If I could give negative stars for this location I would! I am very unimpressed with this location. Ive been getting "breakfast" once a week as a curbside order on the weekend. More times then I care to admit, 95% of the food has been cold, like it's sitting out waiting to be run for their curbside service after checking in on the website. I live maybe 5-7 minutes from the location & there's no reason why I should be reheating my order because it's mostly cold by the time I get home. The only time I've ever gotten an actual "hot" breakfast, was when I ordered it in the evening. Tonight I placed my order @ 8:06pm, usually the same thing (Momma's French toast breakfast). 20-25 minutes to pickup, I arrive early, check in on the website, and my order wasn't even ready until AN HOUR after I placed it! I called at 8:37 and spoke to Rachel who said my order would be ready in another 5-10 minutes. 20 minutes goes by and I'm still waiting on my curbside order. Call back, speak to Rachel who says their doors are locked at 9?! How am I supposed to get my order?! She then tells me to come in to get it. I really am not trying to be a Karen about this but WHAT IN THE......?!?! Wait in line, get up to the counter and now my order doesn't exist (I gave my last name - which is CLEARLY marked in BOLD LETTERS on my receipt. And there it was, the ONLY ORDER sitting on the to-go shelf. Now, after waiting in the curbside spot for 40+ minutes, I got to bring COLD FOOD home to reheat in the microwave. The manager said he wasn't going to charge me for the order since it's been sitting so long it's probably cold... so I'll update this review if the refund shows up or if I have to dispute the charge with my bank. Never again. Cracker Barrel, your curbside/to-go game is SEVERELY SLACKING IN CRESTVIEW! UPDATE: No response from "customer care" - and the manager NEVER PROCESSED THE REFUND. The Ribeye steak was removed from the menu so the only other choice for a steak was the Sirloin. Very bad mistake!, because it is a much tougher, cheaper, quality piece of meat. I have all of my real teeth thank goodness because false teeth would have never been able to chew it up. It may not mean much to anyone else but I always ate the Ribeye because it was very tender where you could cut it with your fork. I'm dissappointed with this management decision because losing your food quality will cause you to lose loyal customers. Zero wait time late at night on Friday so the food came out quickly. I typically try and eat something different every time I come to a Cracker Barrel. Pork chop was cooked perfectly but maybe some glaze would've been nice to have with it. Well guess this Cracker Barrel can treat customers like garbage because travellers will still pull of the interstate and frequent this place. My first impression was the very unpleasant hostess who seemed almost annoyed by my presence. So I get seated and then the wait begins. The server in my section "Toya" didn't have any interest in waiting on me. She waited on her other tables and even cleaned and and set up her other tables. All the while ignoring me. Was it because I was alone? My age? my race? Hmmmm. So I finally flag down another server who was quite jice actually. She told me "Toya" had told her she had helped me. Complete Lie. This server is the only thing saving this from being a 1 star review. And the food was up to par too. Just overall a terribly unfriendly Cracker Barrel. My husband and I started the tradition a few years ago to do Cracker Barrel Thanksgiving. They put all of the food together, you just put it in your own dishes and cook it. I followed the instructions to a "T". My parents joined us this year, so the pressure was on to deliver an amazing Thanksgiving meal that my mom always has (hers ALL from her own blood, sweat, and tears)! Well, somehow, everything turned out perfect EXCEPT the famous Hashbrown casserole. It burned. I mean, it BURNED. Not one salvageable bite in the whole dish. The only thing that I can think of is that the dish I used, 9x13, was too big (there are no dish specifications in the directions other than "oven safe"). I was upset. It's my favorite. I was looking forward to that and the ham more than anything else. What does my amazing husband do? Immediately drives to Cracker Barrel and coaxes them into selling him a pan of the hashbrown casserole. He was told they couldn't do it. After he said that he wanted to order 8 sides of hashbrown casserole, he was told that they could do it, but it would be 2 hours. One of the managers came out, and My husband explained to them what happened, how upset I was, and how he was there to fix it. The manager asked him to give him 25 minutes. Before the manager made it to the back to put it together, someone else brought him a pan of hashbrown casserole! He got home and everything else was ready to eat...including the new hashbrown casserole! One of the more consistent and reliable meals in Crestview. It's usually crowded but they'll get you in quick. Service is typically very good and friendly, it is the south after all! We love their breakfast any time of the