Came here after a recommendation from my brother. This location is located in what a sketch area in the hood. There are several tables outside but no chairs so you pretty much order to go. The restaurant itself has barely any room besides a small bench for customers waiting on their orders. There were several customers in front but the line moved in a steady pace. I needed a recommendation and was suggested the lobster and shrimp platter. I decided to turn it into a combo where I received crab rice and two sides, selecting Mac and cheese and potatoes. The food was made in a timely manner especially when there were 3-4 customers in front. Overall I thought the food tasted excellent. Potatoes were a little extra buttery/oily and the lobster tasted over seasoned. Shrimp was good and had decent portions and the crab rice was rather tasty as well. 4 stars overall. If this joint had tables, I'd probably give 5 stars for dining experience. read more

I dined here this evening on a whim. Jamal and Adrian were more than informative and helpful when it came to ordering and pairing the best combos together. I was really excited to write a raving review but the truth is, it was mediocre. The conch was over cooked and super greasy 3/4 of us ended throwing it up. The Mac n cheese was okay, nothing great and nothing bad. The food seafood was well seasoned and flavorful but too greasy. Customer service was amazing!!! Kept hearing all the hype about Crabman 305 on IG and the radio, so you know i just had to try it for myself. Pulled up to the location and I have to tell you that it's in a rough part of the neighbor so beware of your surroundings. It's not a big establishment so don't expect to have a sit down dinner. Take out your only option here. I ordered three different plates which were the Fried Shrimp dinner, Lobster and Shrimp combo and the Fried Conch dinner. The seafood that was ordered was very good except for the conch which was tough and chewy. I've had better at a few other places where the conch was tender and fried crispy. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and the lobster was amazing. As for the sides we ordered the Crab Fried Rice, Mac & Cheese, Steamed Broccoli, Corn and Garlic Potatoes. I was disappointed that the Broccoli was over cooked and mushy while the Mac & Cheese, Garlic Potatoes and Corn were pretty damn tasty. The Crab Fried rice was on point and definitely was the family favorite as far as the sides go. CrabMan 305 will be seeing more of me in the near future. Overall the customer service is good and the food is very good. They also have some good cakes to try like Blue Velvet Cake, Red Velvet Cake and Yellow Cake. Be aware of the sodium intake in this food. I spent $60 only to toss most of it away. Everything was too salty. I ordered the trio with Lobster tail, shrimp and conch including seafood rice and Mac and cheese. I ordered an additional wings, and fish. The Wings , Conch and Mac and cheese was the only thing tolerable for consumption. The seafood rice, fish, lobster tail and French fries was way too salty. I've visited the location over the years since it's establishment and I can say they are consistent with their food quality and taste! Some of my favorite emu items are the snow crabs, fried conch and lobster tails!!! My goodness, it's always seasoned to perfection and NEVER overcooked. The staff is super friendly, efficient and you always run into a familiar face. Orders are also always accurate and prepared to order so it's fresh, fresh. I never in a million years would've expected this place to taste like an amateur home cook made it. It's basic in every sense of the word for example, the "crab" rice. It's just yellow rice, uncooked reg and green peppers with an imitation Krab stick cut up in it. Completely underwhelming and over priced. The Mac and cheese came with a thick cold layer of cheese sitting right on top of it, it was a complete brick. My husband ordered the lobster dinner and the seasoning similar to a seafood boil but not quite as flavorful. The only thing that was good was the fried tilapia! One star. I can't even begin to say how disrespected I felt at this place. We have ordered from here several times, my boyfriend is the one to always place the orders. The one time I call with my "Hispanic" voice they tell me they don't do phone orders. I felt by the tone of the person that they just didn't feel like taking my order so I had my boyfriend call back. When going to a place like this you don't expect imitation crab meat in your crab rice which also didn't have much flavor to it. I am very disappointed about my food I got last night I was craving some good food for my last meal before surgery in the morning went there at 730pm order the L/G snow crab dinner with Broccoli and macaroni and cheese with the crab rice . My wife order the shrimp and lobster dinner with Broccoli only . We didn't get our food until 9:00pm . The lady with the dreads was very rude every time we came back in to ask if our food was ready . Then they had another young lady giving orders to people with no gloves on . Had a purse on behind the Counter . When we got our food was very cold . The Mac in cheese was so cold it was hard . The broccoli was soak in water in the Togo plate . The snow crab was very small and soak in butter no flavor at all . IM FROM CALIFORNIA they would never do no one like that . A fried seafood mecca. Unfortunately it's just not good. I visited CrabMan 305 on my recent trip to Miami. I ordered the fried shrimp/ lobster combo. I was informed that it comes with potatoes and corn. Though I'm not a big fan of potato sides, I didn't substitute or order anything else but I did opt for the lobster to be steamed instead of fried for fear of overcooked lobster. My partner ordered the fried conch and fries combo. We waited a bit for our food but finally we were set, and because this place is a takeout place we took it to go and didn't open up the food until we reached our airbnb. My partner was given chicken wings and ff instead of his fried conch. Whoa. There is a stark price difference between the two. My order was mediocre. The fried shrimp was low quality, the corn was obviously frozen and not fresh, and the potatoes had a ton of salt and old bay. The only saving grace was the lobster which was perfectly cooked. My partner calls up the place. They admit to making a mistake and asks him to return for his order and not to worry about returning the incorrect order. That was generous and a sign of good customer service, however, it was a serious inconvenience considering we were a 20 minute drive from CrabMan. We did retrieve the correct order but after such a hassle it simply wasn't worth the drive or the time. Also, the packet lemon juice and tartar sauce is simply gross. If there's anything they should look into doing it should be making their own tartar sauce (in addition to making sure orders are correct before bagging it). read more
