First of all, let me tell you about my waiter. If I remember correctly, his name was Keyshon. He was phenomenal! He went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing experience. His customer service was everything I needed it to be and was for sure the best part of my visit. The food was good too, but it wasn't something to write home about..if you know what I mean. It tasted as expected. The decor is fitting for an "Old Country" store. Definitely gives down home country vibes, which is perfect for the name. One thing I noticed is that the guests at the other tables were more of the older generation, which is fine, but just something to note depending on what kind of crowd or vibe you're looking for. All in all, this location will always be my go to.

I've eaten here multiple times. I feel like the service is hit or miss. Sometimes the service is excellent; sometimes I wonder how the server even got their job!?! Breakfast is always good. The bonus of coming to Cracker Barrel is getting to browse through their country store. They've made payment easy with their app and the ability to pay online through the QR code. Did you know that CB now serves beer, wine, cocktails (mimosas, margaritas, and bloody mary's)? Today, I ordered Momma's Breakfast with an iced Vanilla Latte. It's a eggs, choice of bacon of sausage, choice of pancakes or French toast. I opted for the large portion of four slices of French toast, which were fluffy and tasty. This visit was a weekday, 9:45am. The dining room was abt 30% full. Food was good. Service was meh.

Not a great experience... first of all It's always full here with folks which is fine ..... the server Mr. Michael took forever and didn't even know his own menu that he was working with . You would expect a cosmonaut employee to know their own food . After waiting Avery long time He brought out the food that we ordered , I received only my side item .. and I asked for the manger then he put my order in for Shepards pie and I waited again only to find out at 12 in the afternoon they DONT HAVE ANY LUNCH ITEMS ... I would only come here to bring my grandparents , and they say they want to attract a younger crowd ........ they sold t even apologize for the entire mix up

Food was amazing filled us both up. French toast was the best. Limited time louisiana plate that needs to stay!

Cracker Barrel has never really been a favorite of mine. It's been years since I've been here and today reminded me. I've never had grits or pancakes taste so horrible. I got the Grandmas sampler and I can say that the bacon, sausage and ham was pretty good, but everything else was horrible! Our waiter was really great, and it's always great to shop in the store. But the food just wasn't worth the loud, noisy restaurant.

Was I just in a good mood? I'm confused as to why this Cracker Barrel has a 3! We were cheerily greeted last Sunday and asked to wait around 20 minutes, which was no problem at all, as rocking in their chairs in 60 degree weather is a treat. The hostess was a bit awkward. She kept hesitating leading us to the table as folks were coming and going - take charge! She ultimately led us to the table closest to the hostess stand, where there is a lot of foot traffic. I requested we be moved to another table and it took a minute for them to accommodate, but we were moved to another table towards the back and we had an excellent time. I wish I could remember our waitress's name, because she was so knowledgeable about the menu and hyped us up on our choices. She was extremely attentive and upbeat to boot - probably the best waitress I've had at a Cracker Barrel. But about the food - I was honestly shocked at how well-cooked and seasoned (almost) everything was. I got their homestyle chicken, mash, mac, dumplings, and gravy with their cheese bites to share for the table. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned. The mashed potatoes were smooth, fluffy, and buttery, the Mac was cheesy - a little overdone but still yummy, and the gravy was perfect for dragging my chicken and mash through. The cheese bites were yummy. I've had better but they were still nice to have. And the BISCUITS for the TABLE? So tender and buttery. My only disappointment was the chicken and dumplings. Very one-note with hardly any chicken and no veggies in. Took two bites and hard pass. I ate way too much and left so happy - then spent about $20 on gift store merchandise. I'm already missing being there!

We haven't been to Cracker Barrel in a while so we went yesterday. The waitress told us they had no biscuits in cornbread I said so we cannot have biscuits and gravy. She said oh we'll make biscuits for that. The restaurant was not busy. Had had three tables on a positive note. The restaurant was very clean.

Smoky Southern Salmon with rice and your choice of 2 or 3 sides.

I took advantage of their recent $.99 delivery fee special. Had this delicious salmon delivered. It was new on the menu, moist, cooked well, and of course I loved all the vegetables sides! Definitely will get again.

I have to say I hate writing these reviews. But I was sorely let down. Went for an after church breakfast for dinner day with my friend. They immediately sat us down but they took FOREVER to acknowledge us and then another won to come take our drink order. After a while of waiting for our drinks then the wait for the food also took pretty long. Once we were at the ravenous point it came out and great deception. Everything was bland. They didn't have some of the stuff ordered and kept it on the ticket when they brought the check. The 2 stars are because the guy at the front discounted the food. I hope they find extra help for the only server there that day.

