value is OK. It has a very nice view. The place is very clean and the colors and decor are tastefully done. There was fun live music. Parking-there is ample parking in front of the hotel. My wife and I went here as a dinner date last weekend. Very nice setting and a great view of the beach. I have filet mignon mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. My wife had crab cakes with the same side. It was delicious. The host was very friendly and our server was on the ball through the entire meal. One little snag, my wife wanted decaf coffee. Server said there was an equipment problem and didn't have any. A few minutes later he came back with my regular coffee and also he taken the time to get decaf for my wife. We are staying for Easter at the hotel for a little family vacation! My family has had Liz two days in a row as our server and she is amazing! Today they were super busy and we had to wait a little bit while the staff bussed tables but we're seated quickly with an oceanfront view! Liz was super personable and the managers in the white shirt and the blue sweater were very sweet as they were helping deliver our food! And they had apple jelly for the toasts! The lady in the blue sweater told me a sweet story about how her grandma used to make her apple jelly and honey toast. So personable! This place knows what they're doing! Good omelettes! read more

I waited about 15 minutes at the hostess stand while multiple staff members walked by without acknowledging us. We noticed only a few other people in the restaurant, thinking it was just a slow night, but soon discovered why it was so empty. After this time, we asked a waiter if we should seat ourselves, and he eventually showed us to a table. After another 20 minutes of waiting, someone finally came over. Our waiter simply said, "Hi, I'm ready when you are," without any greeting or introduction. As a server myself, I immediately felt we should have left. After ordering drinks, the waiter brought them over, which was not what we had ordered. We waited an hour for our food, which included steak for two people, a crabcake sandwich, and grilled salmon. Everything was cold, including the sides. When one member of our group complained about the cold food, the waiter just said, "It has been under a heat lamp." The service was so bad that even the table next to us was complaining. After our complainants, the waiter said he would get his manager to remove the meal from our bill, which we greatly appreciated. The manager walked past our table, without addressing our concerns or apologizing for the service and food. Although they were kind enough to remove two of our cold meals, we still paid over $100 for an awful meal. The atmosphere and beach view were beautiful, but the service and food were terrible. Don't waste your time or money, this place is awful. We got there at 7 pm and they were almost out of every fish on the menu. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed even though she only had three tables. By the time I got my salad it had no dressing, they ran out of bread and the piece of salmon was the size of a small snickers bar. She hardly every checked on us either. We had high hopes, the place has nice views and is beautifully decorated but I would definitely not recommend it especially for the prices on their menu. We ordered takeout. The order was wrong. We waited 45 minutes for it. The manager, Genna (male) told us that we could order again, another 45 minutes? The problem was instead of just breakfast sandwiches we got a whole meal with sides of potatoes that we didn't want. Instead of adjusting the price, $2 up charge each, the resolution offered was to re-order. I didn't want to argue so we just paid it. This review is three months late but I couldn't resist not writing it. I just turned 21 years old and I was on vacation with my family. I was so excited and was at this place ready to order a drink with my dad. This male bartender asked for my id and he said that they don't accept vertical ids here. What the f**k type of policy is that. I was extremely disappointed and my day had been ruined. My id literally says I turned 21 and this fu*khead literally just ruined both me and my dads day. That being said me and my sister were also trying to take a picture together and he was rude to us saying that we can't because the seats are taken. I absolutely hope this guys gets fired. Idk if he's a manager be he's gotta go. This guys is the biggest fu*king a hole I have ever encountered. We tried Solstice for the first time after eating at the Dunes Manor for years. The decor and vibe are very different, very contemporary. I liked it but it was a change from the previous restaurant. You still eat oceanfront and there are options for indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a nice new bar that provides oceanfront views inside and out. That being said the food was very good, excellent cream of crab and corn soup, our grilled rockfish and the accompanying asparagus and fingerling potatoes were fantastic. The carrot cake we had for dessert was very good. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that it seems they may still be working out some kinks in the kitchen having not been open that long: the iced did not taste very good and they forgot the corn and tomato salsa they was supposed to come with our fish. We will definitely go back and I look forward to a possible 5 stars next time. read more
