Today, I almost missed a gem of a named "The Crack'd located in Plantation, FL. I originally wanted to try a bakery cafe, but couldn't find it. I ran into a fried that I haven't seen in at least six years. I told him of my plight and he didn't know the location of the bakery. He suggested that I should try the restaurant called "The Crack'd", and I am glad that I did try it. This is restaurant where you can either sit inside or outside. You select your item(s), and pay for it and they give you a number so the server can bring your food to your table. I picked up a menu and begin to look at it, when a very polite young man (Brandon) approached me and asked me if this was my first time eating at this restaurant Brandon. He explained the entire menu to me , and I chose the ham and egg sandwich with the honey Sriracha sauce which was really good. The everything bagel I chose for my sandwich was very soft and I found out they are flown in from New York every day. The ham and eggs were plentiful and very tasty. But when you add the honey Sriracha sauce, it is an experience beyond belief. My iced coffee was also great. Yum! Not only does this restaurant have tasty food, it's cute and has an eco-friendly vibe too! The whole area of The Walk at Plantation has a great variety of restaurants, so Crack'd is a great addition and offers a nice, quick breakfast or lunch spot into the mix. I had a hard time deciding what to order because they have such a nice variety of items on the menu, but ultimately decided on an açaí bowl. It was sooooo good and I had a yummy flavored iced coffee to go with it. The place is a little small so if it's busy I would say it's probably hard to grab a table. I came by because I heard about this place through the grapevine & wanted a great breakfast to start the day. In the mornings, it's fairly easy to find parking in this area which is usually hard to find normally, at a later time in the day. The space is actually smaller than I thought it would be but there is still a good amount of space for seating. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, with actually more seating outside than inside. When you walk inside, you are immediately in the spot where you're going to order. When I came in, there was a lot of people in line but perusing the menu to order. The line still moved fairly quickly and the staff was super friendly. They gave recommendations when I asked and already picked a bunch of things I'd want to come back to try! After ordering, they give you a number and pick a spot to eat. The food was really good- I got the Porker Egg Sandwich and I also got the pistachio white mocha (decaf, of course, if you know me). All the flavors tied together nicely. My friend had the tender box. (FYI. They offer a full menu even during breakfast time). She enjoyed it as well. Thought the tender was a bit thin but had decent flavors. The place has tons of seating both indoors and out. We saw a bunch of people who brought their dogs out to hang out while they had breakfast. Also, while we were sitting there, we noticed a long line forming. It was only 9 something AM. Not even 10. So keep that in mind. But the line did move fairly quickly. SO excited to find another place with great gluten free options and gluten free chicken tenders at that! First off, the staff is so kind. Literally every single person is so nice and helpful. They know the menu and they know their allergy protocols. I've eaten here twice now with absolutely no issues with my celiac diet. I've had the gluten free chicken tender box both times with the ranch. Their ranch is amazing! The gf tenders come out labeled and the staff told me they have a separate area for al gf items. Today was our first time trying Crack'd and we are big fans! The food was amazing. I had the loaded hash browns with a scrambled egg and it was so hearty and flavorful. I couldn't finish it. Husband had the firebird burrito and all I can say is WOW! Don't even get me started on the coffees. They were amazing. I had the salted caramel maple iced coffee and it was so SO good. Not overly sweet, just perfect. They have fresh squeezed oj, too! We grabbed a glass of that and paired it with a bottle of Prosecco from a neighboring store and had our own little brunch. We originally were headed to another place, but it is closed on Tuesdays so we thought we would give Crack'd a try. It is quick service style. Although they did not rush me, I always feel rushed to order at this type of restaurant. We ordered, were given a number and our food & drinks were delivered to our table. I landed on a Nutty Butter Bowl. It was very good and the fruit on top was all fresh. My husband had Bella's chicken sandwich. He enjoyed it. It came with seasoned homemade potato chips, which was also good. I had coffee - it was okay. Nothing to write home about. My husband had a diet soda, which is only available in bottles. There is limited inside seating. In the Florida heat, I was glad we went during the week, as I picture they get busy on the weekends. Most of the people we saw come and go were togo orders. Parking at the plantation walk is not handicap friendly. We were lucky and there was street parking right across the street from Crack'd. Did I enjoy what I had? Yes. Would I be back? Not sure. We stopped by Crack's Kitchen on a Sunday morning and ordered the Firebird and the Big Commute. Word of advice, read the menu carefully because these "egg sandwiches" turn out to be burritos in disguise. Not the end of the world, but definitely not what you picture when you read sandwich. The Firebird was fine but bland, and the Big Commute had more flavor but really needed a sauce to pull it together. We also ordered the breakfast egg roll side, which tasted good but was so greasy it could have doubled as a skincare serum. The coffees were fine, nothing bad, but nothing to get excited about either. I was looking for a breakfast spot to pick up food on the way to my appt. Crack'd came up as having gluten free items. I placed my order online and my card was charged. When I arrived to the restaurant I attempted to ask about the pickup process. The ladies at the front seemed to be idle. When the blond girl finally activated to work she asked the people that came behind me if they were ready to order. I interjected that I was here first and needed to pick up my order. She looked confused and eventually got the attention of a couple of guys to help. My online order could not be located despite my credit card being charged. I assume it's the manager that saved the day and made my order quick fast and in a hurry. The sandwich itself was delicious. It's a Beach birdie or something like that on the website as a special. The vibe was energetic and the crowd was diverse! People seem to love the place for the