day! Hashbrown casserole, chicken fried chicken, their enormous pancakes, biscuits and their newest skillets! So good. Their lunch and dinners are also good. I believe her name was Jade, I understand it was busy for a Wednesday so we let most of it go until it was 45+ minutes after we ordered and our server went to both tables next to us and still didn't acknowledge us to even bring our salad or bread or even an explanation of why it was taking so long. We already waited a while so we ordered everything right away hoping to get out salad. I finally said excuse me and she legit snapped at us. We were just trying to see if it was much longer and if she could bring us the bread or at least our salad and yes I had to say escuse me otherwise she wasn't coming to our table just walking past us over and over with out a word to us.. She then with the biggest attitude said "it's coming!" Well she bring out everything at once, got my entree wrong (since she didn't repeat the order)and brought the wrong dressing and none of the condiments we asked for. It got to the point we felt like we were being a burden to her so we didn't even ask for anything else. I just aske to take the entree off that was wrong, and she said well by the time you're finished it will be out... I'm Sorry but left over fish is just not something I want. She did take it off. We were finished we continued to wait, she didn't check up on us at all or even acknowledge we needed another drink. I know it was busy but if you can't handle that many tables, you should speak up to management and not take on so much. I've never had such a rude server. I've always liked CB, have ate at both locations in the area, usually lunch in Destin or breakfast in Crestview.... Breakfast in the Crestview location is usually me and the wifey, very early on weekends before our store runs. Never have had an issue here, alway liked what we ordered and waiters are nice and personable. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing stops of many other stores across the country. Fried chicken is really fried then reheated when ordered, as it obviously is here. Chicken was served barely warm, which also gave it a greasiness requiring Alka Seltzer to tame later that night. Batter was overly salty. (This from someone who over salts everything.) The ham in the turnip greens -- usually a well/prepared dish in other CB restaurants -- was stringy and chewy. Fried shrimp suffered from same batter as the chicken. I was disappointed bc I had 5 small pieces and 2 of them were just the end pieces that were dipped in breading/ batter. They were crunchy and broke both pieces in half. No white fish at all. I have eaten at different Cracker Barrels throughout the U.S. This restaurant chain has consistency down to a science. Every time is eat here I order the same meal - the country fried steak. It always tastes yummy. Since we just moved to the area less than a month ago I am not familiar with restaurants in the area so I am happy that I can rely on Cracker Barrel to serve me a meal that is delicious every time. I must not be the only one that admires their consistency. We have had to wait for a table several times that we have visited. My kids don't seem to mind waiting. They love browsing the store in front of the restaurant. They also like to play with the triangle puzzle that is on each table while they wait for their food. read more

Went to have breakfast on 2/25/19. Two of us , the hostess seats us in an area where there are at least 2 tables of about 20 people each. 3 waitresses to help those tables. During the at least 10 min we sat there, the hostess seated 2 separate tables of two each at other tables in another area. The waitresses there immediately took their drink orders. Then another couple were seated and got their drink order. We got up and left. No one ever even acknowledged us. No waitress no manager and the hostess seemed to have cared less. We walked out and she just sat there and didn't say anything. We didn't either because after all this I didn't want to give my business to this place. This is a famous chain in the south/southeast and as I am not much of a chain restaurant kind of gal, I must say this place is pretty good. I love love love the hash brown casserole and pancakes! Literally some of the best I have ever had. The great thing about chains is that they rarely ever change the menu and most of the food is frozen, so you are guaranteed to know exactly what you will get! This sounds like a horrible review but I sure do love this place. The service is always great and the people sure do portray the southern hospitality. Went here for lunch with a friend and ordered a side of fruit with my salad. Person with me ordered a side of fries with their meal, their meal came with a plate overflowing with fries. My side consisted of 6 blueberries and four tiny pieces of pineapple. I thought there was perhaps a mistake and brought the meager portion of fruit to the attention of my server. She actually confirmed this was indeed considered a side and actually brought me another bowl with the exact same portion of fruit.