First of all the wait was none. The place was not crowded at all for a lunch time crowd. Very open seating. The food was mediocre. No seasoning and get this. No carrots anymore and no broccoli-ran out. The service had ALOT to be desired. Be my last trip there. CRACKER BARREL CMON. DO BETTER. TOILETS WERE NOT CLEAN

Walked in and was told the wait would be 35 minutes. Totally fair, it was busy. That was my first mistake: believing them. After exactly 35 minutes, we politely asked how much longer, and were told, with the confidence of someone making it up on the spot, "Another 15 minutes." That "15 minutes" blossomed into a full hour before we were finally seated, at which point, I was so hungry I considered chewing on the decorative lantern hanging above the hostess stand. We ordered what I assumed were the easiest, fastest items on the menu: chicken tenders and pancakes. You know, things a toddler could cook with adult supervision. Apparently not. Our food took another 40 minutes to arrive. That's 100 minutes of waiting so far, for anyone keeping track. And then came the plot twist: no utensils. No napkins. Nothing. We were just staring at our food like contestants on a survival show. Asked our waitress for some basic tools to eat our meal and were told, "I'll have to see if I'm allowed." Excuse me??? Since when did forks require managerial clearance? Eventually she returned, victorious, with plastic utensils from the takeout counter. At this point, I was just impressed that she came back at all. Now, let's talk about the food: Was it worth the wait? In a word-no. It was fine. Just fine. The kind of meal that makes you say, "Yep, that's food," before immediately forgetting what it tasted like. The bathroom was truck stop clean. Grime on the seats and the smell that could peel paint. In summary: if you're looking for a dining experience that tests your patience, makes you question the nature of time, and rewards you with mediocrity served on a plate, with a side of plastic cutlery, Cracker Barrel is the place for you. Two stars, and one of those is purely for the rocking chairs out front.

Went on a Thursday because I wanted the turkey and dressing special. The waitress was extremely nice. The turkey portion was smaller than I remembered but it was surprisingly filling. They had run out of green beans and it wasn't even noon. What? Opted for fried okra. Everything was delicious.

Burger that they could not get right

Service at Cracker Barrel's has gone down significantly. Wait times are way too high and the employees there do not wanna do their job. The say the wait time is 20 minutes and then the employee in charge of sitting people just sat people wherever he pleased and people who were in 4th and 5th were there for 1hr including us. They also decided to close one of the kitchens. Manager had to come out and fix things. Ambience has declined since Cracker Barrel decided to remodel the restaurants to be more modern with white and grey modern. Food order was also wrong, don't know how hard it can be to get plain right. It was not plain, had everything on it. Also took like 2 hours to get the food. Never again. Dessert was good tho

So we decided to try the burgers during this trip. I will say this, I will never order another burger at this restaurant. We are huge fans of fresh hamburgers, and we always try them at most restaurants that we go to. So we got a Hickory burger, a bacon cheeseburger, and a regular cheeseburger. All of our burgers were well done to the point that they were hard to chew and they were not tasty. Normally at this restaurant, food comes out very quickly, but this time it did take a little longer and now I know why. I was very disappointed in all of the burgers and how they were really way too well done. The restaurant was super busy and we should've said something, but we did not because we had been waiting so long. We just did not want to wait any longer. The french fries were super hot and fresh, I will give them that. I think at this point, we will stick to the chicken tenders because those are super good, but the burgers were not good at all. Again, we really enjoy this restaurant, but we are going to stick to what we normally order. If you order a burger at Mia's table, make sure you tell them that you want it done medium, and not well done. Other than this experience, we have always loved the food there and you get free ice cream after your meal. We highly recommend the chicken tenders and the baked beans are phenomenal. The green beans are great. The banana pudding is great and the staff is super friendly.