variety of their tasty-sounding menu items. There seemed to be something for everyone on the menu! They have craft sandwiches, breakfast platters, bowls, salads, and more! The menu seemed innovative and I wanted to try multiple things. I ordered two basic egg sandwiches which included two cage-free eggs, cheddar, and a brioche bun. One included bacon and the other included sausage. Each element was cooked perfectly. I was surprised at the thick, crispy bacon and the thick sausage. I will say that the sausage had a sweetness that I didn't quite enjoy. But otherwise, everything was just fine. This place is great! I've been here a couple of times already. The first time I went probably wasn't the best time to arrive as it had been pouring out all day and I arrived on a Sunday around lunchtime so it was packed! Despite the amount of people here, I ended up receiving my meal extremely fast. I think at max maybe 5 minutes, which impressed me despite how many people were ordering. I think they are well aware of their popularity and as a result are adequately staffed. Even another time when I've come a little after they opened up on the weekend they had a full staff. I enjoy coming here and the staff are friendly and they work really hard to ensure things run smoothly. The inside is actually very cute and the decor is cool to look at as there's lots of color which is refreshing! Even when busy, I find there to be a decent amount of seating. Both times I have ordered the classic chicken sandwich that comes with their homemade chips. You're able to sub out the chips for fries or something else just at an upcharge. However, I suggest you try their chips as they are just the best side for the sandwich. Perfectly seasoned and a nice crunch in every bite. I did appreciate that the chips aren't super greasy or anything. As for the classic chicken, oh my goodness, this sandwich is so incredibly tender and flavorful! However they do their breading for the chicken it is perfect and they should never change their process! Had about 30 minutes in between team photos and when my daughter needed to be back at the soccer field for warmups so decided to come here and get some food quickly. The other reviews said the food came out quickly but I figured 30 minutes was plenty of time to eat at a fast casual spot. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese and a smoothie for my daughter. The smoothie came out almost immediately after we sat down and then we waited and waited and waited while folks around us got their food and damn near finished. I went up to the front to ask how much longer for my order and they said it went out already and the person must be looking for our number, which made no sense because he found us immediately for the drinks. I go outside and there's literally no one walking around with food looking for us so I go back in and say I'm pretty sure you gave my food to someone else and sure enough they had. So now they say they will remake it but now we've waited our 30 minutes and need to go, so I asked for my money back. The people at the front were nice but then it also took what felt like several minutes for them to figure out how to refund my money. I decided to come here on a rainy Sunday morning and let me say even the rain was not stopping anybody from showing up here. I will say that it was a little tough to figure out where the line to place orders began because it was absolutely mobbed but once I figured it out I was greeted by some of the friendliest staff I've ever seen. I had to ask a couple questions because I had never been and they answered the questions insanely fast. I decided to get a breakfast sandwich which consisted of sausage, and over easy egg caramelized onions and a sweet maple sauce as well as an iced coffee. Everything was delivered to me in less than 5 minutes and let me just say that the food was extraordinary the sausage had some amazing flavor and the Egg had the perfect runny yolk consistency. The brioche bun it was on was nice and soft and the sauce had a exceptionally sweet flavor that was actually cut down a little bit by the sausage and salt and pepper on the egg. The iced coffee was also very good and I got it with sugar-free vanilla syrup and I will definitely be getting the iced coffee from here again. I also have to say that for the price this is definitely a go-to place that I recommend everybody visits at least once because once you go you will be a repeat customer, no doubt about it! read more

My fellow Yelpie buddy Nancy L. went here a few times when it opened and so we decided to meet up for a Yelp coffee date. Went during a weekday for breakfast and coffee and it was nice and peaceful. Love the bright yellow colors and fun decor all around. My favorite is definitely the bathroom crossword puzzle. What a funny sign! I was literally trying to do some of that word search too though. Ha. The concept of Crack'd is easy enough, go up to the counter and order your food, they give you a number, pick your seat and they bring the food to you. Keeping it simple and efficient. I love it. Our coffee came out first. I ordered the toasted almond latte and I don't like my drinks too sweet so I did half the pumps. My coffee was just ok. Maybe I should try it as next time to compare. I got the Show Bird sandwich and a side of hash browns. The sandwich was massive, not gonna lie. The Show Bird has e whites, smoked turkey, swiss, roasted red peppers, pesto aioli all on 7 grain bread. Delicious. There was a generous serving of egg whites. I only ate half my sandwich. The hash browns were super crispy and tasty. I loved the hot sauce selection as I have Melinda's hot sauces at home and the flavors are unique. Came here somewhat on a whim after driving all this way to find out that Maple & Cream was closed (yes, for some reason they're closed every Tuesday) but luckily this spot is open! I got the Porker egg sandwich, which was the perfect size for me. I'm used to sausage patties being pretty thin but to my surprise, it was quite thick and juicy! My fiancé got the Sunny Hash which looked good and hefty! He didn't finish because it's that big of a bowl. Yay, more for me as leftovers later! I'm still new to Broward and experiencing new places to eat and I'm just glad I came here and tried the food and the experience was every bit of amazing. I stopped by with a friend for a quick bite after shopping and was very pleasantly surprised by the fast and friendly service. There were still a few places to sit while they were busy since a lot of people just stop by for coffee. You pick your coffee up, but if you get food, they will bring it to your table. The decor is cheeky and cute with little cracked eggshells for lights and a giant chicken on the wall, with utensil patterns in the wallpaper.