Our waitress was super sweet but you could tell they were either understaffed or not used to being that full. It took super long time for all of our food to come out. Appetizers came over 40 minutes after ordering and the mains came over an hour and 15 mins or so after we arrived, and that was with the mains being ordered halfway through the apps. The first bite of the oyster was ok. It didn't taste like it was just made but maybe pre-prepped perhaps. We were supposed to receive bread soon after the first bite but we didn't. It was difficult to flag someone down because the waitstaff was moving fast and bringing out food for all the tables. We received our appetizers and then I had to let them know that we didn't get bread. So our bread and appetizers were eaten together. Now onto the food. We ordered the shrimp, jollof ball, calamari, and tacos. The calamari was straight up not good. We didn't finish it and no one in our party thought it tasted fresh. It had a very odd texture. It wasn't chewy or have a bite like normal calamari does but it was like a sponge. We all took one piece. Our party is all about not wasting food but the fact that the appetizer was not finished was very telling. The shrimp had good flavor but wasn't spectacular. The tacos were good. The jollof ball was spicy and nice. Between the appetizer and the entree there was over 35 minute gap. For this reason, we asked if we could have more bread, but they said they charged for extra bread. Tbh, I don't mind if places charge little for bread service, but if it takes over 35 minutes for the entree to come out, I'd expect the restaurant to give another piece of bread per person for no fee. That's just good customer service but alas we declined the bread. For the mains we ordered the brai (10) up charge, the lamb chops, the ribeye, and pork chop. The ribeye was great, cooked well, juicy and with good flavor. Lamb chops were also nice. The pork had an interesting flavor that my party member wasn't fond of, but it was cooked nicely and was reasonably juicy. The big miss was the brai. It had a 10 dollar upcharge for 1 row of lateral axis short rib, 1 lamb chops, and 1 sausage. The short rib was fine but a crap ton of fat. The lamb chop was good, the sausage was raw in the middle. When I brought it up to someone that the sausage was raw, they took the same sausage and cooked it until it was done. Keep in mind the restaurant is dark and my other companions had some of the sausage but the outer pieces. I had a piece in my mouth and had to spit it out because I could feel the raw meat sausage texture in my mouth. Instead of bringing me a new sausage they took the same one, which to me is outrageous especially because I had spit out a good piece. The waitress apologized but I had to ask to speak to the manager instead of someone coming to our table first. When they brought the same sausage out, it rolled off the plate onto the table....i just accepted it. They took off the 10 dollar up charge off the bill but I don't think that was enough especially with the whole debacle of the sausage being raw. I expected the restaurant to have a solution but I was put on the spot about what they needed to do. I wished I'd asked for the 1 meal to be half off or more than 10 dollars off just because of everything and the food quality and the terrible wait times. The mashed potatoes also weren't great. Green beans were good, jollof rice side was good. Desserts were fine. All in all, we expected better quality of food and service.

They serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday until 330. The brunch menu is huge. It is not a super large menu, which I feel very endearing. We decided to try the bagel and lox with cream cheese, the Buzz burger with fries, and their homemade chips. They start off by bringing you this beautiful craft of bottled water. That to me was an amazing bonus. We also ordered two sodas which came in a can. I sort of wish it was a more of a fountain drink than one can of soda for the price. *Now service was super slow. However, the waitress did come and tell us that they are running a little behind and she apologized for it and she was super sweet, so that made up for the weight. How do I known how long it was going to take, I don't know if I would've stayed, but in the end, the food was amazing. The burger was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend is a hamburger snob and he kept saying how good it was how fresh it was and how perfectly cooked it was. They serve you shoestring fries that feel like they're double fried and they were phenomenal. My bagel was toasted perfectly and had a very good amount of cream cheese and lox. As a Jewish girl living in the area that I do, it's very hard to find good bagels with lox and cream cheese. I will most definitely be back for this sooner than later. The homemade chips took quite a while to come out, and at one point I was ready to say we don't need it, but these potato chips beat Buccees beaver chips, 100%. They were super fresh and very crunchy and tasted amazing. I will definitely recommend those to anybody that orders some. My boyfriend then ordered a tropical sunrise smoothie and it was so tasty and tasted like a strawberry banana smoothie. Now once again that did take a long time to come out and at one point, we were wishing we had not ordered it but once we did get it, it was really good and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is not very large and it's the perfect brunch spot for anybody looking for a smaller Cafe with very good choices.

Tables are well spaced plenty of room eight crisp environment really just a very comfortable ambience. The services superlative from the moment you walk in in which you are immediately accommodated to the server who takes an order and then the servers who serve the food which is not necessarily one in the same. It's simply a very efficient service system and very pleasant if you're a customer. You get warm food. In my case I had hollandaise with Salman underlying it, which was very good. The eggs were cooked perfectly the hollandaise not by any means obnoxious but a very deliberate Irving and a wonderful salad, which both underlines the egg and is served as a side with the eggs, which were perfectly poached. In so far as the buzz is concerned, there are wines and beer available and really quite an extensive menu in both. I enjoyed a beer with mine, which I know it sounds like an odd combination, but it worked quite well for me. Really this is a wonderful addition to Katy options for breakfast or brunch.
